this video is from 2012 but is helping me with my medical school class in 2022. RUclips is timeless
shouldn't nondisjunction happen at anaphase instead of metaphase? You explanation focuses on anaphase yet you kept referring to metaphase.
Who else is here the night right before the Bio test?
Excellent demonstration. Using letters to represent the chromosomes was very helpful
excellent! just what I needed to know thanks so much!!
Sorry, but how would be the case for XYY or Turner's syndrome? I don't understand the rules you have made here.
I thought the chromosomes double only in prophase?
meiosis 1- heterodisomy
meiosis 2- Isodisomy
Impressive work!! Thanks to you now I understand this topic with no issues!!
Why do you get AC and AC for the haploid gametes instead of AA and CC?
Because that's what the parents have
SO HELPFUL thank you! just what i needed!
Wow! This was so helpful!
Awesome video....would you please mind doing a video on mapping and linkage
.
Thank you so much, this is exactly what I was looking for.
It's Anaphase, not Metaphase. Anaphase involves the pulling away of homologous chromosomes or sister chromatids.
really good..thank u so much..
Very helpful, thank you!
marvellous
very good thank you
thank you
You're welcome
so helpful thank you
so good
Are A and C homologous chromosomes?
I think so, that's why after they duplicate, they would pair up during metaphase.
Yes! A+C are homologous chromosomes, and then A+A and C+C are considered sets of sister chromatids
thank you!
thank youuuu
Not so clear.waste of time.
Agreed
im sorry but this is horrible
Agreed!!
Very helpful.
Life saver :*
thank you!
