Notice: These LED kits are used to replace the stock halogen headlight bulbs only!
What's the difference of these specific H11 LED bulbs compare with the regular H11 LED bulbs on the market?
1. Most H11 LED bulbs are universal type to fit most vehicles with H11 halogen bulb. Comptact size, plug and play, easy installation.
2. These H11 LED kits were designed with LED bulb and dust cover. The LED bulb is off-center design based on the OEM headlight housing with offset socket.
There is a built-in turbofan in the dust cover, the dual-cooling fan greatly improves the stability and heat-dissipation efficiency, to prolong the lifespan. What's more, the strong cooling system supports LED bulb to work with high brightness. Furthermore, the acurate angle design of the LED bulb with 80*80MIL LED chips generates perfect output lighting pattern!
Upgrade your halogen headlights with Lasfit Pro-DC LED bulbs with confidence. Lasfit Pro-DC series provides 45 days free return without reason, and 2-year hassle free warranty!

Thank you very much for your comment.

May I ask your vehicle's make/model/year?
1am outside with a phone flashlight, got it in 45 min thanks to this video! Small hands and patience is a must
We're glad it helped! We also look forward to your feedback in the future if you have installed Lasfit bulbs!
I was a little nervous about changing my headlights, but this video gave me the confidence! The body shop was trying to charge me $250 to do this.
We are glad that this video can help you install the H11 LED bulbs.
Could you please tell us the year of your Grand Cherokee and whether you purchased Lasfit product?
We are looking forward to your reply.
I was able to use a 3/4” open end box wrench to rotate the passenger side low beam bulb counter clockwise. I went through the access hole and was able to angle the open end around the plastic housing of the bulb. A bigger wrench will work better. 3/4” was barely big enough to straddle the bulb.
Thank you for watching and your info!
Went to a mechanic that changed the low beams through the fender liner hole a couple years back.
That being said before searching videos I figured I’d give that a try and I don’t know how in the world that dude was able to do so.. He must have the hands of a 10 year old.
Great video!
Thank you for your comment!
Yes, for some vehicles, the space is relatively small, which can make it difficult for people with large hands to replace the bulb.
May I ask if you installed the custom-fit LED kits in the video on your Jeep Grand Cherokee? What's the year of your Jeep Grand Cherokee?
All I gotta say is thank you internet and the man who posted this

Could you please tell us if have you already tried Lasfit custom-made H11 LED bulbs on your Cherokee?
Thank you so much for your video. My wife told me this morning that her headlight was out and with your video I was able to get them both changed out! Very well done and a great step by step. 10/10!!
Thank you for your feedback!

May I know if you installed Lasfit LED bulbs?
Thanks for making this video! Super good shots and great instructions.
After completing this process (hopefully correctly!), I'd like to state that the video instructions are excellent, HOWEVER I would like to caution that removing/installing the low beam bulbs is hard to do. The low beam bulbs are located within a cylindrical housing which makes them very difficult to remove or install, including seeing the LEDs bulb housing - required as a specific orientation of the bulb/housing is required to lock them into place. It's like manipulating something found 1" deep within a drinking glass; not the easiest thing to do and definitely easier if you have smaller hands - I got my neighbour to remove the passenger side as I just couldn't get the old one out! That being said, it can be done and they do look great once installed.
YOU are a LIFESAVER!!!
I had tried endlessly to squeeze my hand up through that damn little hole in the wheel-well to get enough pressure to twist the bulb into position. You made it so much easier! Thank you!🎉
Delighted to hear that the video was helpful to you!
May I ask if you installed the custom-fit LED kits in the video on your Jeep Grand Cherokee? What's the year of your Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Outstanding tutorial. I discovered that if you remove the lid of the airbox (two simple clips) and take out the air filter, you can see the posts that the box sits on, which makes it easier to remove and reinstall the airbox.

Thank you for this video and aloha from Hawaii! I initially was gonna have an auto place do it. I even brought the bulbs with me to save a few dollars. They were gonna charge me $549! I went to another place, and they said they can't install "outside parts" (I understand a lot of places have this policy) but if I bought from them, it would have totaled between $200-$300! This video helped me save several hundred dollars. You have my deepest thanks!

Love the how-to and love how much better they look. But then notice the fine print on their website that these aren’t actually legal in headlamp assemblies, fog lights only.

Thanks for your feedback. For this issue, could you please switch the position of the two bulbs and check if that one has the same problem on the other side?
Please don't worry, if the light is defective and still under warranty, we will send a new pair to you.
Thank you for your help.
Passenger side tip at 5:39 with rotating the bulb counterclockwise. I could not grab it well enough to apply force and turn it. Hope it works for someone.
No matter what angle I tried, it just wouldn't budge. I bet mechanics have a special/makeshift tool for this job that would make it a breeze, but I ended up taking a zip tie and bent the tail end into a half square hook. I used my right hand on top and my left in the wheel well to feed it around the bulb. Once I had the tail inserted into the head, I pulled the zip tie just a bit so I had a circular connection around the bulb- keep it loose so you have a loop to grab. Since the bulb electrical connector is at a 90 degree bend, the zip tie can hang loose over that part and be used to loosen it.
Then I took a regular slip joint pliers and fed it down from the top with the handle part facing down and teeth part facing up. This allowed me to then come up and grab the loose zip tie with it. You'll use both hands, right on top and left in wheel well to guide the zip tie into the mouth of the pliers, but once it's closed, you can squeeze and push down with your right hand and the bulb will come loose and turn. Make sure the zip tie is on the 90 degree bend before pushing down. Then it's cake from there. Do what he says with the ECM and access hold in wheel well to have more space. Once you feel it budge with applying minimal force after fighting it with your fingers, you will feel like you just busted a rusted nut/bolt loose. Finally!
Thank you for sharing your detailed solution! Your method will definitely help others facing the same issue. If you need any further assistance, feel free to contact us.
I appreciate the detail you show for those who never pick up a wrench but, at least you didn’t use video time explaining how to snap a socket on the end of the ratchet tool!

Excellent Video! - I have a 2021 JGC Limited (4x4/5.7L) and it has projector with halogen (puke/sad) and I will use this to video to change them to HID. I was wondering about the rubber dust cover, the HIDs have external components that need to stay outside the housing so I will put a small slit in the rubber dust cover.
Glad to hear that this video is helpful for you.
Yes, you can drill a small hole on the dust cover to let the HID harness through the hole.
Are you interested in trying this specific H11 LED kits for your 2021 JGC? 🙂
@@lasfitvehiclelife I already have LED kits for high-beam, and every other light outside of my vehicle has been converted. to LED. What's the year of your Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Just did this, I was struggling for 20 minutes at first. (IT TOOK 5 MINUTES)Then I realized I was doing it all wrong you don’t have to turn the wheels and unscrew the cap or anything. You have to pop the hood, slide the ecu off the rack and out the way then it’s the perfect amount of space to pull the boot off (don’t pull the tabs it’ll be way harder to come off pull it off from the rim of the boot) then you have access to the bulb. Go to the right side of the car stand looking towards the back of the car, stick your right hand into where you took the boot cover off and pull up then out a little. It will pop right out. Then pull it up you don’t have much wire to work with but it’s just enough unclip the bulb and put it back in the EXACT same way you took it out facing the back of the car and all and don’t forget to put the ecu back on the rail
Thanks so much for your feedback with such detailed information!

I have bought the Lasfit combo pack for my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The low beams go in no problem but the port for the highbeam is much different with the prongs being further apart. Is there a work around on this so I don't have to send them back?
For this issue, is it possible to push the prongs to shorten the distance?
There were several customers also reported the same issue, and they just squeeze the pins to the middle and then the plug would snap into the factory wiring harness.

Yes, this is what we want to convey through this video to help more people install the bulbs by themselves. Why not save the money for trips?
By the way, would you please tell us whether you have tried Lasfit LED bulbs on your Jeep?
Hello. My 2017 Grand Cherokee Overland is uk spec. Is this upgrade suitable for my jeep and is legal in the UK. Thank you. Roger
Hello Roger,
Actually, we're not sure if they are suitable for UK version. We haven't installed these on UK version.
Great job on this very detailed instructional video!
Glad to hear that this video is helpful for you.
May I ask if you purchased Lasfit custom-made H11 LED bulbs for your Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Thanks helps a lot
Thanks for watching!
We are glad to hear that this video can help you!😊
All that for light bulb b,s ? Nutz
This video shows how to replace the LED bulb on the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but what we provide for the Jeep is more than this!
We also have specific floor mats for Jeep, could you please tell us the year and the trim of your Grand Cherokee? So that we can recommend compatible LED bulbs or floor mats for you.
Yah you betcha! TY, great video
Glad to hear that this video is helpful for you!
May I ask if you installed the custom-fit LED kits in the video on your Jeep Grand Cherokee?
What's the year of your Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Do you have any issues of the headlights (dims) turning off while driving? Sometimes they turn back on but recently they didn’t. I had to use brights and pull over and shut off the vehicle and restart for them to turn back on.
We don't have the issue at the present.
Could you kindly contact us for tech support by email with more details, like a short video, to show your issue.
Thank you!
Give yourself 5 hours to set aside to simply replace the passenger side headlight , not the high beams. I cut my hands a bunch and we had to jack the car up to take off the carpet around the wheel well to get underneath. This was all after releasing the coolant tank
American design is terrible. The vovlvo XC-90 is four simple clips and the headlight comes out. The bummer about a Volvo is that is is $1,000 min for any trip to the mechanic.
Hi, for some vehicles, it is truly hard to take off the bulb from the hood, you can try to take off the bulb from the tire fender.
love it.. thanks.
Glad to hear that this video can help you!
Have you already installed these custom-made H7 LED bulbs on your Jeep Grand Cherokee?
We are looking forward to your feedback.
Ecm definitely did not need to be messed with
True. If you have small enough hands with some dexterity you can replace both bulbs without removing anything. I’ve done it, granted not with LED replacements but replacing the stock halogens.
So i have a set of these. with these being a dual side going into the projector housing, do i need to adjust the bulb left to right vertically? or left to right horizontally? that would be either 12 and 6 or 9 and 3?
Hi, these Pro-DC H11 LED kits are specially made 2017-2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the mount socket of LED bulb was designed based on the OEM headlight housing socket, don't need to adjust the bulb.
May I know the year and trim of your Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Thank you!
@@lasfitvehiclelife okay! i have a 2019 grand cherokee altitude
@@PhilipAGreen Okay. These special H11 LED kits will fit your car. Will you install them by yourself?
@@lasfitvehiclelife awesome! yes i’ll be installing them by myself so i just wanted to make sure that the there is no required special positioning of the bulb once it goes into the projector housing so i can make sure i get the correct output of light
Thanks
We are glad to hear that this video can help you!😀
Mine didn't come with a fan 🤔
Hi, lasfit #Pro-JP-01L is specifically developed for the 17-21 Jeep Grand Cherokee with OEM halogen headlights, offering high brightness and stability.
Could you please tell me your vehicle's make/model/year?
People with 2014-up WK2 Jeep Grand Cherokees trust me when I say you will want to replace the Halogens with whatever quality brand LED like this is available. Not only are the Halogens dim compared to LED, but they burn out a lot quicker. Watching this video alone should give you a clue how hard it is to replace them. (And whoever designed the WK2 this way is either the biggest moron, or a genius at being able to generate revenue for Jeep in labor replacement costs)
I have changed out my bulbs for LEDs and have changed the LEDs for different brands (I like trying different ones) 6 times. It does NOT get easier, believe me. Plan on donating a layer or 2 of skin. Whether you go from the top or bottom through the cut outs in the front wheel well, you will need to contort your hand/ wrist / forearm and even your fingers, in ways you never thought possible. I have since switched to under the wheel well because moving the complete airbox assembly is a pain. Either way you choose, you will curse the person who designed the process.
It’s not hard to install em. I install them within like 5-10 min for Los highs and fogs
We are glad to hear that you have installed LEDs with ease.
Could you please tell us whether you have tried Lasfit high beam and fog lights and the year/trim of your Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Great video. But why in the world would they engineer something so simple as a light bulb change to be so difficult. It took me 1.5h to change the driver low bulb. Thats really shameful
Could you tell us more details how it is difficult to install the LED bulbs on the driver low beam? We'll report it to our product manager and to see how we can upgrade it. Thank you!
Has anyone seen anything about the longevity of these bulbs? I heard him say they have a two year warranty. Was just curious
Yes, we provide 45 days money back guarantee and two-year warranty. You can try them on your car with confidence.
In case you don't like them, you can return them back for the full refund.
May I know the trim and year of your Jeep Grand Cherokee?
When headlights already have projector lenses so I'd opt for HID. Long lasting, far cheaper and brighter. Don't need active cooling either.
And the 6000k+ color temp of near all LED's kills your night vision. At least with HID can get 5000k bulbs.
I'd only consider LED for older style reflectors headlamps.
Changing the low beam without removing the bumper cover and the headlight assemblies to get them clocked properly is impossible. The access hole requires the hand size of a child with the strength of the Hulk. You may as well and bite the bullet and do it the right way, it's not that hard and there are several videos on how to remove the bumper cover.
Due to the limited space, it truly needs more strength and tricks.
Maybe you can try to replace the factory bulb from the fender near the tire, if it is still hard to get access to the headlight housing, we recommend you get assistance from the auto shop.

Which pArt are you in minnesota? Minneapolis? I’m interested who someone installed led headlights bulb for my jeep grand Cherokee!! @lasfit auto lighting
Really hard to access ! Chrysler engineers dummies ... You could have a Porsche design that idiots can remove and steal your whole light binnacle in 30 seconds?
There is a mid point, access under the bonnet only and a 5 minute job, as my Fords in the 1970-80s ?
Great video, seems easy , small strong hands an advantage. I like the many hints for mechanics taking care, many systems could be damaged with brute force.
Why 2017 plus ? Would this not work on pre 2017 like my 2014 V8 with dying headlights? Great Video.
PS I have to replace mine, I am going for OIM Halogen H11s vs LEDs with 'computer fans' that seem a weak point with water or spray ... , your comments ?
I thought my challenger headlight replacement was bad 🤦🏾♂️. This looks brutal
Would you like to replace the stock halogen headlights with LEDs?
Please tell the year of your Challenger, we'll recommend compatible LED bulbs.
I found a much easier to do all this… i took it to Firestone lol😂
This is also a solution... lol😂
I really want to upgrade my parents Grand Cherokee w/ these lights, but after changing their headlights before, it was a PAIN. Absolutely horrendous design, the engineers at Jeep should be fired.
Actually, you may take some time to complete the installation, I believe you'll be suprised by the headlight illumination after installation!
Would you like to try it?
My bulb did slide off that fuckin easy
They are trying to charge me 900 to change my lights on my 2017 Jeep omg
Maybe you could give it a try and install it yourself!
Did anyone mention that these are completely illegal? I just bought a set and was preparing to install them. You all must have a totally different Jeep Grand Cherokee, because there is no way to get you hand up in there to take out and put in the light. So, I contacted a local shop to have them put them in, and they immediately told me they can’t do it because they are illegal and not approved by DOT. If you have an accident and these headlights have been installed, pray that the other driver’s insurance company does not find out, because you will be found completely liable and your insurance company will not pay either, as you have installed illegal after market products.
These LED bulbs are designed to directly replace the stock halogen bulbs without the need for splicing or any modifications. It's a simple plug-and-play installation. Many people have chosen to upgrade their OEM halogen bulbs to LED, and they have experienced a significant improvement in brightness. This upgrade provides a safety assurance for driving on dark roads at night.
Thank you very much for your comment and for sharing your thoughts.
Who cares what they think. We know it’s not DOT approved. But we still hooked them up to see better. Safer, and more confident on the road at night. Without blinding others.
I would just tell them. I know it’s not but I don’t care. So please I would appreciate if u just hook them up anyway.
Bet it’s $1000 just to get a mechanic to change the light bulb on these things
You can definitely change the bulb yourself! : )
Apparently, all RUclips content creators learn how to do everything with one hand because they haven’t discovered tripods or GoPro head-mounts!
It so hard
Yeah, it may take some time to complete the installation, but I believe you'll be surprised by the headlight illumination after installation!
Would you like to try it?
