    i don’t know if this would be possible but a cool video would be breaking down a high school college and nfl playbook and the differences between them

    Buddy of mine is a coach and has taught me a lot of this stuff. It’s amazing how much goes into each play… Nice of Chase to breakdown terminology and blocking techniques etc….Great stuff.

    The amount of knowledge and mental exrcise is huge. These guys have to be so confident in their understanding of the smallest nuance in the play to make the best decision where to go with the ball.
    And then analysts are all impressed by someone’s arm. Ignoring the brain

    I have been watching (and sharing) football for years, reading books I got off amazon about one year of 1 NFL offense, and Sean Payton and Josh McDaniels offenses and matching it to broadcast or All 22 are as hard as anything I did in school while earning 3 degrees. Im not even trying to defeat it just admire it. This is why NFL football is the greatest freakin sport, violent chess. Sean McVay 2018 Rams book was the easiest to figure out/match to broadcast footage. Play action deep crossers, with 10 different flavors

    As a new-ish football coach (varsity high school coach for the last 2 years), I need to see more verbiage and tactics content. This is a fantastic lane for Chase to fill, given his experience.

    its no wonder QB is the hardest position to succeed in in all of pro sports and why there's only a handful every year that can do it. not only do you have to be athletically gifted, posses a great arm, you also have to have insane football IQ and memorization

  • @A7CDM
    @A7CDM Месяц назад +1

    Sometimes I think that’s why teams can’t succeed, it almost feels like an ego thing for having such a complexed playbook. I hear at times QB’s aren’t comfortable until towards the end of the season with terminology. Doesn’t seem the most efficient way of teaching/being potent on offense. Sometimes just need to simplify and be more QB friendly but it’s the NFL, what do I know.

    Why are colleges coaches able to send plays in so quickly for no huddle offenses, while the NFL plays are always verbose?

    • @JonathanChase
      @JonathanChase 3 месяца назад

      @@ChaseDanielShow Why don't NFL teams use this approach? Is it too easy for the other sideline to steal their signs, or does the NFL playbook have more information that has to be signaled in? From the outside, it's hard to understand why the NFL hasn't evolved it's playcalling system in the same ways the college game has. Thanks!
