I AM is literally the definition of the perfect kpop song. and should have won SOTY. But that was the first kpop song I'd ever heard. and it got me hooked

The fireworks are real. The girls were told they had to nail that part on the first shoot because they weren't doing it again. I'm so glad you actually realized that, and understood the difficulty in doing that once and getting it perfect.
OMG first of all i am happy that a new genuine reactor has joined our kpop reaction community, i literally watched this episode from the A to the Z, and it didn’t felt like an hour at all, I was smiling most of the times and happy because you’re checking out THESE QUEENS, thanks for choosing ive as one if the first group msg to react to in your channel!
Ive are in my top 3 kpop groups of all time and thats the case for most people too, although they are not coming from a very bug company like SM ENTERTAINMENT, YG ENTERTAINMENT, JYP ENTERTAINMENT or HYBE LABELS but they made it to become one of the few groups leading the 4th generation of kpop, ive are very well known till now by their strong discography among all the 4th gen groups, they literally have no skip song, not even the non promoted songs of the albums/mini albums.. they release bangers every single comeback, ive are known of their signature which is the climax of the outro of the song and mv, it’s always a party visually but also sonically.. the pink hair girl is my bias (along with liz the main vocalist) which made the reaction ever more enjoyable, she’s rei, the inly japanese member and she’s so so soo adorable like she doesn’t have a single controversy surrounding her or even a thing that she has done being problematic.. if you watched more content of ive you’ll love her even more, people don’t even stan ive and they immediately love her or follow her on ig.. she’s the definition of loveliness she’s so bubbly and joyful..

the hilarious thing is that the original lyric for Kitch is actually "B*tch", but obviously it's too explicit so they changed it to Kitch instead, this is also the reason why you hear a swear word censor sound effect in the chorus when they say the first "kitch"

I love IVE. I love their music. Their music is iconic. Their discography is flawless. Their title tracks and B-SIDES are really good. Their MVs are top-tier.
Ive is really great. As for Iz*One they really introduced the world to some amazing performers. Not just in Ive but in general.
In Ive we have Yujin and Wonyoung who really took what they learned previously and seriously leveled up their skills. Starship isn't the greatest company to be honest, but they recognized Wonyoung's singing voice had a very nice lower register she couldn't showcase previously. Also Yujin is a fantastic leader, she really learned a lot from her seniors and is putting it to good use.
As for the rest of Iz*One's members:
You may know Le Sserafim members Chaewon and Sakura. Also a great group to check out. They have a very different style from Ive but they're basically their main competition and for good reason!
The rest of the members are:
Eunbi: Soloist and doing very well. Former leader of Iz*one.
Yena: Soloist, great soloist and also doing great. Cute and hilarious. Used to be main rapper.
Yuri: Soloist, used to be their main vocal and it shows. Also dabbling in acting (Squid Game season 2!)
Chaeyon: Main dancer but fantastic voice too and is a soloist. Took a while to get off the ground but she's doing good now. (Her younger sister Chaeryeong is in Itzy)
Hyewon: Mainly modeling these days but she will sing and dance at fan events still.
Minju: Same as Hyewon with some acting.
Hitomi: Japanese member, continued Idol activities in Japan with AKB48 until this month. Will be taking a break but she does a bit of everything. Great dancer and cute singing voice.
Nako: Shortest member (149cm, 150cm on a good day lol) Good dancer and surprisingly powerful voice for such a tiny girl. She stopped idol activities since last year and is moving more into acting.
After Like: They really had a kind of miracle with the fireworks. Not only did they not have the budget to really do it more than a very few times, the fireworks turned out to be so loud they couldn't hear the music to dance to it. Somehow they pulled it off perfectly on the first take!
Kitsch: So rumour has it (it really isn't confirmed anywhere I think) but the original lyrics were 90's bitch. Starship didn't want Ive swearing so they changed the lyrics... allegedly. Also for this song and most of their others, Rei and Gaeul write their own rap lyrics!
I also really like Rei, she's actually got a very strange way of thinking in general but is still very sweet and cute... but she's got a savage sense of humor too lol. She's not scared of comedians on variety shows and really gets them good sometimes.

IVE have a couple shorts and making the MV on their channel where you can see (and hear) the fireworks in the After Like MV.
REI (pink hair) is cute, wholesome, kind, funny, straight forward, and savage, as a bonus she has one of the best giggle laughs.
If you're interested in their personalities, I'd recommend their reality show 1,2,3 IVE on their YT channel (now in season 4)
IVE is such an amazing group both in terms of music and the members.
My favorite song from them is definitely I AM!!! Its one of my favorite songs ever as it hits all the boxes for me as an epic, grand, exciting, emotional,nostalgic and catchy song.
Their bsides are amazing as well! The "I'VE IVE" full album that came with I AM is a masterpiece.

IVE is one of the workhorse of 4th gen gg. They have incredible music production. Liz stands out for me with her incredible vocals. If ur a fan of vocals u should definitely give aespa a shot. They're vocally stacked. U definitely wont be disappointed

Rei (your favorite) has a solo variety show called Follow Rei. Just search the title and it had its own RUclips channel. First season is mostly her visiting cafes and handicrafts, but the second season is more fun and more experimental, and she even dabbles in some improv comedy

You are partly right. I Will Survive is older and Supreme by Robbie Williams sampled the song. But IVE actually sampled Supreme's version, although I didn't notice that until I edited the video. You can even hear Robbie Williams voice a little bit on After LIKE.
Would love to see you react to IZ*ONE after this though... their legacy (songs, MVs, choreos etc) will never be forgotten.

Example:

I went to a school where I learned various forms of art. From drawing, sewing, clothing design, musical instruments, singing, video production to literature.
