I got overall 7.5. L-9, R-7.5, W-7, S-7. My advice to achieve good score is pure practice. I did 30 listening Practice test, 15 Reading Practice test, 10 Writing Practice, 25 Speaking Practice test under exam conditions. And then self evaluation. Keep it simple for speaking & writing. Try to narrate real life story for speaking Task-2. It will be easy to speak than on the spot brainstorming within 30-40 seconds.

thanks to your videos and tips, I got band 7.0 in IELTS lis&read 7.5, wri 7.0, spe 6.5. I was really confident to get band 7.0 in speaking but I was nervous, I did too much hesitation, so just got 6.5. However I was surprised with writing, I thought I just got 6.0 or 6.5 in wri because 80% i've learned writing by myself without tutor to correct my essays, I have learned for IELTS for 1 year and I wrote under 10 essays, 1 week before the exam, I started to learn the tips and most my time was for yours videos without any practice, I realized that simple essay is ok and I applied it in my first IELTS exam, I wrote a clear overview for task 1 and simple ideas, vocabularies, answering all questions and focusing on coherence for task 2, I did everything like your essay, I didn't really care about the suggestion of my tutor like high level vocab or complex ideas...😅. I finally got band 7 in writing, I was higher than I expected. Thank you so much, your tips and videos are so great and useful🥰😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏

I was given three days to prepare for an EPT (English Placement Test) in order to to be permitted to enter for a masters degree (online with a UK university). The minimum IELTS is band 6. Thank you for the videos. Passed with a IELTS band 7 and permitted to enrol. The band 7 also permitted me to enrol in another UK university. Thanks again.

Hello Mr. Chris. I've been teaching IELTS for over 20 years and I find your videos extremely helpful. Most of my students (I'm in Uzbekistan) come in with a high pre-intermediate or low-intermediate level of English. There are so many language centers here that promise a 7 or higher in 2 months. In your expert opinion, how long does a student need to study for IELTS in order to get a 7.5 or higher? Assuming 3 lessons a week, each lesson being 1 hr 20 m? Also assuming they put forth honest effort and do the work? I try to set the right expectation but the students or their parents want the magic wand or miracle pill.

Hello sir, i have a doubt. Whenever i practice from Cambridge books, i get good scores but doing any other difficult book just reduces my score. So would it be enough if I solely practice through cam books?

However I was surprised with writing, I thought I just got 6.0 or 6.5 in wri because 80% i've learned writing by myself without tutor to correct my essays, I have learned for IELTS for 1 year and I wrote under 10 essays, 1 week before the exam, I started to learn the tips and most my time was for yours videos without any practice, I realized that simple essay is ok and I applied it in my first IELTS exam, I wrote a clear overview for task 1 and simple ideas, vocabularies, answering all questions and focusing on coherence for task 2, I did everything like your essay, I didn't really care about the suggestion of my tutor like high level vocab or complex ideas...😅. I finally got band 7 in writing, I was higher than I expected. Thank you so much, your tips and videos are so great and useful🥰😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏

Imo I feel like it's so rare to have someone get 7 in writing, while having other bands less than 8 which in your case is quite interesting. 7 in writing not even simple

I was given three days to prepare for an EPT (English Placement Test) in order to to be permitted to enter for a masters degree (online with a UK university). The minimum IELTS is band 6. Thank you for the videos. Passed with a IELTS band 7 and permitted to enrol. The band 7 also permitted me to enrol in another UK university. Thanks again.

Hello Mr. Chris. I've been teaching IELTS for over 20 years and I find your videos extremely helpful. Most of my students (I'm in Uzbekistan) come in with a high pre-intermediate or low-intermediate level of English. There are so many language centers here that promise a 7 or higher in 2 months. In your expert opinion, how long does a student need to study for IELTS in order to get a 7.5 or higher? Assuming 3 lessons a week, each lesson being 1 hr 20 m? Also assuming they put forth honest effort and do the work? I try to set the right expectation but the students or their parents want the magic wand or miracle pill.

Hello sir, i have a doubt. Whenever i practice from Cambridge books, i get good scores but doing any other difficult book just reduces my score. So would it be enough if I solely practice through cam books?
