Love your videos. I was driving the red truck at the end of the video and my 2 sisters were on the passenger side. I’m so grateful the bulls didn’t hit my truck 😮 it was an amazing evening watching the bison in Yellowstone. Its a memory that will be with us for the rest of our lives.
Bison fights during rut are quite rare to witness and you all seemed remarkably calm after the fact, despite the proximity to your truck. Brave ladies! A Yellowstone moment I imagine you will recall for years to come. How fortunate the bison stayed clear of your truck and the other vehicles stopped by all the behemoths running helter skelter across the road. Whew! Delighted you drove off unscathed. Enjoy your vacation and stay safe!
I see your point, but terrifying as you see 2 tons of angry bison rapidly swinging their massive heads and bodies just feet away from our vehicles. A different perspective than watching online. Glad to hear from viewers, thanks for watching.
I saw two more bulls fighting yesterday morning and one kept his tail straight up while the other did not. Fairly lengthy fight. Thanks for commenting.
Be- The thrill of the chase. I photographed two bulls (in fence) fighting down towards Jackson. We drove back through about an hour later and they were still pressing their heads together. Did anything ever eat the dead bison by Pelican creek? I've been trying to photograph bucks in velvet more recently. There's one with an odd antler that I am trying to photograph.
Determined bull elk in that instance. That carcass on Pelican Creek was actually hollowed out from underneath before I saw it. Only an early May photographer saw wolves early one morning near it in Pelican Bay. It baffled lots of us appearing not to have been utilized, but a Fishing Bridge employee said it was just left in that upright position after being eaten. Fooled me. I was looking at a bull elk with now massive antlers yesterday, thinking how majestic he looks. Best wishes with your footage.
Imagine hearing that sound (like a rusty motor) and there are people STUPID enough to think “that sounds happy, look at them play! Oh, I must touch one”. It makes me wonder if humans really are the most evolved mammal.
these things are monsters. i bet the north americans wiped em out outta fear mainly. when they hit the shores of the usa and ran west, they prolly thought they met their nightmares with these things
It seems like more and more humans are loosing common sense especially around wild animals in these settings. What is happening to us? Is every place we go to considered an automated or virtual world, as though we’ve just entered an amusement park. This natural setting where the people are actually entering into an animals actual home and the humans are the guests, where the humans are there to show respect to the animals home environment and to the animals that live there. Are humans not able to do that any longer? What is happening to us. It seems that we can’t separated reality from the virtual. Is it just me or is there someone else out there that is seeing this too? Concerning!
Not too concerning with the first bull that the defending bull tussled with, but tearing after the 2nd challenger and fighting among vehicles definitely set off an adrenaline rush for some of us who were on scene. Perhaps you would have to be there.
@msmink1141 Hello, I am genuinely curious why you decided to view a bison rut, breeding season video if it isn't of interest to you? Or perhaps YT just rolled it into your queue and that's why you are annoyed. I would like to know if you have a moment to respond.

Thanks for responding. We were excited and traumatized all at the same time and left with a lifetime memory.
Thanks for sharing
That’s bison being bison, the visitors can leave
Love the bison.. from far away
This was not terrifying. Cool, but not terrifying.

@@bejudson13842000lb-2200lb not the 2Ton
@@paleggett1897I think he meant TWO bulls each weighing a ton.
If you have ever seen the damage two bulls in rutt can do, you would be concerned about them moving closer and closer to you
@@bejudson1384, been there done that, it's pretty cool to watch as long as you stay in your vehicle.
Of course that depends on how close you are to the action.
When Bison Bulls fight their tails go straight up in the air.. still I wouldn't like to be where they are playing. 2,200 lbs of bison each...

Last thing you want to see is a big bull bison pawing the ground!,
True indicator of aggressive mood. Thanks for the comment.

Breeding season is in full swing stay a good distance away from the males. And if Red dogs are present it's best to stay farther away.

Seriously, that is a frightening fight. Looks like some rutting.
Peak of rutting this week. Rough and tumble. Thanks for watching.
City people. I’m halfway through and haven’t seen a ‘fight’
Bulls being bulls....fighting for the right to “date” the pretty cows......hmmm.
Waiting for one of those smart tourist to get out of their car and pet the nice pet 🦬
CHALLENGE SIGNS need to be placed there.
I didnt know they coukd move that fast lolol

Interesting though, 4,000 pounds getting a bit testy.

Considering visitors were handing out food to the bears in Yellowstone in the 1950,s and 60's perhaps little has changed.
Title vastly overated the bison fight

They shouldnt allow visitors in the Park during Rut.

BUFFALO: Who's the BEST Bull? Person: Im stupid. Let's F'ing go. 😂🦬
