One thing I would like to add to your zonk list is how far you have to extend your arm to reach that beautiful 14.5 inch touch screen display. They surely could have placed it a bit closer or even placed it in the empty space between the HVAC control and the air vents. That way you would have better view of the outside too. This is my next car. Thank you so much for the review. I may go with 2.5T though because of the money wise. I hope you do a review on 2.5T as well.
Been down the rabbit hole looking at Genesis's. I gotta say I was really happy and in love with the 2020 Infiniti QX-50 that I leased and was probably gonna buy it out later BUT Oh my god the GV-70 is something else. Its gonna be really hard staying with Infiniti with how good the GV70 looks!
To be honest this car looks really beautiful especially the from the back ! I mean it's not the small of the German cars it's new with lights, back little window, the allowed wheels, the interior... It's just a sexy new SUV!
The GV70 looks so handsome just like the other models in the Genesis lineup. Of course they do need to fix those two little bits on the hood that fold onto the front of the car and I'm 50/50 on the fake vent in the rear. Interestingly enough I do get Porsche Macan vibes from the GV70. Overall, I'm very excited to start seeing these things out on the road.
Just bought mine and LOVE IT! I Also happen to like the way the hood overlaps - overall stunning design and I've got no complaints! For all the tech you get who cares about the fake vents!

Joe, first let me say how much I love all your reviews. You are spot on in all your comments. My lease is up in 4 months and I have been searching as to what I was going to replace it with. I saw this review and went and test drove. Love it and thought the GV70 was a strong possibility. Then I have been hearing how crazy the used car market is. I looked at my residual on my lease and with my last 4 payments I would owe 28k. I sold my 2019 Chevy Traverse Red Line for $37,400. Crazy! Now the best part. I saw the GV70 in Melbourne Gray. A matte gray color. It enhances all the lines and just looks perfect. I fell in love. Sold! I have had the car for 2 weeks now and loving it. The looks, the tech, the interior, and you can't beat the value. I got the Sport Prestige Plus with all the bells and whistles. Thank you Joe!!!!!!
Just saw a white GV70 at the local Hyundai dealership, and I am completely sold on this vehicle. Unfortunately US dealers only have 3.5 V6 models in inventory now, and the 2.5L version probably won’t be here for weeks or months. Simon guys like you make me sick you don't know anything about the car you've never test-driven the car but here you are bashing it unfortunately I know about German cars they are expensive junk had a friend who had a Range Rover it was a nightmares for him Genesis believes in their car enough to give it a hundred thousand mile powertrain warranty don't hold your breath waiting for the Germans to do the same so go ahead ba a fool and pay all that money for your emblem cuz that's what you're paying for you're paying for the star for Mercedes-Benz the little BMW emblem and the Rings from Audi idiots like you will accept any piece of garbage just so long as it has the emblem I think the reason you're here bashing Genesis because you're afraid of them
I LOVE this vehicle!
Another great review video.
Thanks Joe and Lori!
Awesome as always!
Omg! This GV70 is amazing. I sure wasn't expecting to be blown away by all the details but GP, looks like Genesis is bringing it to the competition! I've got to see the GV70 on the streets and highways - that C & D pillar design is unique, and other colors may add emphasis to the body design lines. Thank you GP for this awesome introduction to the GV70.

Florida law firm launches class-action suit against the Genesis GV80
The lawsuit alleges the luxury SUV has "dangerous defects" in its steering
A Florida law firm specializing in consumer advocacy has filed a federal class-action lawsuit against Hyundai, claiming that the Genesis GV80 sport-utility is unsafe.
Corwin Law, based in Boca Raton, filed the lawsuit on behalf of owners and lessees of the GV80, which launched as an all-new model for 2021. The lawsuit claims the automaker is “promoting the GV80 luxury SUV, despite being aware of dangerous defects affecting the vehicle’s driveability that are documented in Korean news media and current customer message boards.”

It better look good! Lol the former designers of Audi Bentley bmw and Lamborghini all worked together on this.
Is a hyundai lol it wont sound great
Let's forget about how beautiful the vehicle looks for a moment -- What really amazes me is the 10 min long take (0:00 - 9:44) of a calm and flawless presentation! Hats off to you!!!
Honestly first one in my city to get 1( yesterday) and everyone has stopped me asking what it is love love love my baby
Joe great review 👍🏼 Wow she is a thing of beauty.
Looks better than the GV80 inside and out.
Great review of this beauty. My pick for a small SUV in my garage. FYI: the Genesis 80 series have the side vents 70 series do not. I like that Genesis made it a point to distinguish both lines with a unique difference. I am getting that awesome (IMO) dark green .
Everything is so cool in this car
Heck yeah!
"I'm recanting my zonk!" What a great line!
Killing it. Japanese need to wake up as they already years behind.
Infiniti is about to be trampled to death once Genesis gets their own dealerships. Lexus is too big. Acura is in the middle, but they're trying to show some life, but none of them have anything to truly beat the GV80, GV70 or G80.
@@danjung4150 what world did you come from?
I test drove this yesterday, and was blown away, for all the same reasons you mentioned, plus one you didn't: the Lexicon 18-speaker sound system is on point! Can't wait to get mine!
Any updates ?
@@vScorpius As a matter of fact, yes. I got the 2.5T Advanced a little over a month ago. No joke, I LOVE everything about it! It drives like a dream, it includes so many tech and safety features, and that Lexicon sound system makes my heart happy. So far, I haven't found anything I don't like about it.
In Canada they have separate dealers and this makes all the difference. Their Toronto showroom is very nice and classy.
Who gives a shit if they’re sold by their manufacturer, or ‘class’ ? I’m buying a car that I’ll run down eventually. Idc how the place looks I care about the product, not the location it’s sold lol.
Cool car and brand, love the vids Joe!
Thanks for letting me bring it to you!
Awesome white colour with that black chrome trimmings and wheels. This car is a rockstar 🕺😎
Great review. Very informative, enjoyed every minute of it. I think it is a slick design and very beautiful and sporty. One thing I would like to add to your zonk list is how far you have to extend your arm to reach that beautiful 14.5 inch touch screen display. They surely could have placed it a bit closer or even placed it in the empty space between the HVAC control and the air vents. That way you would have better view of the outside too. Thanks again for the review, great job!
The finger print reader is what really sold me, wish you kinda elaborated on it a bit more, overall this was a great review!
Just finished watching both of your reviews of the GV80 and GV70 and I like the 70 better...thanks for the uploads good job
What’s the difference between the two cars?!
I love the way they did the back and the front, much better than what some other manufacturers did with their cars, especially the latest long taillight line craze
I am so glad that you like this one.
The GV70 and G70 are simply stunning.
AGREED!
I’m finally ready for my jump to SUV and this is it. Awesome review, like always 👍.
Thanks for letting me bring it to you!
Amazing set up, 4300lbs, 5 sec 0 to 60, design, and quality. Nicely done.
Great review!! I love how you incorporate humor into your videos! No one else really does it and it just makes them that much better!!
Genesis nailed this one. I was looking at this Right before I bought my Porsche Macan S I definitely want to drive this
It looks stunning both the interior and exterior with latest and modern techs
my god. Just gorgeous!
It looks like Genesis will have a good future 👍
I sold my Infiniti g37 convertible last year since I’m working from home. I’m looking to buy a new one and considered to get a VW GTI for a daily driver but was little hesitant about the size. and this car arrived, at first sight my whole love shifted to GV70.
& infinite playing games with that garbage CVT
How in was your lease @spreet ? Considering leasing the same vehicle
The only car channel where I watch videos from beggining till end . Joe is 100% in when making presentation . Great work 👍
That means the world! Thank you for having my back!
This is the one Joe, I'll take it!
Heck yeah Jonathan!
Beautiful SUV Joe give me one of those to park in my garage. Good video
Nice review of the nice car!
👍
Do you remember Hyundai Pony? GV70 is a such gigantic leap from it, so much progress!
Thanks for being the first to review the GV70 it looks awesome. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK 👍🏾
Thanks man! I can't do it without your support!
I need to get one of these while people are still on the fence, or think the brand isn’t solidified enough. Lol
I always hit the like button first and then watch Joe's review!
To be honest this car looks really beautiful especially the from the back ! I mean it's not the small of the German cars it's new with lights, back little window, the allowed wheels, the interior... It's just a sexy new SUV!
You are so very right!
Loving the rims and the white paint job this car got. Makes the suv stand out more and give it that aggressive feel to it
Oh yeah!
For all the tech you get who cares about the fake vents!
totally worth the money I’m upgrading from a G70 sport plus to a GV 70 sport plus, probably should’ve got the GV 70 the first time, this SUV is such a great combination of performance and luxury!
Wowwwww what a gorgeous sporty SUV! Genesis out here killing it🔥🔥🔥 Thank you for bringing this to us Joe!
Great review but where's the exhaust sound at start-up? Its always great to hear how the exhaust sounds at start-up.
damn this car looks great!
I agree with you!
This will be my dream SUV! Nice job Joe.
You have great taste Jeremiah!
Thanks for sharing this stunning vehicle with us! I effin love this Gv70!
Totally agree on all your zonks as well.
Gotta love the red seatbelts for the 5 extra horsepower!
You got that right!
Just saw a white GV70 at the local Hyundai dealership, and I am completely sold on this vehicle. Unfortunately US dealers only have 3.5 V6 models in inventory now, and the 2.5L version probably won’t be here for weeks or months. Don’t need to spend extra $8k+ for the bigger engine since the 2.5L model will have 300 horsepower. Plenty for me! Looking forward to a test drive when one is available!
