We are in Lisbon in 3rd week of December only for 5 days and planning to visit Madeira for a day. Is it worth it? And how’s the weather at that time of the year. I would appreciate your reply.
If you have just one day for Madeira, it will get quite hectic depending on how much you want to see. A better option would be to go to the Algarve region in the south, it's a shorter distance from Lisbon and more do-able in one day. Weather should be mild in Madeira as they generally have decent weather all year round, however it will be a few degrees cooler than the summer months and can have rainy/cloudy days.
