We hope to start activism with other local Non-Religious and Free Thinking groups to have this policy removed.
Thank you Joshua, it takes serious courage and conviction to do what you are doing. It is deeply appreciated.
Joshua, awesome comment. I commend you for standing up and speaking out. We have done the same in several cities where I live and, hopefully, have made an impact, if not on the government officials, the public listening. You have made a a great impression on at least some people.

Well done. Joshua Deaton, you are a warrior fighting for the rights of all the citizens of the United States of America. I thank you.
In solidarity with you, from Columbus, OH.

Thank you for representing non-believers, Josh. Atheists everywhere need to be heard.
In solidarity with you.
J. Reese, vice-president Washington State University Atheist Agnostic Student Group
Very, very well spoken.
Well said, Josh. Thanks.
Excellent. Good work and Good Luck. As a UNCW Grad I know how that area can be...
What made this even more important is Joshua suggests that the city goes back to what it always did. A moment of silence. There is no reason to add prayer where there was none. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
yes, way to go dude.
Well spoken.
Bravo!
Well said.
Awesome job, dude.
@doesmykeyboardwork
theres a time limit to speaking at most meetings like this. probably trying to stay under time
Well played. Very good arguments.
Good job.
Wanna place to pray? Aren't those called churches?
