I'm genuinely thinking of picking up one of those MinisForum units as my primary PC. Nope, not kiddin'. even low end models can handle it very easily. I have a low end model with a 4500U (from GenMachine) and it's so performatic that I could even use it for development work. But I ended up buying a GTR7 Pro with a 7940HS for work, as I decided to go full beast mode.

@@rekcahY I'm really into HiFi....so I also like the idea of a tiny little PC that leaves more room for audio components. :)

I have done this, but I also still have a desktop gaming PC...which I connect to using Sunshine and Moonlight. I've got some weird jitter that I need to tune out of this, but other than that this setup works EXTREMELY well, and even uses less power at idle over having both my 1440 ultrawide monitors connected to the gaming PC (which pushes up the memory clock on the GPU and causes higher idle wattage, go figure).

Temps are alright, sitting below 80°C.

    It's running hot, hot hot.

5600M can run up to 90-95C.
    4800H can run to 95C.
FPS will drop from 100's to 20's.
