    Last leg of the Milk Run. I really hope you enjoyed this trip and filming this series for us. I enjoyed it. Now back to regular scheduled programming, till the next flight series. Sad to see it come to an end. It was beautiful and majestic, and green, and snowy, and wonderous.

    Excellent video! I fly quiet often from TX to the Virgin Islands where it is my home. The stability of your recordings are second to none. I did spend some time in Anchorage and Fairbanks AK years ago while serving in the military. Being from from the Caribbean; I never knew how beautiful Alaska was until I went there and seen it for myself. I never thought gray, white and black could be so beautiful. I plan some time in the future to go back and visit the crab fisheries. While the climate in that location is way out of the environment I was born and raised. The constant connection I have with Alaska is the sea, which is something I grew up to love, respect and admire. The smell of the sea is like nothing else in the world. Thanks for sharing as it brought back memories I will remember forever. Godspeed to you and yours.

    Hey have you thought about updating your outro picture? Around half of the aircraft in the pic have been sent to the desert and the livery is old as well.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  3 года назад +3

      Have I thought about it, yes. Have I really, actually, considered it, not really. I know it’s old, but I quite like it. It represents what the airline industry in the United States looked like when I started this channel. I’m sure I will change it eventually. But, for now, it’s not a top priority for me.

    At least you got the jet bridge gate instead of the ramp gate like other milk run flights use at Ketchikan but boarding outside would be cool be I don't want to deal with the elements like rain or snow, also did you get any popcorn at that airport???

    Hi love your videos. Just a suggestion could you add visual pin drops to your video to show landmarks you fly over?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  3 года назад +1

      I could add timestamps in the description. However, I don’t add anything extra to the actual video itself. I try to keep my videos as pure as possible. My goal is to make them as close to what you would actually see as a passenger as possible. So, no extra music, narrating, extra visuals, air traffic control, speed, heading etc. I want people watching my video to feel like they are on the flight with me. Hence why I don’t call them trip reports like a lot of RUclipsrs do. One of the reasons I haven’t done this in the descriptions before though, is that it’s very time consuming. I do everything on this channel by myself, in addition to working a regular full-time job, and having a one year old at home. I plan the trips, do the traveling, film everything, upload everything, edit everything, upload it to RUclips, write all the video descriptions, etc. So, to upload seven videos per week, it already requires a large time investment. So, it’s one of those things that gets put on the back burner. Anyways, I’m glad that you enjoyed the videos. I will take it into consideration!

    • @VBHB83
      @VBHB83 3 года назад +1

      @@sla31 I get that but as a fellow youtube passenger you don't know what you're flying over as we don't have the flight information you do during the flight.

    Do you do the sightseeing of different cities you visit

    • @sla31
      @sla31  3 года назад +1

      Typically, no. I wish I could. But, since I do everything for this channel on my free time, in addition to working a regular full-time job and having a family. I try to fit as many flights in each day as possible. That usually means I don’t have much time at each city. On my trip to Alaska, I had a little bit of extra time in Anchorage, and I had a little extra time in Juneau. Other than that, all I had was the 30 minutes to an hour layover.

    Great video! Did you know that some airline are government-owned (either full, mostly, or minor majority)? Example include Vietnam Airlines at 86.1%, Alitalia (Italy) at 100%, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) at 14.24% from Danish government and 14.82% from Swedish government, and so on.
