My FOTD so far. I’m doing a list and this is just sensational. Letting ya’ll know this is an all time hidden gem classic that’s happened just within the past couple of years. Very few fights are as violent as this, enjoy.
Btw, the list for me is now 1. Vargas-Salido 2. Bradley-Provodnikov 3. Berchelt-Vargas 1 And will continue for a while. Sooo many good fights. Just about to review Marquez-Concepcion 1 and Fonfara-Cleverly, both were sensational on my first watch.
@@den20dgo it was Loma who ducked Berchelt by leaving the 130 division and now considering fighting kids like Tank. After Salido, I can see why Loma doesn't want any smoke with Berchelt
@@edgarez6057 You're funny. Berchelt was talking about Loma only when either of them already had a fight scheduled. When Loma was free, wanting unification Alacran hid in the sand. Loma doesn't wait for anyone, so he went up for bigger and better things. Berchelt had 1 proper fight in 3 years vs Roman, all the others are washed up (Sosa, Bandido remach, Barros) or worse (Awuku, Valenzuela). Orlando ''dirty'' Salido came in overweight and punched him in the balls 15 times and still almost got KO'd in the 12th. That's the only way he can be a match to a quality opponent, using every dirty trick in the book (and he knows them all). Mickey Roman (a true warrior) gave him what he deserved.
Miguel canto, Freddy castillo, Guty espadas, Guadalupe Madera, Juan Herrera Berchelt and more. The yucatecan school box is real. Oscar de la Hoya had that technique but decided otherwhise!

den20dgo does that really make sense to you? He wanted nothing to do with him at 126 but once he went to 130, rigo was like “ yeah, NOW I’m gonna fuck him up” 😂
@@roncon1180 Haven't seen this, or I'd respond earlier. It doesn't make sense, but it is what it is. Don't get fooled, these weights were meaningless, it was only about the money. Earlier, Rigo was still popular and was earning well, so he wanted even more and wasn't gonna risk it. As time went on after beating Donaire, he didn't have big fights and it became obviouse how boring he is, so his purses dropped. He made 120k for his last fight before Loma (400k in that one). No big names wanted him because they thought they'd lose and couldn't even cash out because Rigo doesn't bring any cash to the table. I saw Rigo interviewed in 2015...all I could understand in spanish while talking about Loma was campeon olimpico and dinero. Loma wanted Rigo or any other big name at 126 as long as he was the champ. When he moved up, he had new sights in 130 champs and didn't want to look back. Same thing when moving up to 135, he was tired of calling out Berchelt, who just like groundhog Russell talked about him only when he already had a fight lined up. I think they both wanted the fight, but Rigo asked for too much, and old bastard Bob didn't want to pay it for a boring guy. Later RIgo had to accept the fight because he became desperate for a good payday. Similair thing happened with Salido rematch (asked for 1m$) and almost with Lopez, who even got Loma's cut because he (this time) was desperate for that last IBF piece he was missing. Only reason fights don't get made is money.
los mexicanos son guerreros mi respeto para los 2 lluvia de bendiciones y felicidades para el ganador
I miss HBO boxing and these commentators. And this fight makes it all the better! Vargas a real warrior, Berchelt very skilled and well rounded.

Yeah, the featherweight division a few years ago was really popping, looking forward to seeing Berchelt v. Valdez

Andrea Rodrigue hola. Quieres ser mi amiga. Saludos desde El Paso texas
I remember watching berchelt when he was fighting in Cancun or Merida. Way before being known. I knew he was special then.
These guys were going crazy on each other but Berchelt punished him for exchaning
I want to see Berchelt vs Tank
They both sidestep the toughest opponents. Berchelt didn't want to fight Loma, while Tank wants nothing to do with any top 10 guy.

That would be a damn good fight.

Vargas took a hellacious beating...😐
Buena pelea ....... El referi muy profecional ,,, estuvo al pendiente todo el tiempo
Eso son pelea de verda
yes I want to see #2
Gran boxeador el bandido Vargas.. Que tiraba y tiraba golpes, pero parecía no causar ningún daño a berchel..
Doc needs to be ashamed of himself.
Ashamed of that haircut too😂
When Lomachenko unifies 135 he says he is coming back down to 130 to unify that division....Berchelt has no chance
Yup
Maybe, but Berchelt has two hands too.
Berchelt doesnt hit soft

Rehydrated to 144 and 142 for a fight at 130, but the complain about Tanks weight
How do they even do that? Isn’t it same day weigh ins
@@fightwithfire18 For the IBF they have one where you cant weigh more then 10 pounds.
unless its a Unification fight the IBF dont do it.
We complain about Tank’s weight because he MISSES weight. Berchelt has not and does not. A true professional.
Because Tank don’t even try to make weight!
Este berchel no se ve a teofimo hay ser sincero
Loma isn't fighting these guys, WHY he's the matrix right
Because loma is at 135 and theyre at 130
