Can you explain your signal flow with the blackmagic video hub and the P bots? What capture cards and how do they work?

We use AJA Corvid 88 capture cards on the SW8 versions of the Production Bots. On our main switching PBots, we have 6 SDI inputs going into Corvid88 1-6 from the VideoHub. Then, we have Corvid 88 7-8 set as outputs through the vMix External Outputs section, which goes out to the VideoHub. Corvid 88 and Corvid 44 cards have ports can be used as inputs or outputs, and they really only need to be configured inside vMix for I/O, rather than a separate program like Blackmagic cards.

Hi! Can you people pls tell whether to go for vMix 4K or separate 4K switcher (eg. BMD Television Studio 4K) if I am planning to upgrade from HD MultiCam setup (using FORA XVS XT 110) to 4K?

If you're using it mostly for streaming, vMix 4K should work well and will be very flexible. BMD Switchers still have a place for Live switching, especially when projection is involved. Either one could work and there are a lot of other factors to take into consideration, as vMix is only as powerful as the machine you run it on.
