Can we just take the time to appreciate the fact that this game has 50 characters and almost none of them feel the same
ik right like, how did they do that, that's just amazing
@Manoj Kumar nah armor king is like a mishima grappler and king is just a full on throw stringing mf
josie and fakh, leroy and jin, law and shaheen, lili and leo etc all feel quite similar
@Manoj Kumar Not really
They share a fighting style in general but they use different variations of it
The only similarities they have are air throws, ground throws, chain throws, a running 2+4 move and a Jaguar mask.
@Manoj Kumar nah the combo , punish and launcher so different
I love this video, not only is it super informative, it's also really cool to watch. I find myself coming back every once in a while to it just for the hype.
3:25 when you jab against steve
Crazy good vids dude, all the hard and easy combos. Exactly what everybody needs in tekken
Thanks!
Not just that either as a newcomer i dont understand stand those notations for this game so this vid helps me at least no his inputs thx soul you great person lookin out for newcomers as well
Seeing you deal 78 damage with Steve Fox makes me cry. You make it look easy.
I literally loaded RUclips and I saw this in front of my homepage.
What timing!
This is so satisfying the precision! 👌
Hey bro amazing video! The combo at 1:03 can get 1 extra point of damage if you finish it with extended ducking 1 into ff,2 instead of peekabo 2,1
Thanks for this badass combos man
Been waiting for this
The western coorejam, you are a godsend! Thank you so much!!
I wish Steve Fox still had his Cougar Punch(up,back1) and Foul Play(12 during sidestep). It made no sense to remove them. His Ali shuffle with the 50s Rocker Hair item was also epic. Lets petition to bring them back.
I miss cougar punch as well i'd always use it since it was a mid check then immedietly use rocket launcher if blocked id hold back for flicker stance and more strings, you could really control the pace of a match with that move, thats probably why its gone😂
@@_1Sentry1_ They made a huge mistake by removing those basic boxing tools. Now Steve has no identity and you need to swarm opponents with speed and spam the buttons to overwhelm them so if you get countered - sucks to be you. Steve used to have better defense, counter-movement and more agency. Now he's just a speedy drone.
@@Charismaniac oof not even, with the nerfs steves taken if you try to swarm anyone you get rocked. His lows have been nerfed so people have no reason to duck him anymore so 90% of matches consist of the opponent turtling up and holding back, when your finished your string or attempt to launch which works even less these days they run up do a string that leads into a lauching snake edge of some kind you get combo'd the entire time. To be effective you have to know insane amounts of frame date and knowledge on every other character. If not good luck😬 even more so with the nerfs.
The GOATS IN ACTION (You and Steve of course)
0:12 I couldn't land flickers after the dash b+3+4 part, so I discovered that if you use 3+4, f , f+2, 1 you can actually deal the same damage and potentially even more damage, because it throws them very far away and it can wall.
Also works in the other normal combos as well.
You just saved me lol was whiffing that flicker for like 10 minutes before this
The recovery frames are not the same. Steve main since Tekken 4
@@EraseTime I am perfectly aware of that, but it is far easier.
Also with the new nerf it is arguably better.
What matters is how quickly you 1,d+1 after b3+4(FKR). Try 1,d+1 as SOON as you feel contact with the 3+4 from entering FKR. That tends to work for me.
@@CuttyMonsta FLK not FKR
Too Good 🔥🔥
Respect bro very nice combos
Thanks!
Dashing in to get the finnisher blow to hit in the end of a combo, like a sonic fang or a ff~2 is so unconsistent to me, I dont know what I am doing wrong
Amazing combos btw
Is F1+2 New Move during Pekaboo? Damn He has now Fast Stance move with that one
sick 🔥
I swear im about to blister my thumbs doing steve combos, too addicting
Ryz new meta 4 combos!
in the first combo , do i delay the FLK 11 or do it as get in done asap?
1:50 I find it easier to instead of dashing after the screw use albatros-forward into peekaboo and then do PKB f2,1 ; this way you avoid having to awkwardly cancel the dash with some input to be able to do manual peekaboo
It works, but you have to be careful how and where you end up the combo. If you carry the opponent to the wall, it is not very convenient to finish that combo with PKB f2,1 , because it will take time to recover frames to finish the combo with a proper wall combo ender. More experienced Steve mains often break the combo's execution if they approach the wall, ending it with a proper wall combo ender.
Trying to learn Steve and I'm having trouble with that move. Hold F3,2 Screw Dash PKB F2,1. I'm trying to cancel it with DB to dash but I'm not getting the timing.
Shiro combo is soo tough to do, the cancel b,3+4 cancel 😂 fkin deadly
Wow thx bro
i cant ever seem to land the ducking 2 at 0:25 any advice for landing it?
Akuma combos please 🔥🔥🔥
which combos do u recommend that i stick with , as a new steve player . and great video
The combo samples in Tekken 7 for Steve are more than enough to get you started. These combos require some execution and are somewhat more difficult to perform.
Oh,this is what i want!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love you!!
Trying to learn Steve and I'm having trouble with Hold F3,2 Screw Dash PKB F2,1. I'm trying to cancel it with DB to dash but I'm not getting the timing.
Steve: YAHHH
bro these are 🔥 can you do eddy combos?
Is the combo from 1:15 possible from B1-B Ch starter instead of ext duck?
What's the best small combo for back two counterhit?
hard character
doing steve combos is like breaking your fingers xD
My favorite character Steve fox 🥊
Mine too bro
How do i learn those long combos? I find it very difficult
👌🔥
confused on the third section for the first and second combos. I'm new to fighting games.

How to do running flicker 1,1 alba 2
Please for the love of god tell me I am not the only one who read these things as FUCKER STANCE the first time I looked at it
i can't seem to connect my flicker,1,1b, albatross 2 ender ffffffffff
1:20 for some reason i dash but df1+2 still wont connect at the end, am i doing something wrong here or is there a certain point after extended ducking 1 that i can dash?
Delay the df1+2 so the dash makes u closer to the enemy, if u do it too fast df1+2 won't connect cause the range is too far
Can you make a Gatling gun guide?
i wanna use this character but im having a hard time executing his combos idk why as im ok with mishimas.
Completely different to mishimas really
You just need to practice, he takes a bunch of weird timing and cancels which is completely different from mishimas
@@ChristopherWaddelow I am more precise using jin offline no drop whatsoever.
@@ChristopherWaddelow I'm currently facing this hard reality😂
Trying to muscle memory b+1, into flicker, then immediately ducking forward into either extended duck 1 or immediate 2😭 It's just practice, but, dang, are mishimas easier, imo😂 I'd much rather have harder execution vs fast AND slow timing😭
But I love Steve, so here I am trying to learn this monster😂
@@BlueBamboo9 It becomes very slick and satisfying once you get used to it. Definitely, unconventional timing but a lot of fun.
Hey whats the name of the first sound track?
im new to tekken and its my first ever fighting game, steve is the guy that attracted me instantly but now that i see how difficult he is and all these stances, im quite intimidated :( still would love to get good at him one day though
@Larry Leonard I'm actually pretty curious, how do you even START? Like do I start by learning the simple combos first or? I'm determined to get better as him!
good
how do u do the dash part at :40
I main Yoshimitsu but also play Kazumi, Lili and Josie. If some of those 3 are in your plans i appreciate it
Lei? Probably? Maybe?
3:49 Click here for Shiro Combo, Steve's hardest and most iconic combo.
Can you saw josie combos
anyone got any massgey wall ender tips
finally
plays steve for 20 minutes
controller immediately breaks
oh? maby some wallcarry starter pack?
Nice guide especially for us non tekken players lol👏🏾
Akuma plz
Did anyone else read FLICKER STANCE wrong?
3:51 How can i do this move
5:55 is the wall splat after the throw still a thing in season 5? Tried a lot of times but (PKB)f1+2 gets always blocked
me too, i also can’t find anyone that shows a combo with sway throw in season 5 so I suppose u can’t do this anymore sadly
@@holygrail9760 it works, your plus frames are based on distance travel or smth like this. So for example if you throw them from long range like in this video you get +17ish so it's really easy to do that pkb break, if you thow them from the side you get less so it's better to break with b12. You probably were trying to do it from close range where you are only +10
Pero también puedo hacer mis propios combos
can someone please teach me how to do the combo at 2:46?
nevermind, i thought you had to cancel peekaboo with qcb, you can just mash f3+4 and then do the sonic fang. Bless everyone
can someone teach me how to land the combo ender at the start? dash flicker 1,1 is so hard to connect
I had a difficult time with landing that as well, but i manage to land it almost every time after lot of practice and right input. All you need to do is, when you dash in press back and then 3+4, if you happen to press 3+4 before back then you will end up with alb spin. Hope this helps.
Indless roll best combo
All the effort just to deal shit damage. Anyway good vid! Learnt a lot
TOP!!!!!!!!!!
I am a steve main but til now I can't do double dash then pikaboo stance 1:21 in the video. can you tell me how to do it? thanks a lot!
If u on controller I suggest u change your settings to make it easier
@@thereallc2638 how and what settings do I have to change?
3:50
just wanna ask I hope you can help me. I'm just a newbie Steve and I don't know what's the buttons on his rage drive db1+2 can someone pls tell me?
Db3+2 i think juste watch you're in game move list
Make Leo combo
How do you do the combo at 2:45 because that doesn't work for me
you have to cancel peekaboo stace before sonicfang
Back 2 to flixker stance don't work
back forward 4
0:15 i cant do this [ ] part
People don't know how hard it is to use Steve and hwoarang
Hwoarang is three times cheaper and easier than steve, he has pressure and decent frame, in flamingo stance he can spam and still got +14 on his side. On the other side if you block a low from his Flamingo s hes -20.
Steve needs timing and really good knowledge since he cant use 3 and 4, plus if you're repetitive with steve it's over... you re going to get parried from 3/4 of the roaster.
Hwoarang is hard LOL
Hwoarang is hard but you can cheese with him a lot easier than Steve
Both are the most buttonmashable characters (3rd is law) and also two of them are hard. Great character, opens up the replayability of the game
@@TheTriangle444 what rank u play in?
I tried to main Steve once.
Me too.
Me three
Me four
Fun Fact : all Steve's combos that we do, they're all are wall carries
3:29 i can't do this last dash :( Any tip?
Try inputting ff neutral df1+2
@@TKZhyon gonna try thanks
Does this combo still work I can't get the last hit of df1+2 to hit?
5:09 what is that red lightning?
thats called ki-charge (1+2+3+4), he used it to get a counterhit. midmatch or after beating someone kicharge is usually used for disrespect or trolling.
Kuma plss
Man, I really want to use Steve but hell nah, he's way too complicated to play, I feel lile Steve is only for the mechanically and technically advance players. I'll just stick to hwoarang
No walls no damage😁
Cant land b2 combo any advice?
Go in to flicker faster
I don’t get the f3- hold f2 screw can someone explain? Like idk how
you must cancel using flicker stance
Can anyone explain how to do f3 1 after df 1 ( 2 1 ) b
I keep missing the enemy and its like i did it too slow?
@@ayodhananarendra7592 after df121b try holding b just a little shorter, the timing must be perfect, but once you get it it's easy. Also after releasing b, f3 1 needs to be pressed very fast, it's almost like they're being pressed at the same time, anyways I hope you get it, took me some time too.
First combo in this video is so hard (the spin flk) and not even worth the practice, do this instead
Launch duck1, df121, flk 1 then flk 1d1 then run for sonic fang. Effortless 69 damage. If you manage to get an extended duck, its a whopping easy 72 damage! (1 less damage than the hardest and most damaging combo from neutral he can land)
You can control the distance more with Flk 11 ALB 2, its definitely worth learning, for me its easier to do dash b11 ALB 2. The reason its good to learn is that you can control the distance by not completing the final 2 when you are close to the wall, giving it the ability to be a mid and long range combo cuz sometimes the wall will be too close to do ALB 2 so you just end by only pressing 3+4 and it will leave you face to face with the opponent after they wall splat. Running up and doing sonic fang doesn't offer the same amount of control. They are both good to know though cuz running up and doing sonic fang is preferable if you gauge the distance well cuz its much easier. So yah the answer is do both, its what I do.
@@Section8dc do i delay the flk 11 or what , it doesnt land , feels like i'm always late to catch opponent's feet.
@@reverse9822 there is no trick unfortunately, you just have to be fast af, it requires a lot of practice. Run up to the opponent after screw but not all the way up, you have more space then you probably think. Run up very fast and practice pressing back and going into flk and pressing 11 ALB 2 as fast as possible, its hard for sure, especially on b1 ext dck 1 combo. I just did it in practice mode and I haven't played steve since this comment so its definitely still doable. I think doing b11 is easier so you can also do that, but I feel like flk 11 offers more control. Practice just running up and connecting flk 11, once you know the exact distance then just grind it in, Steve is one of the hardest characters in the game for a reason, wait till you try to master shiro combo lol. With enough practice it will become second nature so just keep at it.
@@Section8dc thank u so much for the time and advice man
@@reverse9822 no problem my friend, when you go to learn shiro combo hit me up again cuz that will take WAY more practice and time and I can probably help a little. I play only high execution characters and Steve is one of the very hardest. A good way to practice combos ending with flk 11 ALB 2 is to practice doing it from ch df 121 combo, thats probably the easiest one to land it off of, after that just practice trying it at the end of different combos, also if you do just dck 1 instead of ext dck 1 it makes it easier to land after ch b1 combo.
3:38 i cant get it... my last hit dont get it
I could!!! :D
Yo, Ryzing, I need help man. How do you do Peekaboo Gatling Gun, I can't do it, whenever how many times I spam the 1 and 2 button.
Gattling gun is from ducking not from peakaboo. You can cancel into most stances from other stances. Gattling gun is usually done by f+2,1 into hold forward to enter PKB and cancel PKB into duck then mash 1+2,1,2,1,2...
For the combo at 0:54 i struggle to land the last strike(FF2) because the openent is out of range, any advices ?
wow same here no matter how i did it fast enough either i accidently goes to albatross or i got the flicker stance and it wont reach
I am also not able to get the last hit (FF2). Is it because of some nerf?
@@alanburgos5675 as of patch 5.01 it still works. sorry but I have no tips for it, after ages in practice mode I only hit the ff2 twice, I guess it's just a really tight window
@@alanburgos5675 its the dash before ff2 that play it all
im also struggling with that, did you manage to do it by now?:D and if os do you have any advice?
I don't get how you get how to do a albatross from flicker stance can anyone explain how to do it?
After a punch in flicker stance you press 3 and 4 at the same time
@@zed211 I'll try that rn
