Never has there been a character played by the same actor for more than than 40 years. I believe that the first Rocky, Rocky Balboa, and Creed are all perfect movies. This is the greatest saga in cinematic history. ❤ I love your reactions ❤️
"Let me finish. I gotta prove it." "Prove what?" "I'm not a mistake." This is one of my favorite dialog exchanges in the Rocky/Creed cinematic universe. I saw this movie in theater, and you could almost feel the air leave the room. Like the wind got knocked out of everyone at the same time by that emotional gut punch.
Born and raised Philly chic! I love Creed! The first one introduces everyone and brings you in. The 2nd.... Wow! You are gonna love it!!!! So happy you are continuing....so beautiful is right! ❤
I dunno if you picked up on it because it's easy to miss, but the trainer that Donnie was talking to that said he wouldn't train him is Duke's son, who trained Rocky in 3, 4 and 6.
Aria: never apologize for how you feel or what you think. You made me laugh with the glasses remark. It was hilariously odd comparison. lol. I feel you younger generations put others first TOO much. Your feelings and opinions and comments are just as important as others. Remember, someone else's low self-esteem is THEIR issue, not yours. Trust me and my Gen X members,,living your life trying not to offend everybody is a lost cause. Your rights are not less than someone else. The right to free speech is guaranteed in our country (outside of yelling "fire!" in a movie theater). The way I see it, overly-sensitive people think we owe them their rights before our own and that is BS top level. In a court of law, I have precedents of 200 years backing my comments/free speech.. there is no law protecting hurt feelings or offendedness. Think about it: how can you possibly know what offends the other 338 million people in our country. Trying to live your life like that stunts growth on all levels. I'm proud as a peacock that I say what I believe and don't apologize for hurting feelings unintentionally..they can see a psychiatrist for their issues. Its another way that younger generations put their sh1t onto others and fail to take responsibility in any part of their lives. Being coddled by parents does that.
Adonis Creed takes up the gloves and he has to live up to his famous dad's legacy. Rocky has to fight the toughest opponent called Cancer! Rocky gives Adonis a great lesson not only how to fight he taught him how believe in himself at the end Adonis earns respect from his peers. It is a great feel good movie from start to finish.
"One step at a time. One punch at a time. One round at a time." Fun Fact: Carl Weathers, who played Apollo Creed and is still alive, gave his strong endorsement to the movie and Michael B. Jordan's performance. Jordan felt extremely honored. American Flag Fact: Sylvester Stallone requested that Michael B. Jordan wears the famous American flag trunks that Apollo Creed wore in Rocky (1976) and Rocky wore in Rocky III (1982) and Rocky IV (1985) to keep tradition in the "Rocky" universe. RIP Sage Fact: Just as the film was entering pre-production, Sylvester Stallone's oldest son Sage Stallone died of a heart attack. Stallone has admitted that the loss almost sent him into a full breakdown, but Ryan Coogler was eventually able to convince him to use the film as a dedication to Sage, focusing specifically on the father-son relationships that appear in it. Although initially resistant, Stallone said at the Golden Globes that Creed (2015) helped him cope with Sage's death.
nickschnider9191 ...Thanks for reminding me. Yeah, Carl Weathers was a great guy. Dude was just happy to be alive. We can all take a page from him. Go with God and Be Safe from Evil. 😎 👍
@@BigGator5 my favorite story about him was from predator. He woke up at 4 A.M. to work out. He didn't want anyone else to see him working out. He wanted everyone to think he was naturally like that.
If you had a boyfriend come to your job and a co worker got into words. He insulted and got in your friend face and your friend punched him in the face on the job. Now you're at risk of losing your job and having that on your resume. Adonis should of walked away.
Don't be angry at Rocky Jr. for repeating what was going on in "Rocky Balboa." Be mad at writer/director Ryan Coogler for not paying any damn attention. He's the one who basically reneged on that major plot point of "Rocky Balboa" and Coogler apparently has no idea that Apollo Creed actually had children we saw in the older movies. They don't even get acknowledged until "Creed III," which was creatively headed by Michael B. Jordan himself. Coogler could have made this same damn movie about Apollo's real son rather than have him cheat on Mary Anne, but no, he just had to lift his leg on this universe. Coogler wasn't satisfied with killing off Paulie (which pissed off Burt Young to no end); he actually killed off Rocky (succumbing to cancer) at the end of his script as well. Mercifully series producer Irwin Winkler stepped in and said, "No, we're not doing that."
Rocky is in this movie, But this is a CREED movie! Adonis is the Star. It's time Everybody moves on, even if the character is Black. Address the 🐘 in the room.

great reaction love how invested u get into it! cant wait for the next
Ryan Coogler’s writing was amazing, Rocky was a jeweler the amount of gems he was dropping
This really is a perfect spinoff.
I grew up watching the Rocky movies and now I am able to take my kids to the Creed movies!
Born and raised Philly chic! I love Creed! The first one introduces everyone and brings you in. The 2nd.... Wow! You are gonna love it!!!! So happy you are continuing....so beautiful is right! ❤
Amazing just how good this spinoff/sequel is. Both Jordan & Stallone are a great team.
Such fun to watch you loving this series, Aria.

Now 2. You´re in for a surprise 🙂
Ryan coogler did direct black panther and he and Michael b jordan is doin another movie together about vampires in the 1930s -40s and MBJ is a hunter
See Creed 2 and you will love it more than the first one.
its amazing if you think of it we have watched Rocky his hole life, Rocky is Sylvester Stallone, like he is the same man off screen
It's almost hard to believe this is the 7th Rocky movie and it's almost as good as the first one. Wonderful reaction.
PTI is a sketch topic show that comes on ESPN. They cover a wide range of topics in the sports world.
This one is a worthy addition to the Rocky series.
And I completely agree with you that they shouldn't show Rocky dying in a movie.
Creed 2 please 😄
Wheeler fought Adonis already, he got knocked out and lost his car.
19:06 Boxers don't wear headgear for a fight. Only for sparring (practice)
Pros don't wear headgear. Amateurs do.
Inspiring Movie!
19:06 you don’t wear headgear in an actual boxing match. You only wear those when you’re sparring or training.
Or in the Olympics.

Headgear is for training and for amateur fights
Both the turtles are still living and Robert didnt move to another state he moved to Vancouver thats in Canada.
The fight with Leo is not an amateur fight no head gear worn in non amateur fights
kids are in prison because of felonies they committed..technically, its call Juvenile Detention or "Juvie"
You missed the final Rocky movie before Creed. It's called "Rocky Balboa". (Aka Rocky VI)
I saw it… It’s on the channel:)
What?!? Lol no she didn't she watched it a few weeks ago
Check out the movie Never Back Down(2008).

Weird seeing ROCKY with a toupee and plastic surgery

Carl weathers passed a couple months ago, sorry to say. R.i.p. Mr. Weathers
nickschnider9191 ...I keep forgetting to update that part. No disrespect intended. I'm updating it for the future.
Go in Peace and Walk with God. 😎 👍
@BigGator5 all love, honestly I was more worried I was gonna break the news about his passing.

you are just in every comment section of a video reacting to this trashing the movie lol, get a life.
I don't think Rocky succumbed to Cancer. I say he's done being Rocky Balboa in the ring, and a manager.
Leave the hearing loss talk alone.
Creed 2 and 3 are even better than this one 😉

Aria is gorgeous..😮😂
