Looking at Wuthering Wave footage and I'm just like: "Wow, this game looks really good." 👀
Genshin players have this irrational fear that if people stop playing to try another game, Mihoyo will immediately shut down the Genshin servers and they'll never be able to go back.
and they also think if genshin ever shuts down they can't say hello to their dear fictional hot waifus anymore lol
@@LemonPop93 not really, some of us don't want to leave without the story completed and all the lore theories come to light, not for the hot men and women..
@@ShaneLawrence-xg8tcsee I'm the same, that's why I can happily stop playing.
Cause even if I don't play it, I know RUclips got my back with the story and lore.
@@HaydenLycoris opinion accepted, but my point still stands. Majority of the genshin community are thirsty players who play for waifu or husbando
@@LemonPop93I second this when I was a genshin player I was a huge simp
For the hologram for each new difficulty, you unlocked the bosses mechanics, starting to change and have newer movesets, more aggressive and moves faster. More health and hits harder. Higher difficultly is always a one shot or two shot you. And the hardest difficultly they get buffs for themselves.
And also tier list don't matter in this game because even healers can beat hologram( end game). By themselves its just matter a skill issue or not.
yeah the game is more skill based than gear based
Sounds great 🙏🏼
@@Gheniel_ that means powercreep won't be much of an issue here, which is a big W for me. No more meta, unless a character with a better kit than a previous character of the same element releases. It depends tho, and since no meta, we can enjoy whatever characters we want
I hope Wuthering Wave can attract most of the Genshin Impact players so that miHoYo can finally listen to us, the players, and be more generous.
Wuthering wave will only attract minority of genshin players base that have either quit playing the game or haven’t login within months to a year, there not going to get entire play base and besides this is not going to affect mihoyo whatsoever if that what u want to believe.
@@krazyieray998 I agree. Casual players are a majority and hardcore are a minority in them.
CBT 1 has that elemental combinations concerto effects but they remove it on CBT 2 unfortunately and focus on just combat-based game for hardcores.
I just hope they return the CBT 1 Elemental combinations to atleast attract a majority of casual players in genshin who wants a better genshin alternative.
@@Tsukio2024 the elemental reaction system is what transform the game in the boring mess it became.
Remove that system and focus on parry and perfect dodge is what permit you total freedom in team building and playing what ever character you like as long as you know how parry and dodge.
@@krazyieray998i agree that this will not affect Hoyoverse whatsoever, even if players leave the game they won't get affected too much. But we don't know if WuWa is going to attract a lot of players or not since it's not released yet, so can't say for sure
@@krazyieray998we don’t care if it surpass genshit, we just want a fun skill based game similar to PGR
I have to say i love genshin impact this game was something i always wanted to play but as i grew i jsut started to feel meh about it and it wasnt because of hoyoverse the rewards and stuff like that but rather the style, combat and overall feel of the game i love open world games but i have also grown to love more mature themes darker pallets and fast paced combat so this is why i will be playing wuthering waves i dont hate genshin impact but it doesnt appeal to me anymore while wuthering waves does. Anyway hope all yalls pulls go great in any gacha game ur playing since gacha is pain

Genshin players are insanely delusional. They think that other game success will ruin genshin, meanwhile if it's most like gonna force devs to actually listen to playerbase, and add content/qol
J
ITS IMPOSSIBLE for me to quit GI, I like walking around teyvat, and i still gonna play WW
Same bro, same..
I don't understand why people want to be so restricted to one game, like genshin as a game isn't bad at all, the lore, music and graphics.. they're all amazing, the only real issue with genshin is mihoyo failing to connect with the player base and the player base being incredibly toxic..
Like do people find it that difficult to play both games? Games are meant for your own enjoyment, if you like don't like a game, there's no need to trash talk about it, like just keep moving on..
Idk why it's so damn difficult for people,e to understand that, the sooner people do, the anime/gacha game community will really become bette as a whole.
Good for you, you should be protected, I'm quitting GI for good
While I don't really enjoy Genshin that much anymore, I still think it's a good game that has good things to offer. My issue is the Genshin fanbase. You may say it's a "loud minority", but the fanbase is so massive that this "loud minority" is actually a huge amount of people. I've been excited for Wuthering Waves since it's official reveal almost 2 years ago... but I can't help but constantly see Genshin fans attacking Wuthering Waves. Which really sucks to see. I also don't even get why they attack Wuthering Waves. If Wuthering Waves does good and become a competitor for Genshin, then that should make HoYo compete and actually improve Genshin. It's a win-win for everyone.
Then there's the whole argument that Wuthering Waves is a "Genshin ripoff", which if you seen any kind of gameplay, you would see that it's not. Just because it's a open world anime gacha rpg, does not make it a Genshin ripoff. It's a genre, a type of game. And even if Wuthering Waves is similar, isn't that a good thing? It means you'll have another great game similar to Genshin to play.
I'm starting to dislike Genshin and it's fanbase more and more as time goes on. I even saw some Genshin fans review bombing Wuthering Waves, even though the game isn't even out yet. I just don't get it...
The genshin fan base attack WW? It's been the other way around. People constantly attack genshin from hsr to WW players/fanboys.
@@nobody-xh6iiOh believe me, it's happening on both sides.
personally I’m not interested in Ww but people sayin it’s a Genshin rip of is a bit to far, they are different in a lot of ways
Genshin players who have been attacking wuwa are the type of people who have not played a single video game prior to genshin 🤷♀️ or they’re simply ignorant
@@nobody-xh6ii It's happening on both sides. But I think there's a bit of a difference between the fandoms attacking each others games. Genshin has existed for years, becoming a massive game with a massive fanbase. But Wuthering Waves is lesser known and has not even been released yet.
I was genuinely hyped up for this game, and today I uninstalled it just after 3 hrs of gameplay because it literally have same mechanism like genshin, if you are hoping to get a fresh experience in another gaccha game, then its not for you, and for people saying its a hardcore game, no its not, the world exploration is kind of bland but the combat is cool tho but this game doesn't offer something new well then gonna go and play ghost of tsushima.
That’s probably the worst take I’ve seen by far…
Like……. the actual f*ck do you even mean it’s not a “hardcore game”? 😂😂
blud is trolling
Also I wouldn’t take advice from someone that literally played the game ONLY for 3 hours. Go spread your BS elsewhere like genshin..
erm....put the "Genshin" out okay?
Just "players" because these Gayshrek kid r not gonna happy about this
Finally someone that doesn't just simply hate on genshin and still appreciate the good things in the game such as the world building, story, lore and music. Just because it's not a perfect game doesn't mean it's a bad game. Wuthering Waves is like the missing piece that genshin needs to be complete so why don't we just play both of them? and stop arguing about which is better.
It's honestly a breath of very fresh air
@@wo0my_w0omyy true
your right ....Playing both game is possible...genshin can be played in 30 minutes...
@@katsuwen you never played gacha games before? no gacha games can be played more than 30 minutes once you reached the end game the hell are you talking about?

why would they ? genshin casual game and will stay casual even after wuthering wave release
hardcore players is like only 1% on genshin and they don't make alot of money compare to casuals since majority of hardcore player are F2P
also about shiny it's client base if you found shiny it's only on your screen but not your other co-op player screen
oh drama is coming since tectone and mtashed will cover this game
its gonna be very interesting to see how wuthering waves will keep up with time, after 1-2 years.
healthy competition will hopefully be good for both games.
I'm happy about WW because i played genshin i loved but the community is toxic for me, and i messed up and becoming toxic and then the same happened with honkai star rail but now i finally have a 2 chance to do it! I shall not mess everything up again..
Where are you getting the delusion WuWa is "harcore?" It's a gacha. If you spend enough, you can mash buttons to victory. If whales can't "win" they will leave the game. NO gacha is "skill-based" or "harcore" because if you spend $1,000 you must be allowed to complete all content. I realize you gambling addicts are starved for a new game to throw your money at, but come on. "Hardcore" LMAOOOOOO 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
dont talk unless you have played the hologram bosses which rival some of the hardest souls bosses in difficulty. kuro does not make games that allows whales to pay their way to victory. also in ww you have to grind to find echoes you want and no amount of money will help with that
Bosses one shot you no matter what characters you have😂
Every single contentor i see is a burned genshin player so far. Speaks on the real issue i see in both. Anger. We need a new perspective.
coop is as bad as genshin if not worse
Wuthering Waves has finally been released and it uses the exact same gacha system as genshin and hsr, and goes as far to copy the amount of currency you get for the same exact price in genshin, and the monthly subscription is exactly the same as genshins. I came into Wuthering Waves thinking it was going to be an amazing free to play game, with a lot more opportunities in the end-game for brokies like me. But really, it’s just a carbon copy of genshin!
Wuwa will not be outstanding at launch the real hurtle is will players have it in them to ride the wave as the game grows and adjust.
This game is just by it premises trying to make it own identity while also being cast as something else by people who want competition
As for the toxicity age factor is not the issue. Any media with a large enough fanbase becomes noted as toxic.
Its the default if WuWa gets bigger just by the numbers there will be toxic people its unavoidable
Genshin has an audience same with WuWa and well see where it will go because for Genshin its made a smart move playing towards a casual player base
WuWa seems like its trying to get both casual and hardcore which is a recipe for failure
But we will see and on arrival its going to be overhyped
Right now temper expectations
ww will not be outstanding at launch? the game already is outstanding for many people and is made by a company who respects and listens to its players. also ww is catering to casuals for required content aka stories while having endgame optional content with 0 premium currency tied to it for hardcore players which is a smart move not a bad one. genshin did the bad move in ignoring some of its whales and people who wanted actual endgame
As a rank 58 genshin player with a bunch of good characters, I have really got tired of the game. WuWa seems much better to me due to its dynamic game mechanics and a tiny bit of difficulty. I also adore souls-like games, so rolling to dodge was absolutely the second nature to me.
Genshin is really monotonous in this aspect: no skill involved, just pure numbers gained by tons of money/even bigger tons of effort due to the developers' stinginess. New characters and locations, cool. I don't really care, never was a fan of genshin plot. Gameplay is much more important for me, and in this aspect WuWa is just superior, you have to agree. Also, there is no Paimon (annoying shit). Sprint doesn't consume stamina, thank god! Genshin is an okay game still, but its strong points are not that attractive to me, while weak points are really glaring. After playing WuWa for a while and going back to Genshin, my eyes literally hurt because of how bright and rainbowish it seemed.
All in all, Genshin was good, but there is no engaging content for a good while and for me WuWa is much better. While there is place for comparison, we should also evaluate games separately, as liking WuWa just due to hating Genshin is kind of dumb. I enjoy the game and sincerely hope you can find something that suits you well. Have a nice day!
I wish people would stop being salty about genshin and more happey and hyped about wuwa. The idea of people liking wuwa mainly because they hate genshin seems like the bigest reason why wuwa is gett8ng love.
wuwa is clearly inspired of genshin , so thats unavoidable. and wuwa is profiting HUGELY from this too, since genshin simply refuses to improve the game on many aspects - and wuwa clearly does deliver on these aspects genshin is lacking. (3 endgame modes already on day 1 yoo.. ) i think this genshin hate is definetly justified & also some players will find redemption through playin wuwa, maybe even find peace through that lol. like i can see someone just to start play wuwa just to feel like " take this genshin". and hopefully kuro games can turn these players into fans, by makin a good game.
@@kydroOf course there are things to criticize of genshin, but it feels childish how those kind of people can’t talk about WuWa without talking about the bad things about Genshin, it’s exhausting, like, just enjoy the game you prefer and leave it at that!
Salty about garbage game? Shut up
@@ziebus904 That’s exactly what the comment is talking about, stop being so toxic and just play what you like.

I actually really like dehya!
I really really really loved Genshin, but it's been a few months since I decided to stop playing the game, felt like the huge amount off time I invested was for nothing, specially after the last aniversary events with all the drama and no answer and signs off improvement from Hoyo. I'm super excited for Wuwa, I can't wait anymooooooore!!
one thing that made me play this game, the MC ROVER can solo the high level Hologram even your character 15 level below it, and you don't need certain character in order to make your current character you already have to shine or finish game faster. This game is basically depend on your skill.
If you former player of BOTW and can defeat lynel than this game is not hard for you
Lynel fight was the best fight in that game next to the golem because climbing for weak Spot lol
Idk how, but I read that as climbing is for the weak instead of climbing for the weak and was very confused 😭😭😭@@galaadedominus3436

That advice abt not ruining the experience on day one is true. When Genshin first came out, it wasn't THAT big. Heck, I started it on release and I remember how their socmed posts can only garner 500-5k likes at most. I started the game in 2020 w/o knowing what to expect and that's what made me love the game (Now I quit bc of storage and burnout). But yeah, just a two cents.
100%. i started on release date, without watching any guide or even beta videos. i only saw the trailer - wich 4 sure greatly improved my experience. i gotta also say, that now almost 4 years later, i think youtube meta has also drasticly changed - like people just wanna know what they get themselves into before even starting the game - and even have a "day 1 plan & schedule " etc. I guess being efficient is prolly gettin more important nowadays than just having fun and experiencing it for urself
Genshin got complacent and comfortable. I love Genshin but i cant wait to play Wuthering Waves and see how it makes Hoyo up their game. (Hopefully).

you're so right - genshin hasn't learned it's lesson with how it treats it's playerbase by refusing to acknowledge and correct issues and disappointment.
but with the release of wuthering waves, it will for sure without a doubt. competition is bliss; genshin has been a monopoly for nearly 4 years, but that is about to change.
genshin had no reason to change anything beforehand because they knew their delusional die-hard playerbase was going to continue to praise them but i foresee a lot of players diverting their attention to this new shiny toy that is wuthering waves. i started playing genshin nearly 4 years ago and this god awful company has not piqued my interest with an update in years. i'm looking forward to a new similar game with competent developers and direction.
wait for release first before thinking wuthering wave will be a huge success
Playing wuwa, definitely. Been following it since its inception while playing PGR. If it works out then I don't mind supporting kuro games with my money cause i'm getting a decent game in turn
Coop endgame in Genshin seems like the WORST idea I hope it never comes out
-Casuals will ruin your team and die instantly anyway
-Metaslaves will bully you if you don't pick a meta character with the best build, I have warframe flashbacks
At least one of these two will show up in your 4-man party, every single time
Why do you think min/maxing ruins the experience? Some players prefer that. It's both okay to play it fresh or play it strategically. There's no right or wrong ways to play a game. It's all about preference. Personally, I like to min/max at start to have a good account structure to move forward and that's not in anyway will ruin my personal experience because I prefer it. If you prefer to have a fresh experience, that's good you can do that but stop saying it will ruin other peoples experience.
Genshin be like - Learn our lesson? What lesson?
Considering genshin prioritizes updates for teapot, TCG, and other mini-games over improving combat experience, we know where their focus is. Also, people should really stop limiting games to either hardcore or casual. A good game has a balance of *both* content. Just look at Pokemon. It is aimed for kids but it has hardcore elements you can challenge yourself with.
A good game should be easy to get into but hard to master. That makes it rewarding to play.
I csnt even clear for 12 and u say this new game is the hardcore node .....i dont think i will keep playing it for long if that is true
I hope their supporting system would better than Genshin because my account got hacked even if I had 2 types of authentication and they did nothing that hacker putted my account on sale and I sent the screenshots to mihoyo and they did nothing again, the hacker deleted all my 5 star accounts and use cheated primogem so now I have -30k primogems. I can understand that they cant give the weapons, they have power to do anyway, but they can fix my primogems. I dont want them to make my currency 30k just get rid of that - because I cant gain anything. Even I get my account back, its unplayable now.
I already uninstall my genshin after getting jean for after 3 yrs lol I want to try arle but I lose 50/50 on hard pity haha, but it doesn't matter to me cuz I already decided to leave genshin before wuwa comes out

I dont think what you mentiened as negative things about genshin will be resolved and be better in WW, they will follow in genshin footsteps so they can try to succeed like them, many of things you mentioned about genshin are things they never comes when a game gets released , they take lots of time to develop and hone, so don't be disappointed when WW drops and finds many things you expect are not there or just bad. It will take them time
For sure gona play i need get Yinlin i go down bad for she like for eula when she come first time in game back in the day
this game is such a joke, and these content creators are clown
myself i will play wuwa for 6 months at least for the test only after that i will make my choice if it deserve my time or not
They won't. Genshin caters to very casual players, WuWa caters to hardcore players. Casuals already dislike farming and don't care about endgame and Abyss. Casuals really won't like constantly grinding the same boss with decreasing drop rates the more you fight it in the same day.
WuWa will take the Genshin players that want grinding and Souls like combat. But that's a small portion. The only way a game will give Genshin direct competition to make Hoyo change is if its an open world that targets that exact level of Genshin.
Genshin also was meant to just be a mobile centric on the go game with a 10 year plan. 3 1/2 years in and they're implementing more things they discussed 2 years ago.

I'm new to HSR ( i used to play Genshin until 4.5 came out) and i could use some Advice. If Wuthering Waves comes on PS5, i'll have aside Honkai Star Rail a other Game to play, too. And well, from what i can tell WuWa will probably also have a 6 Week Update Cycle. And this is always two Weeks after HSR got one. That's my Guess. So, with that there will be 3 Games i have to focus on with two of them being Gacha Games. And with my Job, i'll have mostly time for only 2 Games a Day with HSR as a Side-Game and considering that i'm now done with the Main Story i can do the Side-Quests, too before WuWa comes on PS5. Of which i'll most likely spend more time with until i caught up with the Story Content that the Game has so fat. And well, that's i have to make a Plan when the best Time is for me to play my Main-Games. Can someone help me with some Advice about that?
personally, i'll be taking a break from HSR and/or Genshin or maybe just give them less time since i am also playing all three games. so i wanted to give myself a break from atleast one to prevent burnout which is the biggest reason i wont be as active on both. Advice would be maybe do what i am doing but with just Genshin since, (though im not sure on this) this current update will be less filled with content/events and can be used as a breather from it. Hope this helps !
@@peachyy1871 The Thing is when WuWa comes later on PS5 there's alot of Story Content i might have to catch up with. And considering that WuWa comes two Weeks later than HSR Update 2.2, that's mostly likely the gonna be the Update Cycle of the Game. Sure, after 2.2 drops there's probably no big Main-Story Content until 3.0. Still, that makes me wonder if i'll be able to play two Gacha Games and one regular Game at the same time, even with the Auto Battle in HSR to speed Farming Things up.
@@sekirothegreatshinobi2332 thats why im taking a break off both Genshin and HSR, though i will be playing up until launch of WuWa. i dont think i can juggle all three with being a college student hahaha. but since there hasnt been an announcement on console for WuWa theres time to complete any story quest or events that come out inbetween the time of the update and console release
@@peachyy1871 I see. You know, from what i saw the Stamina System in WuWa isn't tied to the Echo System, which are basically the Artifacts or Relics in this Game. And you can farm the as much as you like. Which is nice, tbh. So, there's a Reason to keep playing this Game aside the Story and Events, that allows you explore the World more.
@@sekirothegreatshinobi2332 exactly one of the reasons why i want to focus on this new fresh game 😁. Though there is an issue with the enemies, being that they are really spread out and the map can feel empty. So i hope they fixed this when the game releases !

🗿
it amazes me how everyone is saying WW listens to its players ...the game is literally in beta it would be stupid of them not to listen to players ...the main question is how will they react after the game is out to the mases.
I would also say don't go into WW expecting a Genshin experience but than again it pretty much copied 70% of it if not + so i can understand it.
My problem would be if you copy another game and you cant even improve on it ...because tbh i really don't see the improvement...well the game is still not out so i guess they still have to show what they got.
they are not saying ww is listening to players they are saying kuro is listening to their players as they have a proven track record of doing so with pgr and also fyi hoyo did not listen to any of the complaints for zzz from its beta nor for genshins. also kuro if players want a better design for characters they will change them meanwhile hoyo does whatever hoyo wants to do aka censor characters while kuro goes the opposite route. people also praise kuro for the transparency which hoyo has never ever done also ww did not copy 70+% of genshin experience lol. the combat, world, char designs, exploration etc are very very different

They are going to try to do the things that genshin doesn't and fail. This type of things alway happen with copycats games.
By ur definition genshin will fail because it's literally a botw clone, why not let the 2 coexist so genshin can be better and vice versa, the more they one up each other the more we'll be satisfied, it's like getting two cakes

@@amari7782 No, new players will feel forced to rush to the endgame. You understand that this is gacha game that we're talking about right? Not mmo. The reward for playing the endgame is surely the currency that's used to pull characters. So who would want to miss that?
