About 3 years ago (end of 2nd year) I was in Latvia with my cousins (who live in Spain) and we talked about how cool it would be if I could come to Spain and maybe live with them for a while. At the time it seemed like such a random idea that wasn’t going to happen but somehow, the more I started talking about it, the more we started planning it. Then in the middle of 3rd year I just applied to the school that I wanted to go to (I didn’t go with any exchange program) and at the end of that school year they told me that I got accepted to go to their school next year☺️ And then a couple of months later I moved :)) Iss not a very interesting story I’m sorry ahahahah

My Spanish is not as fluent as it used to bc I now leave in England and go to school there and aaaa I don’t speak enough Spanish I was learning Japanese but gave it up. Hopefully I start again soon !
If you're doing Computer Science DIT is the best in the country for it, it's a lot more practical rather than the likes of UCD and Trinity where you just sit there and listen to lectures all day. (That's true by the way you do nearly all the courses in 5th year then in 6th it's all exam papers and timing, all the fun stuff )
If I feel super overworked and stressed during the week the first thing I do is I sit down and figure out why I’m actually stressing. A lot of the time it’s because I’m being too hard on myself and setting goals that are way too high and that stresses me out. So then I would prioritise what ACTUALLY needs to be done for school (homework, studying for tests, etc) and then during the week I try to just focus on that and not be stressed about all my personal goals. And on the weekend I make sure I get enough time to relax and then catch up with whatever was stressing me during the week. If it’s more like exam stress (or too many things going on at once) then I honestly still haven’t fully figured out a way to deal with it. If I’m super stressed for a test I just keep telling myself that it’ll be over soon and then I won’t have to think about it ever again as long as I do my best. Sorry this was such a long answer😅 but I hope I helped in any way

How do you manage stress from school ?

I moved to America when I was 8 years old so I originally learned English there and when I moved to Ireland I guess my accent stuck with me :))
