Mr. Thae is probably the best source of analyzing NK moves as he was an insider. In the West we analyze NK in the way we understand the world and that is a wrong approach in analyzing NK. He is most insightful in this issue.

May God bless you and your family, of cause your two sons.

Also denying family visits between South and North Korean by N.Korean
Government is grave criminal violation of natural basic human right.

In what? he did not say anything other than rumors and anecdotal stories and thing that the others want to hear and believe, from what readied he spend most of his time abroad and there videos on the Internet of him praising the Nkorean government now he says it was all a lie? Sure why to believe him now? just because he say what you want to believe? The same way i would not believe everything he said about nkorea before neither will believe now because he changed his mind.

What a courageous guy. Imagine turning your back on everything you hold dear like that and switching sides. Now its illegal for US cits to visit NK _ a good move I think. I've written in Forbes about the bad ethics of ordinary tourism to NK. D.A., J.D, NYC (Australian-American, NK watcher)

What awaits NK in the future? My hypothesis is, that KJU has right now several wifes and several children, who grow up even isolated from each other for better controll and getting trained to take over some day when KJU wants to retire and live aboard a life in luxury like Erich Hoenecker former leader of DDR did, somewhere in South America...if KJU can not offer a functioning and acceptable new leader, the current elite with their own inofficial existing familiy/friends ties, will create multiple feudalistic groups who will fight to take over. It will turn into an autocratic state, which at some point will crush through poverty, coruption, escapism, abuse and exploitation. But what will be the case if KJU lives till he is 90 years, and even if he can present a son who can take over, that son could barely reign for only some decades, since he could not present any credibility like the first two Kims to the people. In 70 years, there will be no more NK, future generations will be able to see NK relared things in museums.

His kid will be killed when his regime is toppled people are tired of the terror he knows it's coming he can't even control the black market trading and privatized companies they run because the government is connected to it so he's pushed out that's why he's getting worse with the nuclear threat's toward other countries.

jesus christ this could almost be a commercial for microphone pop filters, amazing content here, but the PLOsives coming off that microphone especially during Thae Yong Hos speech....Koreans tend to over emphasize the P words when they are speaking english so the effect was just awful!....every time he would say "purge" or "peoples" "power" "population" ...towards the end it sounded like nails on a chalkboard!...the facility there speaking at appears to be a purpose built lecture hall with a decent budget couldent they spring for a 10 dollar pop screen filter
