I’ve long been critical of Brendan in Europe at Celtic and Liverpool for that matter highlighted his reluctance to alter his approach against the quality in there. Well last night was confirmation he’s finally cracked the riddle as a Manager and turned a very long way,drawn out corner. Fair play to him because that was a magnificent display of courage and ability from the entire team. His signings have come good ,so good in fact that no team in Scotland will live with use playing like that. The way we took it to Leipzig was a joy to watch ,sure they had a wee spell after scoring but that was always going to be the case Celtic not only nullified it but actually went through a few more gears to cancel it out. I felt when the draw was made that 10 points was attainable,well it’s now possible to surpass that. What a night. Thank you Brendan 🤜🏼💚🤛🏼
It's certainly one of our best performances in the last 15-20 years. Beating Barcelona in 2012 for example, was a bigger result but the actual performance on the night was "backs to the wall" with Fraser Forster having one of the games of his life etc.... In terms of the complete package of result AND performance, last night was one of the best in a long long time against a team from a "big 5" league Reminded me of Lyon in 2003 when we met them in the CL. Lyon were an extremely good side back then and we comfortably beat them 2-0

Any players still at Celtic are good players who will improve under Brendan. Yang almost scored a worldie after some passing and trickery. Every sub is a valuable squad player. Never get on any players back. Thats what Kuhn was saying in his goal celebration.
Celtic went into the final in Lisbon with the perfect attitude and preparation and won. They went into the final in Milan with the wrong attitude and preparation and lost. Fans need to stay grounded as well as the players.
