That USB cable seems to be just a standard "mini-usb" one. Some of you guys may already have them from playstation 3 controllers in the past or if you have a canon DSLR then it uses the same cable
This is easy compared to what I’m trying to do & doesn’t seem like a big deal.& cheap. I’m trying to get my 1990s camcorder going. There’s this expensive adapter I have to buy,it’s frustrating.i have an old cord called a “FireWire” but no current computer accepts them now.
i have a dcr-sr45 and it only has a sony memory stick slot but for whatever model you are using i would look up a pdf of the model's manual to see if it supports sd card

This will only work if you have a purely digital(no digi8/miniDV) camcorder
