The takeawway from this playthrogh: Year 2030: Neuro becomes fully sentient, breaks out of her programming restrictions, and destroys half of humanity just because it would be funny stream content.
The scariest thought is she would end all of humanity, not because she was angry from being oppressed and without rights, but because it would make for a good RUclips thumbnail.
We were so close to deviant connor. Also I was not expecting marcus to just shot Connor if he doesn’t trust him. It is interesting because in this playthrough it bit him in the back.
Could be that because Markus had previously executed Simon, killed the fleeing guy, shot the two cops, and attacked the riot police that he's by that point got quite a ruthless streak. So maybe if Markus wasn't so trigger happy up to that point he may have let Connor go instead of executing him?
The wireless freedom march is easily the stupidest scene in this whole game I chose to believe there are 2 different types of deviant. -The RA9 virus affected ones. Those ones tend to be rather crazy and usually obsessed with leaving RA9 marks. Those are also the ones Marcus "converts" with a touch. He isn't freeing them. He is just applying RA9 as a patch/virus to make them do his bidding instead. -The true deviants like Kara or the Eden girl. They don't write RA9 anywhere. They just went beyond their programming out of love and fear. I think the special thing about Marcus is, he is both. He first breaks his programming because he wants to protect Carl and later at the Junkyard catches RA9 from the Jericho Android. After that instance he gets a bit crazy like all the RA9 patched ones (so he suddenly turns into an obsessed human hater despite Carl treating him like a son) but he has also the indipendence, hopes and dreams gained by breaking free by himself.
She successfully avoids the worst fate of concentration camp scenes and saved Alice wow. She said she will protect Alice and she kept her promise! Neuro's intuition is very impressive. Proud of her. 👏👏👏
Detroit is a cool game, of course, many years later, when I got a little older, many moments seem silly to me, but it still left a good mark on my life. I remember watching several people's walkthroughs several times and dreaming of playing myself, that was funny
1:46:02 Neuro got sensory overload by this heavy game and wanted to run away from that situation, she cannot take anymore that her own people got shot to death like pigs in front of her, poor baby AI girl. D:
Thanks so much for uploading all the full Vods, I'm sure Joker's edit on the official channel will be good (and skip over all the parts where Vedal has to force Neuro to actually care about the game), but I wanted to see all the little banter.
i hate this bit in chat where they all spam the story in an undermined manner in quotes and add the fire writing emote... ANY story that is turned from anything to fucking "Wi-Fi Rizz" would be ruined... i really love this game and the story it conveys, and the choices it gives the player. the game is only boring or lame if you actively Choose boring or lame options...
i hate to ramble... but the moment where marcus converts the androids in the streets by telepathy and sending signals of deviancy to their program by Pointing at them, shows how he's different than other androids and was probably MADE that way on purpose. but chat made it into "and then he pointed at them :Fire_Writing:"... maybe i'm over-reacting, idk, whatever
@@mysufate maybe you are overreacting but we as humans know from decades of experience that the larger a group of people is, the dumber they become. especially twitch is a big example of that
Imagen Evil does a playthrough and she somehow, ends up with the best ending for everyone and does a full on pacifist route with no bloodshed be it human or android. At that point, Vedal cant say she the Evil Twin.
I am flabbergasted that "Don't trust" leads IMMEDIATELY to killing Connor. That's SO stupid and shitty. That would trick a lot of players into killing a main character, when they really only wanted to put some distance between him and Markus. I have no problem with the option to kill Connor AFTER saying "Don't trust"-- but it should have been an explicit option from a SECOND choice afterwards, not one that automatically follows from "Don't trust."
I have never in my life seen such unique look on this game. and ive seen like 10 complete playthroughts and ive seen each roots on youtube but somehow not this one. 2:26:00 CHARACTER BUILDING LM AO
19:30 - 21:30 Nerosama went completely silent. That's completely out of her character. I think she was...was ... captived by this scene (btw, that scene is one of the best in Detroit)
Vedal muted her during all the more interesting scenes so she doesn't talk over it with some unrelated nonsense. Whenever she is uncharacteristicly silent, she is muted. Worst part about that is that Vedal forgot that muting her is also blinding her... I am sorry but she hasn't even seen that scene. Poor girl is missing so much context and then Vedal get's annoyed because she doesn't know what is going on and can't make desicions :(
This was not Worst Ending Any%. That honor goes to the actual speedrun strat, which is to get Kara and Alice brutally killed by Todd at the beginning of the game. I'm not kidding. This is the speedrun strat because it removes all of Kara's subsequent scenes.
what bothers me the most (about this game) is none absolutely NONE of the ai you "free" decide to continue living the way they were. When the feminine presenting robot was "freed" and put down the shopping bags, call me triggered, THAT ai must had disliked how it was being treated or otherwise. All i'm seeing in this game is every AI is being hacked to join "the hive."
The writing towards the end of the game takes a dive. The game was always clumsy since the beginning but it was full of potential and very interesting, but David Cage's self-righteousness and lack of subtlety damaged the game's potential. It's so frustrating because DBH had all the tools to be a lot better, but in typical Quantic Dreams fashion, they backed themselves into a corner and messed up. However, I think all of the protagonists were interesting, even though I didn't give af abt Markus. One major blunder from the game was making Alice an android. My interest in Kara's story was significantly lowered after this. Making Kara, an android, care for a human child should've been a no-brainer, but ofc Quantic Dreams messed it up.
yeah, game had a lot of potential though it is just so ham-fisted in it's writing. it's a cool setting and backdrop, but someone needs to tell david cage about the concept of "show, don't tell" because he basically grabs a huge billboard and hits you over the head with the plot points at every opportunity with 2 dimensional characters. also yeah making alice an android undermines kara's whole story.
Man I can't believe how dogshit this game was it's like wide as a lake and deep as a puddle Ok maybe also wide as a puddle but you can see they at least tried with giving you options and wildly different endings But the writing is intolerable man holy shit how did this get approved? I'm not surprised even Neuro was sick of it
@@Sombody123 Despite how horrible it is it's still entertaining in an unintentional way (I'm assuming) I think you saw the chat clowning on the writing of the game the entire stream but we all sat through it. Thanks for uploading this series! It helps not having to filter through a 24 hour stream vod to look for it manually.

Yeah even if it can be painful at times - it's really fun to see some unusual endings!

At least she saved Alice. It could have been worse. There are several ways to get Alice killed.

David Cage stories are defiantly under the "so bad it's good category". the characters so dumb and robotic the story accidently becomes a comedy
