I like how you installed next to the last link so that it is hidden by the clasp. You can't really see that it's a half link until flip up the clasp to expose the smaller size.
I was lucky to get a comfortable fit with my 6.5 inches wrist. 3 links out, 2 at six o'clock and 1 at 12 o'clock with the micro adjustment in the smallest settings. If my wrist ever expand beyond tolerance, I still have 2 more micro adjustment to play with.
The half link is 6mm in size. The problem I had before was on the loosest micro adjustment my watch was too tight. Add a link in and tighten it, it was now too loose. If your watch is too tight in the loosest setting, adding in the half link gives you an extra 1mm hole 1, 3.5mm hole 2, 5.5mm hole 3. For me the 3.5mm seems to be the best although on cold days I can now use the micro adjustment to make it tighter
damm glad i found this vid!! My BB58 is always too thigt or too loose. I have this problem since i bought the watch a year ago. Im so happy and excited to wear it again. Because of this issue i got back to my BLNR because it just fits perfect but i cant wait for this half link.
Consider Steel Reef on-the-fly extension link paired with Uncle Seiko Half Link. I personally don't have that problem on my wrist with the long clasp preventing articulation (6.5" wrist) But in terms of wrist expansion, I ended up getting the clip-out extension link from Steel Reef. It's a hundred US more than the 30$ half link from Uncle Seiko, but I like that I can just expand it on the fly. Worth looking into. Truly OEM fit and finish quality. I may still get a Uncle Seiko half link to experiment with, but I'm happy with my fit. Honestly, I didn't even need the Steel Reef extension either, as my watch does fit perfectly. But the Reef is more functional, and I found it more beneficial than I had thought when I unclip during my work day. Never felt tight closed, but my wrist still fills it out after 20 minutes once open. The extension link adds about 5mm. Not really a true diver/wetsuit extension, but functions like one.
Para mí el problema es que el reloj es bastante pesado y es difícil encontrar el equilibrio, para que el reloj no cabecee en la muñeca y no quede demasiado apretado
Nice review man, I just got mine from uncle seiko after watching your video. I just wanted to confirm to you that my link comes in kinda strange; the three parts of the link is not stick together unlike the OEM or any other link, the side parts can be spin around from the main body of the link. Does this happen to yours as well or I got defective product?
It's the same as mine. I think the construction is different from OEM but once installed, it works the same and should not cause any issues. Of course, with any non-OEM parts it's a risk you'll have to be willing to take!
I think you may have misunderstood. This is just one half link to add onto the oem bracelet to make it fit better. If you need an entire bracelet uncle seiko does sell a couple of different designs as well.
Isn’t that a $3500 watch? It sure is beautiful though. My watch is a homage to the Black Bay, a Pagani, that cost $150. I spend money on jazz archtop guitars! Too many of them.
Great that uncle Seiko makes things like these , genuinely a blessing to the watch community.
I drilled my own micro adjust holes in the clasp. Worked great.
Just got my uncle seiko half link and it has saved the bracelet for me! Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing! Good to know we can get half links for the BB58 now.
Thanks for sharing. I’m gonna get one for myself.
Good to see a fellow SG watch fan too.
Glad to meet a fellow Singaporean here too!
Thanks for the Vidio
It helped me fit the Tudor Bracelet.

Great video man! The half link was a lifesaver for me too! I had pretty much thrown away my bracelet 🤣
Ever try the Reef Steel extension link?

This is why you have to respect your uncle
The long clasp and inarticulate links is a problem for narrow wrists..
Just got my uncle seiko half link in
Thanks for the video, will be getting one myself!
Thanks for the video. What size is your wrist? and did you just put 1 half link in on the 12oclock side?
Cheers
About 6.75 inches. You can orientate the half link to any side you feel works well for your wrist size and shape.
What wrist size do you have?
How is the half link holding up so far? Any issues?
Thanks
No issues. Still works as intended

Contemplating if I should get this uncle seiko link or the original bracelet from Tudor. Just that I can’t really justify the price from Tudor.

@@tickbacktime ah… gotcha
Does anyone know if the half link fits on the bracelet from the Heritage Black Bay (41mm)? I have the same problem with my BB Steel 79730.
Sorry I don't think it'll fit, the links are larger on the 41mm.
They do a half link for the 41mm range too now
Isn’t the blue more desirable?
I find one for rolex datejust

Exactly! It's an expensive watch with such an obvious flaw but the brand refuses to come up with solutions.
I put the watch on in the morning and never change anything ….who has time for that nonsense….
