I loved your comparison to the Divergent series. I think that is so accurate. Overall, I think Fourth Wing is a great popcorn read and is very entertaining. The pacing for the 2nd book was off, but I am just hoping it had middle book syndrome. I have the 3rd book pre-ordered and want to see where it takes us. It was so fun watching your experience of it and setting up your journal! ❤
A popcorn read is a great description! I just finished Iron Flame and I can see the pacing complaint … I think it helped that I was fresh off Fourth Wing!
People can say what they want about Fourth Wing, but it got me out of the winter blues last year and I usually like minimal spice in my books. I agree with your thoughts on Fourth Wing. It’s fast paced with characters you can root for, the setting is immersive, and overall it’s a fun adventure! The second book was a good time too. Happy reading!

Love your journal setup, it is nice to see all your goals in one place. My main reading goal in 2025 is to progress with every series I started (and liked) - it will be so nice to return to these friends. I quit 4 series, but still in progress with 23 (i.e. Bloodmarked - I will definitely read it with you!).
