  • Our MSC Japan cruise is coming to an end but we still have a day left in Keelung so we decide to head out to the Night Markets - yes, they are open in the day also. These are food markets and just as busy during the day as they are at night.
After an eye opening walk around the markets we head off to Taipei for our journey home.

The flight was surprisingly good and because of the timing and very little time zone changes it worked really well. It was a fantastic trip but it's always good to be back home when it's over. Next adventure is the 80c cruise with the girls on Saturday.

Hi Rob and Ali. Love your videos as always. This reminded me of my time in Taiwan (Taichung). I remember hearing music that sounded like it was coming from an ice cream truck but it was coming from the garbage truck. And that is what I could hear at 4.35 min into this video. Thank you for bringing back old memories.

Hi Benjamin, thanks for the comment. Given where we were it could very well have been a garbage truck.

Hi Guys, thanks for the videos of you Japan cruise. I just wanted to pint out that the dessert you thought were toffee apples or tomatoes, they are called hawthorn's or haws for short. What they actually are a custard filled donut dipped in toffee. I'm gluten intolerant so couldn't try them but I'm told they are delicious. Keep up the great work. All the best.

Hi Guys! So great to see you are still travelling. THANK YOU for using 'disembarkation', rather than 'debarking'' as so many people say!!! OMG! 🤣

Thanks. Debarking, I know? Where did that come from? It seems to be the popular word these days but it's still disembarkation to us :-)
