Josh Deaton City Council Comment (18 May 2010)

On May 18th Joshua Deaton and three other members of the UNCG Atheists/Agnostics/Skeptics attended the Greensboro City Council Meeting to voice our opposition to the decision to include a prayer at the beginning of each meeting.

We hope to start activism with other local Non-Religious and Free Thinking groups to have this policy removed.

What made this even more important is Joshua suggests that the city goes back to what it always did. A moment of silence. There is no reason to add prayer where there was none. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
