When I first did these hills back in 1980 at the very beginning of my own Munro journey, I was still under the impression that Càrn Cloich-mhuillin was still a Munro and I dropped down off Bhrotain to bag it. I had camped on the plateau above Feshie and had enjoyed a 3 day cloud inversion where it was super blue skies all around. The great moss is an amazing place, foreboding in winter with its featureless terrain, and a favourite area for testing winter navigation skills. That was an impressive walk out to bag the two hills, so thanks for sharing!

Hi there James. Blimey that’s a fair old hike for two peaks.
That’s the difference between Scotland and the Lake District. In 18 miles and 10 hours like we did the other week I bagged 10 wainwrights! Haha
Cracking video as always mate, all the best, Dave 😃⛰🥾

That’s pretty wild and remote, definitely best saved for a day of good visibility.

I remember doing these two in a circuit including cairn Toul, angels peak and devils point from Lin of Dee. Seemed like nice enough hills 😊

I did these two from a camp spot near the Geldie Lodge after an epic evening cycle in from Linn of Dee - the first time I'd ever used a moutain bike off-road! The walk was almost half the length of yours, but much of it was pathless and through heather. I remember the fantastic views at the summit of Bhrotain.

Done these 2 a few years back and not really on my memorable list. weather was decent but I'm not a fan of long hikes where you return the same route. Great footage as always.

Not a fan of these long boring walk ins. Will be taking the bike when I get round to these two.
