US guy here but I still greatly admired Queen Lizzy. She was humble, and never thought of herself as above her people, but alongside her people. I remember hearing stories of foreigners in the UK just casually running into her during morning walks when she still did those and she'd have a 15 minute conversation with them. When many members of Parliament wanted to ban Snoop Dogg from entering the country due to his music...Lizzy stood up for him and granted him entry. What a kindhearted woman who will be so greatly missed by not just the UK but the world.

She had a wonderful sense of humour, but also she kept to her vows and gave our nation 70 great years of service and kept going right to the end. I'm American, and HM death has been difficult. It's shocking. Tears come to my eyes off and on. This will take time for everyone to mourn and adjust. Elizabeth II effected all of us in some way. I'll never forget getting to meet the Queen and Prince Philip back in 2010 at Woodbine while they were in Canada on a royal tour. I was nervous but I found the Queen very friendly and surprisingly easy to talk to. My mum chose my first name Elizabeth in her honor and I'm glad and proud to say I'm named after a woman who had such a dedication to serving others.
So sad that she left the world. She has lived a good full & long life. This Royal Queen was my favorite. Oh how I wish I could have met her. She was one of the greatest human beings that I admired. She worked hard & long years. And she aged gracefully. My goal was to live a long & happy life. It was not that she was the Queen. It was who she was as a person. I wish I had a friend like her. It was she who saved me & gaves me strength to fights to beat my horrible life situation. If only she knew. Her work ethice is remarkable. Her discipline are admirable. 96 years old, still up walking, & working is what I wish I could do. She was a near perfect human being. You can not be more than what she was & what she had accomplished. To me she was a super woman. You are truly blessed & you will be miss. God will blessed her for all the good she has done I am sure. It is sad news to hear of the passing of the Queen of England. It just amazes me the USA and England or UK interesting relationship over the period of time in history. America left the British Empire and monarchy 246 years ago from the time of the colonial period of the original 13 colonies before the United States became independent in 1776. Still even with the infamous divorce, there is still interest among Americans and the English over the world's most famous royal family. What is also interesting is that there is still 26 royal families that still exist in the 21st century, although the one from England is the celebrity superstar royal family. I just wonder why the other royal families don't get as much attention as the one from England?

I was 3 years old when she became Queen. As I grew up all the clips of her on our black and white TV showed her in African cultures with black people so I started to think she was the Queen of all the black people in the USA too. I'll never forget getting to meet the Queen and Prince Philip back in 2010 at Woodbine while they were in Canada on a royal tour. I was nervous but I found the Queen very friendly and surprisingly easy to talk to. My mum chose my first name Elizabeth in her honor and I'm glad and proud to say I'm named after a woman who had such a dedication to serving others.
So sad that she left the world. She has lived a good full & long life. This Royal Queen was my favorite. Oh how I wish I could have met her. She was one of the greatest human beings that I admired. She worked hard & long years. And she aged gracefully. My goal was to live a long & happy life. It was not that she was the Queen. It was who she was as a person. I wish I had a friend like her. It was she who saved me & gaves me strength to fights to beat my horrible life situation. If only she knew. Her work ethice is remarkable. Her discipline are admirable. 96 years old, still up walking, & working is what I wish I could do. She was a near perfect human being. You can not be more than what she was & what she had accomplished. To me she was a super woman. You are truly blessed & you will be miss. God will blessed her for all the good she has done I am sure. What a great life she has lived. RIP my Queen. 😭😭😭😭.

It is sad news to hear of the passing of the Queen of England. It just amazes me the USA and England or UK interesting relationship over the period of time in history. America left the British Empire and monarchy 246 years ago from the time of the colonial period of the original 13 colonies before the United States became independent in 1776. Still even with the infamous divorce, there is still interest among Americans and the English over the world's most famous royal family. What is also interesting is that there is still 26 royal families that still exist in the 21st century, although the one from England is the celebrity superstar royal family. I just wonder why the other royal families don't get as much attention as the one from England?
