How to create seamless terrazzo patterns in Illustrator

In this tutorial, I want to show you how easy it is to make seamless terrazzo pattern in Adobe Illustrator using the Pattern tool.

This is a great tutorial, thank you too much! Just a quick question. Why do you save the pattern as a jpg? Is the swatch un-editable in the future if it is saved like this?

Glad you like it! I usually send JPEGS to my clients because they won't be be able to edit the original files and because they are compatible with any design software. Also, many printers use JPEGS.

Hi! nice tutorial. I have a question though. When you start there is a square in you artboard. is it a square you put there manually or it already appeared when you created your artboard? i created a 6inch by 6 inch artboard. So i use the full artboard to make the tiles?
