Nice, they are tough, I found a loose one at a sale and used the parts in a custom but it had no hat /boots, great find Paul! We love when you bust them open!
This was a hard one to find. Dad only found 1 at an off Wal-Mart back in the early 2000's. There were 2 versions, the Caucasian redhead buzzcut, and their v1 latino head. Hasbro was spitting out 12 inch Joes by the dozen at the time and the stores were more picky with what they were stocking. This figure in particular was an odd item to stock, because he wasn't the "value" price point, but also was not their deluxe boxed figure. Very awesome figure; one of Hasbro's most creative at the time!
Thanks for sharing, I am a retired policeman. Years ago I would pick Police related items now and then . I thought I had this one, but when I checked I don't. Mine is the U. S. Marshal/12 inch. Never have seen many of them either. Thanks again sir, good luck.
@@paulknappcollections I agree very hard. Also hard to even get an idea of value. I am not a collector, No idea of where to look. Thanks for your reply Paul.
I saw a loose one of these on shopgoodwill. He was missing most of the stuff he had and it came with some other loose figures. I almost bid on it but I dropped out of it. It ended up going for like $30
@@stevensanchez1561 Well I have a few on my wish list that are over 200.00 now. Ones like John R Fox 2004, Volunteer Firefighter 2002, Smoke Jumper 2000 and Powersaw Firefighter 2000 just to name a few.
Has anyone noticed that these “12-inch” Joes are actually 10.5 inches? Does it bother you? It bothers me because they often look ridiculous in most of their clothes, which were made for actual 12 inch figures.
@@paulknappcollections Probably not many. They most likely don’t even care. i only noticed it in 2018, roughly a year after i started collecting Joes. Once i noticed it, i began giving all my new Joes Hall of Fame bodies. They have limited articulation now, but they look very impressive in their uniforms and other kinds of clothing.
Hey I have like around 6 12' figures and a bunch of accessories and weapons. But I don't really which figures they belong to. Do you have somewhere that I can reach you to send you pics may you could help me.
Well if they are 1964-1976 vintage stuff then James DeSimones book is the one you want. If its Hasbro from 1991-2013 then look at my older videos where I review the figures that came out each year. Don't think anyone has made a reference guide yet for those years.
Only one person for sure that would be Derryl DePriest. Great question. There is a website called The Beachhead. Has almost all figures listed and the SKU #s. check it out.
@@paulknappcollections Great info. Thank you Paul. I figured that it could affect scarcity. I a WWII General Officer African American knowing that they weren't yet making that rank.
Dang, this one is obscure! I never saw this one at retail... and honestly didn't know it existed! Nice score!👍
Thank you sir, I hate ebay but I had to in this case.

I was about to comment that I've never knew about this figure either. :P
You got me! I was like wait a minute, and then I realized it's from the newer releases!
Yes it was.
LOL Thanks for watching

You need to let them breath, that's what I always say LOL
Cool, thanks

Also its an awesome figure.

Yes very cool.
You need some multiple pose shots at the end, not just close up but 360, just a suggestion as a 1st timer.
Right on, thanks. will do on my next video.
Thanks will do
I have a yellow helicopter from the sixties still work
Adventure Team Chopper Hell ya!
I just started my ww2 gi joes collection I think I’m going to add some extra non ww2 joes to my collection
There are some ahrd to find ones for sure. I still need 1 mission set
Are 12 inch gi Joe's worth collecting for future value, I still have some new in box thanks
There are a few that are hard to find and can cost a lot, but for the most part the figures from 1991-2013 aren't worth that much.
@Paul Knapp do you know off hand which ones are worth some value just to name a few would be great thanks great channel 👍

No doubt.
Does anyone know what percentage of African American figures were manufactured for 1992 to 2002?
