Either way it's still working and he's still doing his job, Beaver just chose a job that meant he could spend more time with the people he cares about.

The pachy being able to eat meat needs to be apparent somehow I think. Since most assume they are herbivores instead of the omnivores the game has them as rules can get confusing.
The correct answer is the pachy being able to eat meat should not be a thing. It is inherently flawed since pachy is far too powerful to need an excuse to KOS in community servers, and it's based on an outdated paleomeme anyway so it doesn't even have any scientific basis. So between being an awful idea for game balance and having no basis in reality, it's just a terrible addition no matter what. PoT had every chance to learn from BoB why meat eating pachys are a bad idea. It's really sad that The Isle is the one game that figured out that pachys should stick to veggies.

Also, it's a game where Deinocheirus swims faster than Spinosaurus and Concavenator can dive, I don't think realism was ever a main objective. All herbivores partake in some meat to round out the nutritionally poor diet of plants, but it's such a small amount it's not enough to be considered truly omnivorous like a raccoon or human would be. Basically, if pachy is an omnivore, every herbivore in game should be an omnivore. Pachy's beak, jaws, and teeth are no better suited for eating meat than any other herbivorous dinosaur.

There's no point making the dino more unique if it doesn't actually add anything to the game. And if it actively detracts from the game like omnivore pachy does, all the more reason to be rid of it.
The Parasaurolophus mod in Path of Titans is one of the strongest creatures in the game. High combatweight and HP pool coupled with good damage output on the front, this hadrosaur is a truck. You should always pick: Headbutt, the front kick leg attack obviously, tailattack obviously (has a good range), for diets the Fungivore is probably the best since it can heal you, plus mushrooms are waay more common on Gondwa than berry bushes. On the hind legs ability, you should definitely go for Charge, it doesn't cause damage but good for increasing distance between you and whatever is on your six, plus good for traveling as well.
I haven't used para much, but I just use front kick, back kick, tail attack. I am not sure about headbutt or bite. I think I use headbutt, but on crimson herbivores can't chase, so I don't pay much attention to bite or headbutt.
I find it humorous whenever I’m watching the vast majority of the fights, there’s a part of my brain just going “You’re not fighting right!” and then I end up feeling relieved when he learns a new skill lol

Not only is it a double standard, but so many of these community servers try to have rules that are “realistic to nature” or whatever… but prey animals/herbivores can be super aggressive at times!!! “No body guarding”, “no chasing a predator that runs away”, etc. etc. - in our modern day wild animals both of these behaviors happen. There is footage of lions being chased up trees by angry Cape buffalo who will stand around waiting to kill them if they try to flee… certain large herbivores will absolutely fight back and kill any predator that hurts their baby… so on and so on. The rules should be fair, without double standards, and geared toward fun, not realism.

Just because your rex wants to wimp out on a fight your rex started, doesn't mean that your rex gets to run off and heal. Reap the seeds you sowed lol. pachys rulebreaking depends on if they aggressive called or not. considering they can have the scavenger diet, it isn't unrealistic for them to kill and eat the young para if they were hungry

It’s lovely to see Beaver grow in skill and experience the more he plays. It’s also refreshing to see him really enjoy a dino survival game instead of him being pressured into playing them. PoT is definitely more his style of game than the Isle.
Pachy can attack and kill because its I quote "Omnivorous in the game." when it should be just a herbivore but what do I care, though the little anky was third partying and attacking the baby para when it can't so it broke 2 rules.
the idea of herbivores being only defensive and not aggressive is dumb and unrealistic considering the most dangerous animal in the world (the hippo) is an aggressive herbivore

1 Pachy’s for some unknown reason are allowed to hunt even though they’re herbivores. It is within the rules but it really makes no sense. That Anky very clearly was rule breaking though as they where helping have no similar rule. 2 the spino, Rex and Giga where all rule breaking. Those Dino’s are considered apexes. Wich means that they’re allowed to “claim” an territory. If another apex (only counts for adults or adolescent’s!) carnivore enters you’re territory you HAVE to challenge them for the territory or leave. Seems almost nobody actually keeps to that rule though. Cause I’ve seen it a LOT and have never seen an admis say anything about it. But it is an stated rule.

I get that theyre trying to go for some type of realism with carnivores calling out to stop a fight with a herbivore but also its not exactly fair to herbivore players. Also im pretty sure herbivores in real life will absolutely take a chance to stomp out a carnivore thats injured and trying to get away after attacking them
Beaver, just a tip: Most bipedal dinos' aggressive calls have their hands held out, and the broadcast is just their neck straight up, because the duck you almost killed was actually friendly, you mistook the broadcast for an aggro.

@@QuackersExpress But community servers have unbalanced mods and weirdly specific rules that just perpetuate POTs issues such as the body down rule that basically encourages people to target the youngest in a pack so they can force the fight to a stop.

I have to say I am madly impressed with the Para mod. For once we have a Parasaurolophus that isnt a defenceless thing. They where massive animals that could throw their weight around when they had too, and the mod ones is no difrent. Have quite a wide range of attacks, and very decent defence and health make it able to stand up to apexes on one on one fights. And I will say while Argentinosaurus can take a while to grow, you are borderline untouchable as an adult. The stomp alone while been hard to aim does 1000 damage and basically one shots everything. Its awesome!

I recommend that you edit your controls so your attacks isn't on 1,2,3 and then put them on some mouse buttons or some buttons that are easier to reach. Then you can also have some of your calls on the numbers so it's like the isle.

I'm not sure who told you that they can help call out of a fight, but once they attack you, a help call is not a free pass to get out of it. You can kill them.

Parasaurolophus is also my favorite dinosaur. Most survival dino games tend to make Paras the weakest of the larger creatures, but this video made me believe, and made me excited to try Path of Titans
Beaver if you're a triple defense para you can face tank about 2 rexes if I'm right. And if you're on your two back feet, your punching attack is the strongest attack a para has

as a para main on POT, i love this so much. I play a triple defense para (double defense + defense hide) and by god is she slow but she has outlived and killed multiple rexes before and will continue to do so!

The PT Parasaurolophus can destroy most things in a 1 vs 1, or a pack of mid-sized carnis, easily.

I have seen estimates for parasaurolophus that are between 8 and 12 tons. The one in Pot is prob on the higher end.

I find it humorous whenever I’m watching the vast majority of the fights, there’s a part of my brain just going “You’re not fighting right!” and then I end up feeling relieved when he learns a new skill lol

No way they screeched in chat that you rulebroke when the anky broke baby para’s legs and they didn’t say a thing about that. Not to mention they literally said in chat “let’s kill the other para”. And isn’t that a rule break? Thought you couldn’t attack anyone when there’s a body down, although I could be wrong about that
Then when you killed one and the second pachy tried to kill you, isn’t that another rule break since they could’ve eaten their friend
And that carnivores can call out after starting a fight so they can’t be killed or lose any progress is stupid as well, it’s a double standard like Beaver said
Not only is it a double standard, but so many of these community servers try to have rules that are “realistic to nature” or whatever… but prey animals/herbivores can be super aggressive at times!!! “No body guarding”, “no chasing a predator that runs away”, etc. etc. - in our modern day wild animals both of these behaviors happen. There is footage of lions being chased up trees by angry Cape buffalo who will stand around waiting to kill them if they try to flee… certain large herbivores will absolutely fight back and kill any predator that hurts their baby… so on and so on.
The rules should be fair, without double standards, and geared toward fun, not realism.
@@lexinicole4317 fair lol the only dissaggreement I really have is the body guarding since if a carnivore kills a herbivores baby it should get the meal, but I dont play full realism servers so I really cant be talking lol

Yeah Pachy in the server can have an omnivorous diet letting them hunt. The baby ankey was rule breaking tho
Then it’s stupid that a herbivore can’t threaten a pachy, because the pachy is acting as a carnivore it should be treated as one, not as something that can suddenly go from coexisting with a herd to killing then complaining about the herbies fighting back
@@albytross8681 well the thing is they arnt allowed to mox herd so also Ive had discussions with staff before on the topic and they came to the conclusion that due to the ambiguous nature of Pachies they are to be treated like a threat

I will have to agree, that once a fight starts it doesnt stop until a body drops for either party. Just because your rex wants to wimp out on a fight your rex started, doesn't mean that your rex gets to run off and heal. Reap the seeds you sowed lol. Though the ano rule broke, the pachies did not since they can eat the body.

pachys rulebreaking depends on if they aggressive called or not. considering they can have the scavenger diet, it isn't unrealistic for them to kill and eat the young para if they were hungry

It’s lovely to see Beaver grow in skill and experience the more he plays. It’s also refreshing to see him really enjoy a dino survival game instead of him being pressured into playing them. PoT is definitely more his style of game than the Isle.

Pachy can attack and kill because its I quote "Omnivorous in the game." when it should be just a herbivore but what do I care, though the little anky was third partying and attacking the baby para when it can't so it broke 2 rules.
the idea of herbivores being only defensive and not aggressive is dumb and unrealistic considering the most dangerous animal in the world (the hippo) is an aggressive herbivore

1 Pachy’s for some unknown reason are allowed to hunt even though they’re herbivores. It is within the rules but it really makes no sense.
That Anky very clearly was rule breaking though as they where helping have no similar rule.
2 the spino, Rex and Giga where all rule breaking. Those Dino’s are considered apexes. Wich means that they’re allowed to “claim” an territory. If another apex (only counts for adults or adolescent’s!) carnivore enters you’re territory you HAVE to challenge them for the territory or leave. Seems almost nobody actually keeps to that rule though. Cause I’ve seen it a LOT and have never seen an admis say anything about it. But it is an stated rule.

I get that theyre trying to go for some type of realism with carnivores calling out to stop a fight with a herbivore but also its not exactly fair to herbivore players. Also im pretty sure herbivores in real life will absolutely take a chance to stomp out a carnivore thats injured and trying to get away after attacking them

Beaver, just a tip: Most bipedal dinos' aggressive calls have their hands held out, and the broadcast is just their neck straight up, because the duck you almost killed was actually friendly, you mistook the broadcast for an aggro.

@@QuackersExpress But community servers have unbalanced mods and weirdly specific rules that just perpetuate POTs issues such as the body down rule that basically encourages people to target the youngest in a pack so they can force the fight to a stop.
@@viennasavage9110 younger ones are usually faster so they should just run lol. The body down rule is fine imo so it’s more fair when like 56 Dino’s attack you at the same time
I have to say I am madly impressed with the Para mod. For once we have a Parasaurolophus that isnt a defenceless thing. They where massive animals that could throw their weight around when they had too, and the mod ones is no difrent. Have quite a wide range of attacks, and very decent defence and health make it able to stand up to apexes on one on one fights. And I will say while Argentinosaurus can take a while to grow, you are borderline untouchable as an adult. The stomp alone while been hard to aim does 1000 damage and basically one shots everything. Its awesome!

He should play the Arazoa servers, they do have some rules but they actually let herbivores defend themselves.

The walking with dinosaurs music tracks are always my favourite parts of these videos, like whenever he gets into a big fight and Battle of the Salt Plains starts playing it’s just *chefs kiss*
I recommend that you edit your controls so your attacks isn't on 1,2,3 and then put them on some mouse buttons or some buttons that are easier to reach. Then you can also have some of your calls on the numbers so it's like the isle.

I'm not sure who told you that they can help call out of a fight, but once they attack you, a help call is not a free pass to get out of it. You can kill them.

Parasaurolophus is also my favorite dinosaur. Most survival dino games tend to make Paras the weakest of the larger creatures, but this video made me believe, and made me excited to try Path of Titans

Beaver if you're a triple defense para you can face tank about 2 rexes if I'm right. And if you're on your two back feet, your punching attack is the strongest attack a para has

as a para main on POT, i love this so much. I play a triple defense para (double defense + defense hide) and by god is she slow but she has outlived and killed multiple rexes before and will continue to do so!
