“I use to conjure up the worst inside,” is such a great example of those anxious/depressive times and thoughts that can come from the trauma those negative relationships can cause.
August burns red, has to have been one of my favorite artist for the past 20 years, they always consistently put out good music you can rely on, and been a constant through my life.
I love the ending of the song, "I rose from the grave so I could erase your name. My demons and my defeat have died today." Praise the one who put the old man to death so that the new man could live in Christ.
Wow unbelievable song. I took the meaning of this song to be more of the spiritual bondage that i've been in, along with the lies that I keep hearing in my own head. My demons die today! Going to listen to this all today, and believe in the victory that Christ has for me.
There’s more than one way to murder a man is incredible. I left a situation but honestly even though it was hurtful and abusive they said it was me… also I’m Lonely. Odd. Anxiety and depression.. That breakdown is rockin!!! Been in love with this band for so long. Thanks for support ❤
The breakdown reminds me of classic MyChildren MyBride circa 2008-2012 but honesty both of these bands were doing it back in the day, but ABR just took it much further and with more success and popularity of course.
Ive met Jake once or twice, seen JB at a restaurant once lol, but i play soccer with Matt, and hes such a kind and humble guy. ABR is just such an amazing band
I really enjoy your channel and your mission. It’s been kinda wild how a few of your lyrical breakdowns and explanations have really touched a nerve. Your channel is unique in a very good way. Would you to react to “My Orphan Year” by NoFX?
I was listening to this reaction video on my phone and I was at about the 6:10 to 6:20 mark and my notification goes off to take my meds and it just so happens that you were looking around in the video like you were trying to find where the sound came from, I couldn't help but LMAO. Love you guys and what you do @ heart support and ABR is awesome. Love and respect for what you guys do there, I'm from Ohio.
I just found your channel but definitely subscribing now. I love August Burns Red so that helps even more. I also like your perspective. Take a listen to Architects - Memento Mori which is a Tom Searle tribute.
Ive been watching alot of your reactions lately and love love love them!!! This os my 1st time checking out this band ABR. Im curious if you know of Blue Octobers music. ?
I love this therapist, she's cool and awesome, do you August burn Red are a Christian band and I think they tour with Demon Hunter and Impending Doom, both are Christian metal bands that you definitely need to hear 🤘🏻🤘🏻😊
Fantastic reaction as always! Theres a song i would love too hear your thoughts on, its called Bones in the Ocean by the Longest Johns. A song that helped me alot, its about survivors guilt. Completely different to anything youve reacted too so far.
Cant say i would jive with you, but i will say thank you for encouraging folks to seek help. Never a bad choice. I guess i was initially turned off by your reaction video.
You should do more songs from FFDP, like M.I.N.E (End this way), Remember Everything, Coming down, and a little bit off today, you can also choose inside out, (it’s a song from them). All of them are good.
Please check out Neverland (live '09) by Marillion 🙏🙏 It's a love song, you'll love it for sure ❣🧚 Great vocals and emotion guitar playing 🎤🎸 At times like these Any fool can see Any fool can see Your love inside me ... When you're with me I can stand it I can stand But when you're gone I never land In Neverland
Taylor, you have to do Because of the Shame by Against Me! Singer with gender dysmorphia writes a a song about a friend who died, while pre-transition, there's a lot to unpack in that one, and it's a sick song!
Idk if you’ll see this but you should listen to Concorde by Black country, new road. The entire album “Ants from up there” is a gut reaching album. The singer named Isaac actually left the band a week before the release of the album due to mental health issues
I had no idea Jake made this. I've been listening since their first album came out. I later learned they're based in Lancaster, PA, so same state as me too. There used to be a Christian music channel called TVu, and ABR was on their late night hard rock/metal show called TVu Hardcore (later called TVu Battery), and "Your Little Suburbia Is In Ruins" (off their first album with their original vocalist) was my entry into ABR. To this day, I still think it's one of their most memorable songs. Link below to their music video (please save for a reaction) .. ruclips.net/video/UZDaYCt3xT4/видео.html
The show she's referring to is called "bad monkey". It's full of dry humor. It's full of black magic. It's full of irony. Oh... And yes, there is a monkey.
I would've killed to have you as my therapist, mine was great, and I appreciate him so much, but I was always so music focused and he wasn't so I tried to show him songs I connected to super well, but he didn't help in that notion, he just kinda agreed, so could you please do Just Like You and Drifting by NF?
Please more Falling in Reverse! :) I saw you reacted to Papa Roach - Last Resort. You should check out the version Falling in Reverse did! Can also highly recommend "Zombified", "The Drug In Me Is Reimagined" or "Voices in my head"
Heavy Metal and Death Metal just calmes me down. I put my Headset on and lay on my bed and just come down. It helped me alot with my su***l thoughts. My whole life is pain and ending it would help stop the pain. But Metal helpes to control the thoughts better
As someone with prerty intense anxiety, I agree. I think it's the busyness of the musical style that maybe overwhelms my senses, so the busyness or my mind slows down. My inner monologuing goes quiet. Just a theory
From TenaciousGrace: @KriegerDelfin24 Hey there. I am so sorry you have struggled with so much pain in life. I know those heavy thoughts are hard to carry sometimes but I here to carry that pain with you. I am so glad youve used misic to help keep going. Your strength and courage to keep fighting is so inspiring. Music can be so healing too. I can relate to this a lot, and I know a lot of my friends and music family relate to the same genre a lot as well. Some say it's the pace of the music. Others say it's the emotion behind the bleghs. A few dont know why and just simply knows it plucks that right heart string. What about it do you especially love? Who are some of your favorite artists?
From I-Am-Reclaimer: @KriegerDelfin24 Hey Friend, I can confidently say that Metal saved my life. It's gotten me through so much in life and has been the thing that kept me from following through and acting on those intrusive thoughts. Thats actually how I ended up finding HeartSupport 10 years ago. It's been a pivitol part of my life in the sense that it's helped me grow through and past those things that held me back. We'd love for you to come hang out :) But real quick - what's your favorite part of this song??
From Hotmessespresso: @KriegerDelfin24 Hi! Same here, honestly. Music has saved my life on so many occasions and it’s so much more important than people realize. I’m so glad you’ve found an outlet
From JoshABR: @KriegerDelfin24 Music is powerful and finding music that helps you with your walk is even better. I love August Burns Red, their new song Exhumed talks about how my demons die today. These thoughts of you not being worthy and stopping the pain are not from God. The devil is messing with your mind because you DO matter and he is afraid of you and what God can do through you. He can take all that pain and carry it for you. I have walked through so much pain in my own life and when I look back I see what God did for me through it. I gained strength and perspective. Listen to metal that speaks to you and lyrics that uplift you. ABR and Demon Hunter are some of my all time favorites. Listen to Demon Hunters "I am a stone", those lyrics hit me in the heart every time. I am praying for you
I would see a vid of you with the band Knorkator from Germany and the song: Du nicht. They have an vid with the original Comic to it (one of the guysof the band likes to painting), or a vid where the singer Stumpen sits together at a table with Till Lindemann from the band Rammstein (thats like the second vid to this song). The singer of Knorkator gets in his young ages with 14(y), schooled/educated at the first staate Opera of Berlin (the highest Opera school of germany). Later on he get intrest into Rock. You can read about him at wikipedia, his artist name is Stumpen and his real name is Gero Ivers. With Till Lindemann hi is in a freindship, in case both guys are grown up in eastern Germany (DDR), so they know each other (had same musical interests, some performances together in younger age, etc.). Knorkator head also an performance at the ESC (Eurovision Song Contest) and they are regularly performing at the Wacken (one of the largest open air hard rock and metal events in Germany and Europe). ruclips.net/video/Bybm2nh02X4/видео.htmlsi=9DLZJcyg-DPLJzps Interesting thing about this vid with Till is, that Stumpen played this/his song the first time to Till. So in the video you see the reactions of both how they reactions on the song. And Knorkator has lot of good staff to hear and think about 😉. Thanks and all the best to you , greetings from Gsrmany ✌🏻.
you should really react to some songs from frank turner. long live the queen, recovery, get better, be more kind, Havn`t been doing so well, A wave across a bay. Dosn`t matter which song they are all great.

Jake founded HeartSuport?! That's awesome! ABR has been one of my favorite metalcore bands for like 20 years. That's very cool. Do more ABR reactions!
I knew he founded a non-profit Called HeartSupport I somehow didn't put two and two together till today.
There’s more than one way to murder a man is incredible. I left a situation but honestly even though it was hurtful and abusive they said it was me… also I’m Lonely. Odd. Anxiety and depression.. That breakdown is rockin!!! Been in love with this band for so long. Thanks for support ❤

Fantastic reaction as always! Theres a song i would love too hear your thoughts on, its called Bones in the Ocean by the Longest Johns. A song that helped me alot, its about survivors guilt. Completely different to anything youve reacted too so far.
You should react to "Remember this" from NF. One of his beast songs
I heard of August burns red for the first time while in jail on a church channel at like 2AM 😂😂
Cant say i would jive with you, but i will say thank you for encouraging folks to seek help. Never a bad choice. I guess i was initially turned off by your reaction video.
Can you react to August Burns Red's "Marianas Trench" or "The Escape Artist"? Either would be amazing!

At times like these

Your love inside me
...
When you're with me
I can stand it
I can stand
But when you're gone
I never land
In Neverland
Hey @HeartSupport, I don’t know if you listened to this band yet. It’s called citizen soldier, the lead singer is a psychologist.
Taylor, you have to do Because of the Shame by Against Me! Singer with gender dysmorphia writes a a song about a friend who died, while pre-transition, there's a lot to unpack in that one, and it's a sick song!
Please react to Parkway Drive's Vice Grip and Bottom Feeder 🙏🏽💜 thanks for the wonderful videos. They are truly a gift.
I would ❤ to see you do a video for Blue October’s Hate Me.
Idk if you’ll see this but you should listen to Concorde by Black country, new road. The entire album “Ants from up there” is a gut reaching album. The singer named Isaac actually left the band a week before the release of the album due to mental health issues
You should cover Disillusioned by A Perfect Circle if you haven't already. I'd love to hear your perspective on it.

It’s not their so g Mariana’s Trench, but it goes pretty hard.
ABR!!
Anything off of River Runs Red by Life of Agony...a lot to unwrap with that album especially the story of Mina Caputo the lead singer.
CAN YOU PLEEEAASSE DO “AFTERLIFE” by Avenged Sevenfold?!? I am begging you to! But you need to hear the “full” song, not just the music video version.
🤘🏼😁
Not to change genre but Jason Michael Carrol Alyssa lies is a must reaction.
I'll say the ghost inside till you react to it 👌
