Who Will Truly Be Saved According to the Bible? The Hidden Truth That Few Understand
Paul, originally known as Saul, was born in Tarsus, a major city in Asia Minor, now modern-day Turkey. Tarsus was no ordinary city; it was a bustling center of learning and culture, where Greek philosophy intertwined with Jewish tradition. Saul's upbringing was steeped in this rich cultural diversity. He was born into a devout Jewish family from the tribe of Benjamin (Philippians 3:5), and held the dual status of being both a Jew and a Roman citizen-an advantage that would later prove crucial in his ministry and protection. From a young age, Saul was deeply committed to the Jewish faith. As he recounts in Philippians 3:5-6, he was circumcised on the eighth day, belonging to the people of Israel, from the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews. Concerning the law, he was a Pharisee; as for zeal, he persecuted the church; and as for righteousness based on the law, he was blameless. His religious fervor led him to Jerusalem, where he studied under Gamaliel, a highly respected Pharisee (Acts 22:3). Gamaliel's teachings provided Saul with a profound understanding of Jewish law and scriptures, which would later shape his theology as a Christian. However, Saul's zeal for Judaism also fueled his fierce opposition to the nascent Christian movement, which he viewed as a dangerous heresy.
Saul's zeal was so intense that he became a leading figure in persecuting Christians, determined to wipe out this new sect. He went from house to house, dragging men and women off to prison (Acts 8:3). His involvement in the death of Stephen, the first Christian martyr, marked a significant turning point in his life. Saul not only approved of Stephen's execution but also took it upon himself to intensify the persecution of Jesus' followers. As it is written in Acts 8:1, "And Saul approved of their killing him. On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria." Saul was determined to crush the fledgling Christian movement, so he sought permission from the high priest to travel to Damascus to arrest any followers of "the Way" (Acts 9:1-2). Armed with authority, he set out on this journey, completely unaware that his life was about to change forever

    Luke 10:25-28 KJVS
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? [26] He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? [27] And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. [28] And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Those who asked Jesus into their hearts, and became Christians, and also follow him daily! Those are the ones who are saved! Those who die on a deathbed and ask Christ into their hearts are also saved! There's full life salvation and there's also last minute salvation! But both are saved! 🙏⚖️🔥

I thought God was just? I guess he doesn't care about deeds as long as you kiss his feet before you die.

Did the thief on the cross alongside Jesus perform any good deeds? Jesus said he will be granted heaven. Heart posture is what counts. Anyone can perform good deeds and still do so for the wrong reasons

@@andreac8508 it's not heart posture that counts. It's believing in Jesus. Which is so weird.
