I had that set back when It was never supposed to be fast driven The higher chassis set up with the deeper pickup shoes and knobby tires was supposed to take the traction magnets out of the drive experience I thought they were fun but never fast I still use the aprons on my current track

thanx man finally my kids into it but like all things they not understand clean and maint!
A pencil eraser is all you need to clean the track, unless it gets wet and rusts.
Can you soak that in vinegar or CLR calcium lime rust removal.
Sanding the rail would be better accomplished with the sandpaper wrapped in a block.
