Thank you! You absolutely did! Your advice and links were invaluable to making this happen, really helps to have someone knowledgeable point you in the right direction. Thanks again!
Why cause unnecessary drama or negativity? Just because you don’t have a business doesn’t mean someone else can’t. He’s not ripping anyone off. So far video demonstrations show pretty good results. It’s not outrageous to believe your own products are the best of the best. I’d be worried if you didn’t. As far as other brands, he still enjoys many brands. There’s enough crappy brands out there that there’s enough space for everyone to eat.
@RhinestoneRhino what? I'm not causing drama, all I said is now he's not unbiased since he pushes his products, that's not a lie, I didn't say his products weren't good. Also, funny enough I own my own business and my wife owns her own business.
What a badass! Building your own Optical Tensiometer is amazing! Your commitment to the analytical analysis of detailing products is legendary, Dmitry!
Hands down one of the most amazing channels. Insane that subscribers are not through the roof!!! Keep up the amazing work my friend. If you need anything, let me know.
Great to hear you are working on new product tests for ceramic paint coatings and glass coatings. Interested to see your upcoming tests on C6 Ceramics.
Excellent topic. Would you also be able to test toppers on coatings? Some toppers claim they will not take a step back in terms of hydrophobicity when applied to coatings.
Nice informative video Dmitry, thank you! I am very curious how the big boys in the industry hold up against each other like: Gyeon pure/mohs, carpro, diy detail, and the new one of Pan 👈
I have always liked the more scientific approach to your videos, i would rather have an apple to apple type test even if its not on the same paint. One thing i would love someone to do is testing for overall gloss , I just want to know what to put on before a car show to just make it great for the show not concerned for longevity. Keep up the great work!
Thanks! I think if you were to look at my visual quality ratings and the products that loose the least specular reflection you should be able to find something you'd love for a show. If you check the description there is a link to my site that has those tables.
What are your thoughts on graphene coatings and their impact on contact angle and the ability to reduce water spotting? I am ready to coat a new car soon and am still torn between a ceramic or a coating with graphene. Thanks!
Dimitri, can you please make a video explaining the difference between 20 degree and 60 degree setting on the gloss meter. Seems like you use 20 degrees and products tend to loose gloss vs a polished panel but if you use 60 degrees products temd to gain gloss over a polished panel. I think both methods are ok as long as you are consistent in your testing but it would be nice to go more in depth.
The 20 degree setting is meant to measure glossy surfaces, like car paint. This is because that sharp angle is more affected by imperfections in glossy surfaces. The 60 degree setting is for semi-gloss materials, I do see other testers using 60 degrees, but this is either because they bought the wrong device (only one setting) or maybe aren't aware of the difference. One reason you might use 60 degrees is for a surface that isn't flat, it's harder to measure rounder surfaces at 20 degrees. In general I find that initial clear coat gloss level is the biggest difference, i.e. if you start with a 85 GU surface a lot of products will increase the measured GU vs. starting at 94 GU like I do. I think 85 GU is a bit dull though, I'd expect most polished paint to be in the 90s.
*,Really hoping you get thr chance, to test out the new CLEAN lineup by Pan The Organizer...* Seems to he the bew hype, throughout yhe detailing community. 🤔
After using various ceramic coatings for over 6 years now I've come the conclusion they're really not worth it. They don't prevent bird poo etching, they don't prevent scratches, they don't block UV rays, all they really are good for is water repelling and maybe make it a little easier to wash your vehicle. They may be highly resistant to harsh chemicals but how often is your vehicle gonna be exposed to those. You can get the same benefits using spray sealants after every few washes. That's my opinion. ty
HEYHEYHEY!!! I helped make this happen! Dmitry totally NAILED it with the setup and design!
Thank you! You absolutely did! Your advice and links were invaluable to making this happen, really helps to have someone knowledgeable point you in the right direction. Thanks again!
This channel is criminally underrated...
Thank you for the kind words :)
The car detailing car community deep state purposely suppresses this channel
Agreed 200% he should have MINIMUM 500K subs
The YT algorithm is cooked.
Well done.
I hope your channel gathers the attention it needs, especially now that Pan the organizer is not unbiased any more
Thanks Raul, appreciate you watching!

American version of Forensic detailing, please keep it going! Too many tik tok style videos with zero information out there.

Thanks Chris! Appreciate your insights and the kind words!
Dmitry, you're awesome! I love your wax testing spreadsheets. I use them religiously.
Glad you're enjoying the content!

Really appreciate it!
You are the man. Led the way with UV testing and now moving onto approach angle. Absolutely fantastic work.
Thank you!
Thank you Dmitry🤗🤗
Can't wait for more testing videos! 🙌🏼 I'm dialed in forsure
Thanks DG!

Best channel for product review by far 💯
Great video and impressive testing as always Dmitry! Glad to see MAX hitting your top marks.

Awesome video and idea brother

wowos 121 wax would be interesting as it advertises 121 deg contact angle
I'll definitely give it a look at some point :)
Amazing!! 👏🏻👏🏻
Do you plan to do a video on glass cleaners ??
Not immediately planning one on cleaners, but maybe an interesting idea. Would have to think about how to standardize.
Any idea on new fusso coat or their waterblock supersplash angles? Great testing method btw! 😁
Thanks! I haven't tried either yet, but definitely on my list.
Too cool!

@@DmitrysGarage wow, great explanation and didn't know this. Probably 99% of YT dont know this either
I see you tested Ethos Max, what about the Ethos pro 10yr coating ?
Also is Clean 8yr by PAN,
And 8yr DIY coming soon ?
Ive not tested the pro 10 year, but i will be testing c6/diy shortly ;)
@DmitrysGarage got it, thanks for the info. C6 is their most costly coating,
so I expect a good durability.
Amazing as always 💪🧼
Thank you sir!
Great content. I'd like to get test plans for my own testing. Can you share the company website?
Thanks, and sure it's ACT: acttestpanels.com/
Specifically I'm using these: acttestpanels.com/collections/tru-aluminum-cleaned/

Haha no plans to yet
