@@UK-Blue just finished her heat cycle, that’s always interesting🤣. She’s 6-1/2 this week. Still very active but more discerning on when to chase!! 🤠
Weather here has been 90+ for a month now that limits our hiking but she stays busy guarding/ hunting our ducks 🦆 Lollll. I’m still waiting for egg production. I’m told it might be as long as December, might be never if they’re boys🤣🤣
Doesn’t matter if they are boys. I found a place that you can order just girls so we’ll cross that bridge next year. If it weren’t for these pets life would be dull. They both leave me no choice to get off the couch and remain active.
Lauren (daughter) keeps telling me they’re looking for a large piece of property to move off the grid on. If it happens in my lifetimeI’m going with them. Too old to go by myself 😜Ahahahaha. I looked into RV lifestyle but I’m more of a stable being…too many chances of running into less desirable individuals 🤠
Anyway We’re blessed here with the back 80 acres so I remain content. Hopefully you’re well and have found a few nuggets this year. That’s always a bonus. The county we live in is full of nuggets. NC used to be the place to “hunt” before the 1849 gold rush in California. If you pan daily you can still make a living here. You just have to get owner permission by making agreements.
