The hotel and staff were nice. The hidden fees though were horrible. To include a mandatory $40.00 charge for the facility amenities per day. For 7 guest at the hotel restaurant totaling $500.00, waitress did not tell us her name and advised us that we couldn’t have tap water and had to purchase FIGI water. Again the hotel venue was excellent everything else was hidden charges. The hotel was not located on the beach but a shuttle transport was available.

Just to warn you these days when you stay at a resort they now have "resort fees." Some resorts charge get up to $150 a night! Also next time you book a hotel watch for the credit card hold because some take up to $250 hold PER NIGHT on your credit card. I'm surprised they charged you per person, they had only charged us the resort fee for the room per night. Thanks for the heads up that they changed the policy!
In regards to the water, Florida sometimes has seasons where it is not safe to drink the tap water. While we were there it was safe but I did hear about that from a friend from Florida. She had warned us when we came to not drink tap water there so we just stuck to bottled water. I didn't realize they refuse to serve tap water tho. Again thanks for the comment! Hope this helps the next Florida vacationer!
