Cutter Richard Etheridge underway for the first time

This trip for Cutter Richard Etheridge was a transit from Grand Isle, La., to Port Fourchon, La., for a planned drydocking between builder's trials and preliminary acceptance trials. It was the first opportunity for Richard Etherdige's crew to ride the cutter; 6 crew members were on board as the cutter has not yet been delivered to the Coast Guard and is operated by a crew of Bollinger employees.
The video is compiled of more than 7400 wide-angle still photos taken at 2-second intervals by a GoPro HD Hero2 camera mounted to the mast beneath the primary radar.
