Their Roots song is the best song in my opinion, and would be a great finisher especially when tied with right background, and it has to have a hockey background so everyone an feel it. It will grab a hold of emotions, much like there first audition did, and I like this song better then there first audition, but I can see how people would like the first one better. I mean when has Simon ever ran a successful boy band that actually he did not screw up, he went and he signed them and screwed up the whole song. Simon is a screw-up of music he is not a producer. he's like that boy band guy who put together nsync and backstreet boys, he can put the bands together but he cannot make them succeed.
I hope this was enough. Personally, I don't think this was their best version. Don't get me wrong, I love this song. They definitely did better at the Grey Cup, and yes I know that the video has tons of production done to it.

I loved their first song but I really didn't like this song. I felt the same way as Simon and Howie did before I heard their comments. And I am a singer and musician myself. I just couldn't get into this song. The singing sounded a little sloppy to me. Especially at the beginning when she joined in as her brother started the song. It is unfortunate because I was really rooting for them after their first song.
She needs to take the lead dude. She has a smooth voice and is a little better. Just let her sing louder. A nice ballot with you harmonizing is key to getting to the finals.
The way he sings is perfect. She falls back into the background to bring about nice harmony. I think maybe he's just a good brother looking out for his sister. He gives her room to shine instead of overpowering her. If you reverse, it might not work so well. That is what solo careers are for.
