JUST IN: Xiaomi MIUI Global devices are Getting Bricked
People on Reddit are reporting that their MIUI devices are getting bootloop after an update and then they are going into MIUI recovery mode instead of booting at all
Xiaomi is as usual silent on this issue & they haven't yet announced anything related to the issue
Now, the reason for this bootloop is that Global MIUI ROM developers have released "HyperOS plugin" for MIUI devices via "MIUI GetApps"
Since some people have MIUI on their devices, the HyperOS System UI Plugin, also called Control Center released for their devices by mistake by Xiaomi is causing bootloop
The updates have affected multiple models including from sub-brands (POCO, Redmi) as well
The ONLY fix Xiaomi support recommending is to WIPE YOUR DATA from the recovery
Xiaomi has pulled the update back anyway, but still refrain from updating system plugin from getapps
