I got so many disconnection mid-raids. I can push button to rejoin but it is mood killer. Most of the time boss model was frozen and has no animation. It has no warning text or screen flashing at all when bosses do the charged atk. I don't know when to swipe to dodge. My mons die before I know what move boss just threw. And bosses energy generation does not make any sense. I used to encounter x3 earthquake or blizzard from Groudon and Kyogre RIGHT WHEN THE RAID STARTS. That's insane.

I hate when games 'fix' abilities in games that nerfs your characters / builds, rendering all of your past effort irrelevant. Niantic is grossly over estimating how many people have access to large groups for raids. Even in a city, it's not always feasible to get through rush hour traffic to find a large group for raid hour. Even if you have a couple of friends or are fortunate enough to meet a couple of local players, if three or four people aren't enough for some raids, then there's no point in them spawning in scattered locations all week long. Frustrating.
Yeah I agree I can only play with 2 other players most of the time so if I can't take down a raid with 3 players then I don't even bother most of the time 😢
Having been playing for less than a year, and mostly free-to-play(so not really grinding to get all the top Pokémon), I had just gotten to the point where I solo tier-3 raid, or duo a mega or legendary with someone. @dkzryan my friend and I were using mega rayquaza and rayquaza against solarbeam groudon with some dodging and we've had no issues. are we not going to talk about how pokemon power spot raids are glitching out and basically has an issue where you can enter the raid multiple times by accident where between the finish of the countdown and the loading in to the raid you can enter the power spot a second time and it causes a glitched out state. this has happened to me multiple times already during the beldum raid where i literally had to give up the raid and redo it 5 times to get a one with the glitched up screen. it has only started since the beldum update for raiding

is it so hard to say over the next few weeks we are making some changes to raid battle mechanics and there will be changes in which Pokemon are the most effective when doing raids.
Raids do seem bugged at time. I have an almost level 48 account with multiple level 50 counters and I couldn't duo Groudon with a friend due to multiple laggy earthquakes in a row and ghost attacks. I had to invite an also 48 level friend so we could trio. The next day a friend with a weaker account made a video of him duo'ing Groudon with Earthquake and there's no way it was the same raid, he was barely getting attacked when I was getting spammed earthquake by earthquake.
Let me state this, kyogre done 0/3 and groudon done 1/1 and we can't help new players get either one, because if we raid with them, we don't have any chance to kill it, we need others with top tier pokemon and revives to get it done... all our katagami (even the hundo of one of us) are useless and we don't have enough stardust and candy to get the new "best" up to 40 ... just incredible, hoped to help 3-5 people to get them there first kyogre/Groudon ... tried on Kyogre couldn't help now with groudon we didn't try and the raid with another high lvl player got down to 30 seconds because of Solar beam spam ... you can't even dodge... worthless to raid at the moment.
offering a different perspective, not negating the frustration out there. The extra challenge that is easily overcome with skill level increases is kind of refreshing. having to use the dodge mechanic rather than mindlessly tap til its down is actually more fun to do. not trying to convince anyone just again offering a different perspective. if we know they are charged to do 4 in a row, i dodge four in a row then continue power attacks so i dont get caught mid animation. It waters down the accomplishment if its completely easy. But your point on doing more to give people a reason to team up is needed. Remote raids countered that, people sitting in cars or on couch too much now. (not everyone lol but a lot)
Its really sad because I was excited about dynamax raids and then this happened and it just kinda took my motivation away to do much at all in this game. I am a level 48 player thats played for a while.
Niantic doesn’t understand that doubling the price to raid affected the community. A exciting part of the game was seeing so many players inside the lobby ready to take down the boss Working together as a community. Or even if someone invites you that feeling that you are gonna help them. But now it’s too expensive. It’s a scam now. They want you to pay to win.
GBL is crazy broken right now. Yes. Even more than normal. There’s a visual glitch that makes opposing Pokémon use your fast move animation. For example. I have Ho-oh they have mewtwo and their psycho cuts are mini incinerates. Mewtwo sligning fireballs at Ho-oh is wild. It’s pathetic
Why has no one talked about the changes to the primals and Rayquaza, they now only give a mega boost while being active instead of just being on the team?
I agree we should have been updated prior to the change. But change is good it has been the same like you said. So making other Pokemon more relevant brings a new challenge.
As a programmer, I've pretty confident that they decided to reuse some of the functionality of normal raids in Max raids, realized it wasn't exactly what they wanted, tweaked that code and broke normal raids. The only change that was likely intentional was the "timing" of fast attacks and charge attacks, everything else, invisible attacks, broken dodge window, charge moves being spammed were VERY likely not intentional.
i think this is because of the dynamax monsters. I still believe they will allow dynamax pokemons to be used in raids, and if the raid battle stays the same, it will be much easier once dynamax was implemented. I think it will be possible to solo most of the legendary raids once dynamax were allowed and no changes have been made
To be honest... I must be lucky for being a new player, but for me there aren't huge changes. I don't have really invested mons. I just open poke genie and easily win any groudon raid with 5 other players... But I get everybody's concern.
Yeah idk if this has happened to anyone else but whenever I go into a raid lobby, and I do said raid I start t walk away, and whenever I faint out I’m like “ok I’ll just relobby” that’s fine but then it says “walk closer to interact with this gym” it’s just so annoying
Dodging isn't practical with the lag. Having purchased 3 phones to keep up with mobile games. My new s24+ with the fastest speeds still cannot keep from overheating. Raids become less fun when it becomes competition. There is no competition there is no dodging. Thermal heat wins.
The Go Battle Lag has never run worse than it does now. Never really lost due to lag spikes until recently. Now it's common. I also haven't done a single raid since people have started complaining about performance there too. It's already a gamble when the pokemon can flee but now it can also be bogged down by performance issues where it likely results in a loss before the catch phase?! No thanks. I think experiencing the worst GBL performance ever has caused me to have little interest in raiding. When people are claiming that raids have never performed worse, I can believe it.
U were ALWAYS able to play alone. When I returned to pikemon go(the only pokemon game I know) after 2-3 yrs off. It's IMPOSSIBLE to be a lone wolf player. U HAVE to be part of a group now. (Maybe u did b4) but I was only a collector b4. Now I do alot more raids and events.
Oh is that what happened on Wednesday? xD We did two Groudons during raid hour. First one went about like normal. Second one hit me with solar beam for four pokemon before they could even load into the battle. xD I went through so many teams of pokes for that battle. I would like to know what has actually changed. It wasn't obvious during raid hour, just thought I got unlucky with second one's move set.
The raid shouldn’t be difficult, it should reward players for making an effort raiding and spending a lot of time catching mons. The fun is gone, the game is just frustrating and stressful. Add to that the game crashing all the time. Such a mess.
It’s all weird and especially because they made sure to protect themselves from the player base with that updated policy. And how they’re gonna give us a 5 minute video on D-Max but they hardly want to acknowledge that they’ve reck Raiding it’s okay for new things to come in the game that’s how it’ll be relevant but basically disregarding all the effort we’ve put in the game in really disappointing and disrespectful behavior
Niantic seems to break their game instead of making it better. Right now I'm just spam collecting with the go+ for xp/startust as I commute around town other wise I don't play much if at all. Most players are bored with the game.
The joke's on Niantic because I didn't know raids were busted since I haven't raided since early March because they broke me as a player. I have no idea how Dynamax works. I don't know what events are happening or coming up. I don't remember the last time I completed my weekly research, claimed the other research rewards and I have yet to claim my Ace GBL stardust and Elite TM. I don't open or send gifts. I forgot about the last 2 community days and when I do play those, it's only for about 15 minutes now versus always doing the full 3 hours (and 6 before that).
@@tonyfranco6155 because they changed the timing of fast and charged moves, as a result for Reshiram Fire Fang got nerfed and since fire spin got buffed and Reshiram can’t learn fire spin so it dropped in the meta , for Zekrom charge beam got a little buff, but Spark got a HUGE buff and as a result a whole bunch of other electric type Pokémon got stronger than Zekrom atm, and Nerfantic refuses to give Zekrom Thunder Fang so it CAN be the strongest electric Pokémon
I've noticed recently since Kyogre & Groudon returned that more 5* raids have been popping up more & more like that's all I've been seeing lately but YET..... We can only do 5 remotes a day???? The changes are good having the same pokemon on top forever makes the game boring its. It seems like they are making more community driven and strat change is good you can't always Cry because now you have to mix it up
Niantic does not care about the community or what we think. They are clearly 1000% focused on profit and cost cutting measures. This should be plainly obvious to everyone after the remote raid nerf and the TOS update. From a business perspective they've got to be milking this dry cause they know it's almost over. You can't even get support from them anymore, I lost a raid that I had plenty of time left on, it disappeared, wrote support TWICE and only got the BS AI answer of you've already been compensated which I haven't. Long story short: Enjoy this while it lasts cause it won't be long now before you're gonna need to find a new game to make videos about.
please make a video about how you need to raid to be effective. I have no idea, I just tap and spam charged attacks without dodging still, but I cant keep raiding and losing 2 teams of pokemons.....
Niantic 100% waited until their no refund policy was signed and approved before making these alterations

I had a groudon spam fire blast. Back to back. Spent more time dodging than attacking.
Raids too
Why has no one talked about the changes to the primals and Rayquaza, they now only give a mega boost while being active instead of just being on the team?
I look forward to your reevaluated list of the "new" best raid strategy and Pokemon.
Damn I was about to end my break. I think I’ll extend it.
At one point, Niantic promised that they would do a better job communicating.
i think this is because of the dynamax monsters. I still believe they will allow dynamax pokemons to be used in raids, and if the raid battle stays the same, it will be much easier once dynamax was implemented. I think it will be possible to solo most of the legendary raids once dynamax were allowed and no changes have been made
The sweet spot seems like 5 or 6 trainers. Usually have about half the timer left but yes you do use alot of heals
To be honest... I must be lucky for being a new player, but for me there aren't huge changes. I don't have really invested mons. I just open poke genie and easily win any groudon raid with 5 other players... But I get everybody's concern.
There went a quick million stardust to adjust to this
I could tell a huge difference in Garchomp when my wife and I battled shadow Raikou last weekend. He is crazy beast mode now compared to Groudon.
Is anyone getting their team kicked out of the raids but it allows you to join back in?
Yeah idk if this has happened to anyone else but whenever I go into a raid lobby, and I do said raid I start t walk away, and whenever I faint out I’m like “ok I’ll just relobby” that’s fine but then it says “walk closer to interact with this gym” it’s just so annoying
@@Rimuru187 I agree
just imagine they take the max raid mechanics to regular raids Does that mean the end of remote raiding ?
Dodging isn't practical with the lag. Having purchased 3 phones to keep up with mobile games. My new s24+ with the fastest speeds still cannot keep from overheating. Raids become less fun when it becomes competition. There is no competition there is no dodging. Thermal heat wins.
Wait, so the charged attacks in raids are intentional!? Groudon is meant to take out my whole team in 20 sec????
The Go Battle Lag has never run worse than it does now. Never really lost due to lag spikes until recently. Now it's common. I also haven't done a single raid since people have started complaining about performance there too. It's already a gamble when the pokemon can flee but now it can also be bogged down by performance issues where it likely results in a loss before the catch phase?! No thanks. I think experiencing the worst GBL performance ever has caused me to have little interest in raiding. When people are claiming that raids have never performed worse, I can believe it.
Making us use dodge more is fine. But to have them spam their charge attack makes no sense
Dope vid Count, glad I’m in exile atm 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🔥
I finally got a kartana recently but now shadow cacturne is better and it does not even have a grass fast move. 🙀???
I was actually excited to be able to use kartana when it was strong. Now there's no point in using it.
I really wish some one on the inside was successful in leaking important information
And how they’re gonna give us a 5 minute video on D-Max but they hardly want to acknowledge that they’ve reck Raiding it’s okay for new things to come in the game that’s how it’ll be relevant but basically disregarding all the effort we’ve put in the game in really disappointing and disrespectful behavior
lol - NIA must have thought nobody would be raiding because we’d be so hype for max battles… Oops! 😂
Zekrom and Reshiram getting nerfed was the last straw for me Count, that was the moment i said “Yup, Exile it is”
How did they get nerfed?
I'm sorry but it's not like I can just waffle raid whenever with groups let alone just walking to gyms with just 2 phones to DUO. Idk the whole system is trash 🗑️
Groudon with fast attack earthquake sucked… We had seven people, and we failed the raid.
Do you dodge?
@@joshuadevaughn8613 yes I know I was but the the delay of damage that was happening didn’t really matter. It was just that the earthquakes were happening quick like one after another.
@@rebeccahvanzanten4743 yeah, I completely put damage as a secondary and stay alive. I guess that means my raid mates are dieing more but maybe they should dodge too. The bosses still die before half time.
I had this same problem with Groudon and Kyogre as well
The changes are good having the same pokemon on top forever makes the game boring its. It seems like they are making more community driven and strat change is good you can't always Cry because now you have to mix it up
Today i played groudon without any air support. there weee 2 in lobby. surprise ! i managed to take groudon worh 50 sec spare. Maybe the changes help.
Idk I can't even remember the last time I did a raid lol
I pass completely on all raids.
Yea we lost raid passes for groudon. Stupid shit got so many solar beams. Its disgusting
please make a video about how you need to raid to be effective. I have no idea, I just tap and spam charged attacks without dodging still, but I cant keep raiding and losing 2 teams of pokemons.....
Was anything actually nerfed to irrelevence?
Where are the positive vibes you were giving. You said you were sending positive vibes. 😮
Great video
I think they ruined raids so that people would want to dynamax more
Anyone else groudon is always running away
Ive literally hit all balls on my last 4 groudons and they all ran away
bad day indeed i lost my pokemon go account to a hacker =(
More and more people are going to go free to play and niantic deserves it
