I am an older lady, playing a man in my first ever stage role. I was thrilled to find your post. Very realistic and not too heavy on the makeup which is just what my Director wants. What would make your post even more helpful would be if you showed the palette and which colour you are choosing each time. And yes, Daniel Radcliffe comes to mind! Cheers and thank you again.
I hope your show went well! I love participating in live theater! My goal is to teach more about highlights and shadows and the technique that can be used regardless of the brand of makeup rather than pushing a particular product. But I will keep that in mind for future posts!
I used this for the same reason! I'm playing a Male role in a production right now, but I just made everything a little less harsh because im supposed to be a little boy. A lot of people went up to me and said they thought I was a dude!
I'm just a masculine cis bisexual girl here looking for some male-structure make up techniques to add to my daily routine xD This transformation looked really good! I'm totally using that technique where you darkened the eye sockets on the sides of the nose to bring depth. I absolutely love how it looks.
That’s a good technique for ppl with “flatter” brow bones like those of Asian descent. (That’s not supposed to be offensive just trying to give an example to visualize). I have very deep eyes so I usually put highlighter or concealer their for daily feminine makeup. Everyone’s face is so different.
Oh my gosh! Gwyneth, your makeup tutorials are the best! Your mustache looks so real, if I didn't see you painting it on, I'd believe you needed to shave each morning. Haha. The only thing I would of liked to see added, was a male adam's apple. Although you are a beautiful, and feminine woman, I must say, you have the makeup skills to rock as a male!
@@GwynethPricePanos awesome tutorial, well done!!! I loved how you explained and showed the chart. For facial hair you could also use mascara on your peach fuzz
This…is about to help me so much more than you know. Thank you SO MUCH for this. I’m finally feeling ready to approach my masculine side and attempt this style of makeup.
im using this as guidance for playing damian (as a girl) in mean girls at my school. i was pretty lost after watching many videos but this one has helped the most, thanks so much!
First person to agree with me!!! I posted on Facebook none of my friends agreed about Daniel Radcliffe. It was all Jared Leto. I see some Tom H too. His eyes are a bit different but yes.
This is seriously absolutely awesome. The tutorial is so calm and in-depth without any of that annoyingness you see in videos from a lot of other people. the process and end result is fascinating, thank you so much!!
I discovered your “old lady” makeup tutorial and subscribed today! Your makeup tutorials are so helpful as I shoot my short comedy videos where all the characters (old lady, old man, man, etc) are played by...me! Thank you!
Thank you so much!!! I am nonbinary and I feel like my face is a little too feminine sometimes. Especially when I am wearing more feminine clothes, I want to balance my Look like my brain is balanced. So this will really help!!
this was really fun to learn from! I don’t know the first thing about makeup, contour, or literally anything. I used my eyeshadow palette cause I don’t have anything else. i think I’ll start learning the basics, and once I’m done with that I’ll definitely come back to this!
You can use a powder to contour cheekbones too. Use a cool toned bronzer and a blush brush. Good luck! Yes definitely save this video and come back to it. Or better yet, subscribe :)
This is so neat! I'm playing a cowboy in my school play and I know we don't have to do this type of makeup, but I think it would be fun to try out. This is super helpful thanks :D
aaah this is such a great tutorial, and it's not like you had a masculine face to begin with, your natural look is incredibly feminine, so this is all the more impressive, I'm definitely gonna use those tricks!
I think this is going to be useful when I do my first male makeup to be a mob boss for Halloween. I know they were mostly clean shaven but I may need a little stubble. The hardest part is dealing with my fat double chin. When I was thinner I definitely had a strong jaw - but that has been covered up in fleshiness. Just need to pull off the baby face round gangsta. Lol
Thank you for doing a masc makeup tutorial that didn't include a super dark beard and mustache!!! I'm working on a Vash the Stampede crossplay and struggling on the makeup side of it
Here there great job , it was my first time making my face into an ole washed up Hippee Biker for Halloween..well after watching your video 3x and contouring and adding highlights..it came out amazing , thx for that informational video..would love to send you a before an aft!..yup everybody loved it but, it was quintessentially for Halloween..lol
I used a variety of products. MUD (Makeup Designory) contour colors and makeup forever cream palette. I probably used some eyeliner as well. It’s more about matching color and technique than the specific products used.
when you did it you looked so good and really masculine! I tried it out on myself and send a picture through a celebrity face analysis test (basically a what-celebrity-do-you-look-like quiz) Can someone please explain who the heck Chris Colfer is? I am so confused...
You look amazing! Gives me young Charles Lee Ray from the Chucky tv show if you wanna check it out. If the hair is darkened and you have a blueish 5 o'clock shadow color, you'd fit. ^_^ ❤ Great tutorial!
This video was more about techniques than products. I used primarily MUD (Makeup Designory) highlight and contour cream colors. You can get similar results if you use a Mehron student kit in your skin tone (it comes in light, medium and dark, which keeps it simple)
Thank you so much. I'm nonbinary and was looking for a professional tutorial on masculine contouring. I can finally finish my young anime boy look ggshsgd Update - I am now living as a proud and accepted trans man :) still wanting to look like an anime boy lol
I'm not trans at all, but I think it'd be fun to play as a boy for a day. Well, maybe this could also be helpful if I wanna walk out at night (probably not).
FINALLY a masc makeup tutorial from someone who isn’t already androgynous! Super convincing! Excellent work 💯
As a genderfluid person I’ve never really seen how I look masculine so I’m going to do this and finally see my masculine side.
I'm watching this for the same reason 😭😭
Same
Saaame
As an enby I am just looking for ways to neutralise some of the “feminine” my face gives off.
I’m a trans guy who is kinda feminine and wants to pass, so this was super helpful
This has been the best masculinizing tutorial I’ve seen probably.
Wow thank you!
Jup
I accidentally disliked your comment, sorry😅
As transgender male this really helped me! Thanks! ✨🥰
Same it really helped me out asswell
you’re giving off masculine Ariel vibes with this and I’m loving it 😍
Hahaha!!! Love it!
You don’t know how helpful this is for a genderfluid person
So real
As a transgender person this is so useful. Thanks!
bruhh i was just scrolling through david gilmour pics when i saw this video

The most useful tutorial, thank you so much! I'm currently learning cosplay and I want to try some cool guy look, so that will help a lot
Thank you so much ! I was looking for videos explaining in details because I'm not good with make up and you did exactly what I was looking for !
I come here looking for how to do a realistic contour for my Eddie Munson cosplay and you straight up look like Dacre Montgomery
Damn. I wish I could do this. This is amazing! Good job
Genderfluid and love to cosplay. This video has been a huge help!

Cosplayer here. I do some guy characters so I needed the help to create the cheekbones and jawline. This was very helpful. Ty so much.
Jared Leto!!! And I love it! Thank you for posting.
It looks amazing. Ty so much for creating this look ❤
This is a great tutorial I keep coming back to when I want to drag up. Thanks for making it!
you look like hozier a little bit! great tutorial; im doing a patrick bateman costume for halloween and this will help a ton!
I'm going as my pfp for Halloween this year and the reference your using will be perfect. So glad I wont really have to think about it.
Thank you for this I'm transmasculine so this was very helpful for me. I've always been worried my face looks really feminine ❤
This is fantastic, thank you for your help! Can’t wait to try this for my stage man role.
Just a perfect transformation!!! Amaaazing job👍👍
From far away and close up I'd be convinced. Good job!
It's like michael jackson and kurt Cobain mixed also you did Michael's weird head thing at 0:32
I really see the Kurt Cobain influence through the eyes and chin
Beautiful genderbend make up! As a trans guy, I love this gender-benderness! Ah~
Btw I tried your contouring, it’s great. Still need more practices *^^*
Amazing tutorial. This makeup made you look like Jared Leto!
you are awesome mam
I am quite good with makeup but more elaborate facepaint and sfx but man this helps!
Add contour for an Adam's apple and that's perfect!

This is incredible! Really helpful video, thank you. 👍
Wow you are so smart! Thank you!
OMG SHE LOOKS **EXACTLY** LIKE JARED LETO-
I looked up this subject to cosplay a male character. This was so informative! You did a great job. And you do favor Daniel Radcliffe lol.
You are the first to agree with me!
@@GwynethPricePanos Second!
Thank you for not starting off with an all over foundation. I can never find a good color for my face so I don't use foundation
Thanks for a great tutorial! My first though when I saw the thumbnail of this video was : "Wow! She lloks a lot like Jared Leto!"😉👍
You look Jason Monas from Aquaman one of my favorite actors and he is good looking too .
What?! He is wasaay good looking!!! I’m shocked I can even come close to his manly beauty

Can someone please explain who the heck Chris Colfer is? I am so confused...
Did you look on Google? He’s famous from the tv show Glee.
Aizawa cosplay here i come!
I just wanna use this as reference so I can do sorta a dragking kinda thing… I indentify as female but I wanna give the masculine look a go
Oh wow! I want to cosplay as male characters, and this is excellent!
(Also, I think you kind of look like Hiddleston, esp in The Night Manager)
I’ll take it!
I ended up using this to play a male character on a zoom murder mystery. I won best costume. Thank you!!!
That’s so great!!! Congratulations on the win! I’m glad it was helpful
i've been cast as a male in my high school play, and this was super helpful!!
Grow a wiener. :)
Congratulations on being cast! Break a leg! I’m glad this was helpful :)
Chris Cornell is the first person I thought of when I saw the makeup.
eyebrow should cover more of the eye brow bone at the corner of the brow
To make them less arched? That makes sense. Thanks
Thank you for giving guidance to a struggling drag king 🙏
You look like LOKI 😀❤️
Idk if this counts but I thought of prince Adam from Beauty and the Beast. Great tutorial btw
Tx for this tutorial. I'm cosplaying a male knight tomorrow and this is going to be super helpful. Ps, I agree with Daniel Radcliffe 😉
HANDSOME🥺

I did this makeup multiple times and hey I'm still alive . lol 😭😭
I'm nb but same struggle lol I feel the pressure to pass as a man 😅

I was wondering what it felt like to go outside as man, without having to worry about being Harassed
Wtf dude
I'm a woman with a really round face, I'm going to try it to se if it's possible for me to cosplay a male character, thanks.
doing this to go on a walk at night and feel safe
this is so useful. thanks!!
I thought Daniel Radcliffe immediately!! Amazing job, thank you!
Oh so good
This is useful because I’m a guy that loves makeup but i think it makes you look more feminine so this would be good for me to counteract that
It's still missing some shadow under the eyebrow bag on the sides os the eye
You look like Hozier, wow!!!
Ooo la la nice! Thanks
