- Elden Ring DLC brought us a wave of new and returning players - plenty of them going through the content of Shadow of the Erdtree being rather unhinged individuals.
I had pleasure participating in PvP match against such type of toxic player and results were actually hilarious.

When a guy reacts to losing like that it's because he's not used to losing. I don't know how much 1v1 he does, but it must be a lot because he was supremely confident in his 1v1 abilities to drop the challenge so arrogantly right after losing a 3v1. There are a lot of players that are pretty good at pvp who are like this. Running into someone as good as steel is very unusual and they chalk it up to a fluke. But then when he's decimated over and over again with multiple weapons and builds, his self-image and identity implodes and they just lash out. It's hilarious, but it's also a little pathetic.

@@Gankstomperhe only needs to think that he is good at it, i personaly am pretty bad(even tho my win/losr ratio on invasions is close to 50% and i stomp quite a few people i know that im bad compared to the people who play somewhat activly) because i dont play it and also have little knowlegde outside of watching it, but quite a few people think they are good because they beat some average scrups who any semi good player couldve beaten even without having exp in pvp. Seen similar things in other games mostly COD where alot talk trash (dunno how it is in the newer games(likely less because of SBMM) but get destroyed by better players. Had it happen and its quite fun beating those people who think they are good, but are mostly just average.

Yea this happened to me a couple months ago. Barely won an invasion in the capital against host, two furled fingers n a blue. The freaking blue thought a 1v1 with me would turn out differently 🫠 the delusion was actually impressive

@@ТесакВнаушнике ngl swift slash enabled me to become good at pvp, every time I invaded before swift slash I didn't have the confidence to beat duos or trios so I wasn't able to actually develop skill against them, but after a day or two of using swift slash and then tapering down on usage I can now win 1v3's without using it or any other cheese lmao just the confidence I have now from being able to actually experience trial and error has helped me tremendously

Normally when i msg people in ER its usually to ask them what build they are running. If they are consistently beating me and I ask if they want to 1v1. I usually am pleased if i just beat them once cause it shows me i improved in a area i was lacking.

This reminded me of an old invasion video from ChasetheBro's Dark Souls 3 days. I believe it was a 3v1. The scrub host kept pointing down at him for the majority of that invasion. Chase saved him for last and laid the smackdown on that guy. It was like watching a regular guy trying to fight against a pro fighter.
These people are hilarious. They do this in fighting games too. Use the most broken thing and usually they just spam the one thing over and over. They will then always complain about how you're spamming no matter what you do. Then you beat them with their own bs and they still complain. And I don't think they realize they're doing the same thing.
