Just discovered you guys! My family and I just bought a 70-75 year old house on 40 acres. We also just finished up a full gut of the house prepping for full renovation! Can’t wait to see what else you guys bring to this platform! Keep it up!
So sorry I'm just now replying, Thank you for watching! Hope everything is going well with your renovation!
Looks good brother
Thank you! 😄
im curious what you do for a living if you dont mind me asking, five kids with a nice spread and a tractor cant be cheap. I really wanna do this someday soon, love this lifestyle, thanks
At 6:22 I noticed you used a chandelier to light the barn. Was that a recycled / repurposed light solution or did you want to add a little eloquence to the farm chores?
Times have changed I remember "helping" my Dad with a little rough carpentry at your boys age. No nail drivers in those days! The tool of choice was a 12 oz Stanley hammer and the first job was to pull and straighten nails from some salvaged lumber. Dad grew up during the depression and just graduated High School in '45, so he learn early to make do.
We got married on this property and we hung the chandelier for the event! It stayed afterwards because we loved the look! Sounds like you learned a lot from your Dad, hoping we can instill the same kind of work ethic in our boys! Thank you for watching!
Does the shelter get super hot in the summer?
