Imo Precious has to play, we need his speed against this team.
If Thibodeau does not expand his rotation to include Achiuwa to deal with Indiana's shooting big men and just stick with the same 7-player rotation, they're not going to win the series with the Pacers.

Burks needs to play a few minutes per game this series.
nah, he's too much of a wildcard at best and we can't afford to be experimenting with our guard rotations at this point.

Hell I would even give Sims some minutes with him being 6’10 and athletic with 6 fouls to give . 😂 Sims is a strong rebounder and can play defense outside the perimeter .

Burks should get some time in the rotation and give a few of the starters a breather in this Indy series . Burks will give you 6-10pts off the bench if in the right situation.

It's time to let Precious get some run. I haven't completely given up on Burks I think he was pushing a little to prove himself. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets some run because of the athleticism of the Pacers
The fact that we even had to question it already speaks volume, yes we have to expand the rotation. Precious needs to be out there, not more so for the scoring part but defense wise I love him, second whether people wanna hear it or not Burks has to have an attempt, ik he’s inconsistent I get it but we need him to be with our best rotation for at least 3-5 mins if Donte doesn’t do anything on a game. Just to see how he can keep up with the rotation and see if he can at least contribute to some scoring. Our guards will get tired bc keep in mind, if we beat the Pacers we have to most likely play the Celtics and we need depth and health for that series to advance to the finals

I would expand about 2 and a half players versus Indiana. Pull those 2 players to the side and explain to them they are highly specific hitmen. I need 6 rebounds 2 blocks 6 points 3 deflections in 15 mins from each player.
6 rebounds, 6 points, 2 blocks, and 3 deflections, in an eight man rotation, every 15 minutes, breaks down to 153.6 rebounds, 153.6 points, 102.4 blocks, and 76.8 deflections, pendejo...I can't believe you made me do all that math just to insult you pinche wey

They absolutely HAVE to do this or we won't have the gas to chase the Pacers around for 5 or 6 games. That team is young and they run the floor. Thibs will run these guys into the ground if he doesn't start to get something out of his bench.
The only way the Pacers can run the way they want to is if they control rebounding, which I don't see happening. So I think that aspect is a little overblown
@dreshaft perhaps and playoff ball is a little slower and more half court. One thing about these guys as well is that they don't have the hustle like we do. Let's see how it plays out

@@WaveRider1989 The injuries are a big problem. I think the Knicks need to go all in to win game 3. The Pacers seem weak doing alot of complaining. If they go down 3-0, it would crush them
YES. 1) The rotation was already too short. Then Bogey got injured. And instead of adding Burks, he put those mins on already overwhelmed starters.
2)Also Precious was good enough to play the entire 4th quarter in I think Game 5. Then cant even get 5-7 mins in Game 6?
3) It's hard for Mitch to guard Myles Turner. Turner can hit the 3, and Mitch tends to struggle more when he has to come way out and shuffle his feet. Precious is way better at sliding than Hartenstein & Mitch
Yes he needs to expand the rotation. It was almost a 6 man rotation the last game. he gave Mcbride only 9 minutes of playing time. The Knicks won which is good but Thibs limited use of the bench is ridiculously. You can't continuously play 4 guys 43-48 minutes

Yes absolutely. The bench makes a big difference, especially in a long playoff series. You can't wear out your starters. I think this series could go to a full 7 games. Knicks in 7

It was a 8 man rotation with Bojan and it was perfect so he should get one of them in there to buy minutes/fouls etc
Thibs definitely need’s to expand the rotation with precious and possible expand Burks. Play Precious at least 15 min and Burks at least 9 min a game.

Can you address this: Brunson has the ball at top of the key, they keep sending the only other play maker to the corner to just stand there (Duece / Diven)
Hart ends up doing pick and hand off, but Hart cannot create his own shot... Next thing it's a scramble, Brunson gets the ball back w 6 seconds on shot clock n has to do something incredible.

You can't criticize Thibs, but, Precious has proven to be the only Knick that plays mistake free ball with 2 minutes on the clock...bottom line is if your squad does not have Precious playing it is because you are the 85' Celtics...Precious starts for the Nuggets and Thunder, and the Knicks supposed worst player is most teams best player///so get reelz sensameelz...Da' Bricks are goin' all da' way...Forever!!!

Precious is in the rotation next series, and if needed Thibs will go Jacob Toppin! Might even give Jericho Sims for a couple of mins if Mitch and I Hart get in foul trouble.

I would say keep everything the same and bring players off the bench. Follow the gameplan and if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Precious for sure when OG or Hart need a breather, but the backcourt needs 96 minutes and there is zero need for Burks with those 3.

If your a defensive liability, your not going to see the court at all under Thibs. Aside from Precious , the only other player that might see action is Shake Milton and even that’s a long shot

Thibs won’t play more than the same 8 players at all and if 7 is competing or winning you won’t see Precious unless Hart or OG have trouble with a power forward and I don’t mean Obi which both can cover
Playing Precious would give them an 8 man rotation. McBride and Robinson give them 7 so add Precious gives them 8

Pacers Averaged 113pts against the BUCKS in the Playoffs. Had it not been for the 2 Terrible games at 94 and 92 Pacers would have averaged 120 Plus. How did the Pacers not play fast against the Bucks? Knicks CANNOT win with a 6-man rotation against the PACERS. PERIOD. Knicks are playing against a team that AVERAGES nearly 30 points a quarter with an 8-man rotation where 5-6 guys score double digits a game. Brunson will get his 40PTS but who is the next guy up. OG and Pascal will cancel each other out and Turner will average about 20 and Hali will average about 20pts &15 assist this series also. Who is the next guy. Losing BOGI was the worst thing to happen to the Knicks IMO, especially against the PACERS.
