These sobriety tests are by far the most ridiculous thing police officers do on duty anywhere in the world.
I was thinking the same thing around the 18 minute mark where the officer is attempting to explain the instructions. Totally lost and completely sober.

They need to stop them and just use the breathalyzer. If over then take her to the station for the official one. Saves time for the officer and the scene. Works well in Canada and Australia that I know for sure

You dont get it, dui test is just secondary. Her first offense is no one is allowed to be on the jetski 30 mins before sunrise and 30 mins after sunset which she did.
She’s not going to be prosecuted for a dui without a bad breath test, genius.

I kept trying to follow along with the test at home, dead sober, and struggled to follow his directions.
I have a feeling they say the directions quick and clipped on purpose just to make it more confusing so people are more likely to fail.
She was acting out-of-it, and shouldn't have been where she was, but that test was bizarre.

Absolutely. That was some of the most ridiculous and ludicrous tests I've EVER SEEN. I think if that went/ goes to court a jury would agree with most of us commenting on its insanity.
Leah passed. The test he was giving her were almost guaranteed to be failed. Her lawyer should be able to easily get that thrown out.

To be perfectly honest with you the girl driving the jet ski listening to the officer try to explain all of that...that's a complex series of tasks. Not sure I blame her completely for failing it.
Those field sobriety tests are kind of ridiculous. I probably cant do them all dead straight first thing in the morning.

Field sobriety tests are unescessary and a waste of time. Breath testing monitors are quick, easy and effective in determining if a person is over the blood/alcohol limit.
