I really like your tone. I find a specific difficulty in your right hand technique, very similar to the so called Benson picking: preventing the strings from generating unwanted sounds due to the inability to use the right hand for muting. I would be very curious to know what solution you have found. Thank you. Fabrizio

Hi Andreas, very good playing and demo! Can you tell me if your tone control was all the way down on this vid?Dis you try the lgb30?Can you have this tone with her? Best regards
+Nicolas Cornet Hi Nicolas, i usually put the tone control way back but not full. There is a sweet spot for a dark sound with just enough contour to be transparent. This comes from the interaction between the used pick, tone control and amp or preamp. The LGB30 ist also very nice, is has the same pickups, the acoustic sound is a bit more dry and woody. So the dynamics and playing feel is different, but you shuld be able to get a similar dark jazz sound. - Andreas
Is this the true color of the guitar or is it just the lighting? I own one and have seen a few, but never with the finish this dark and caramel-like... I want one like this!

Maybe I'll try to add some jazz licks to my playing but blues/rock is 70% of what I play (I already have solid bodies and am looking for different tones). Thanks!
Fred D. Hi Fred, i didn't really try it with crunch sounds because i have thick flatwound jazz strings on it. With other strings - maybe. But for blues-rock i would prefer a 335-type guitar. - Andreas
