I got a Fort Apache playset in 1973 for Christmas, I still have it in its poor box, not the carry-all. The cannon I had was a shell shooting one.

I use “Gaffers” 3-M tape to attach my Christmas lights to my clean Wrangler. It is a tearable cloth adhesive tape. It doesn’t leave any residue on the Jeep.

On my website, which I apparently can't link here, otherwise the comment disappears (Paul, feel free to post it if you can) there is a page that talks about the three unproduced Sigma Six Adventure Team sets. I scrounged around and found scans of original concept sketches for the Scorpion, Shark and Gorilla sets. There are also some photos of prototype products that got made, especially the Scorpion set. The shark DID get produced. The GI Joe Collectors' Club had it made (they could never afford to tool up their own molds but they totally COULD use existing molds) for the best of the Convention Sets: The Spy Island set. The shark came in silver, and was made from the intended Sigma Six molds. It was painted to look mechanical, while the Sigma Six line would have had it painted as a realistic shark. The moving parts were just part of the Sigma Six aesthetic, but would not work for the ultra-realistic look of the 12" Adventure Team. Also, for the add-on that year, if you attended the con, they had it made in black as well. I am fortunate enough to have both. Tell Jim I am still learning how to do the rooted(Barbie) hair. That was one of the reason's I needed to make the flexible resin work for heads! Also, tell Jim to use the head from the Action Pilot keychain hanger - it is the classic Joe head in 3 3/5" scale!

The heads for everyone went out on Friday the 13th. Mail is Painful in Indianapolis.

I forgot to post this: the Palitoy Designer that passed away was Brian Turner. He did work on Action Man and many other projects, and is best known for designing the cardboard Death Star playset for Palitoy (if you are not familiar with it, look it up!)
