You did great Hailie Deegan finishing in15th place.
Really don't like this track. Two laps after a restart they spread out and there's nearly zero racing passes. Nascar should figure out a different package or something for Las Vegas. Or try using compound to make another fast line. Next gen cup cars are way better but I still think all series could benefit from compound up top

The difference between the truck race and this one was this one put me to sleep.
This race was the definition of MID. I’m sure if you looked up the word mid, this race will come up, that’s how bad it was.

Another Top 5 performance from Austin Hill the man is the definition of Consistency if Dillon has another lack luster season with the #3 team at RCR I think it is time to move on from Dillon and Hill would be my first pick to fill that #3 next year. Hill is making his Cup career looking very promising depending on how Dillon performs the rest of the year.
I think Dillon should have got the boot last year or the year before that.
I would love for Austin Hill to be in the 3 car and watch him get beat every week

I think you should give him more credit than that I think for sure he would be an improvement over Dillon depending what Dillon does the rest of the year but I think Hill is easily more talented than Dillon at this point.
Bringing an attitude to racing Cup isn’t necessarily a bad thing it helps Busch and Hamlin to be more competitive I would say Gragson to so if Hill wants to pick fights he could be the next Chastain I think easily Hill would be an improvement over Dillon at this point.

@@KenG.... 15th puts no vittles in the pantry of buck$ in the bank. Since joining the NASCAR big leagues, she's yet to even cover her salary. Thor Sports released her because of "poor performance" clause in her contract. If she continues with losing, AM racing won't be able to afford to keep her in that seat.

I know people don’t like Deegan but she got a good result today after qualifying poorly. Hopefully Xfinity is where she’s able to get consistent results, although it seems unlikely at this point

Because that's the way NASCAR does races.
It was introduced to deal with the Car of Tomorrow being so good in clean air that it was uncatchable if it broke free, so it would group the cars back together. Highly artificial, not really a fan of them, but it served a purpose when it was introduced to make races worth sticking around for.

NASCAR used to be really great, live or on TV. It's been ruined by numerous things, one being Toyota, and another being the lack of any resemblance of a "stock" car. It might actually make for a better race if each driver was given a Mustang, Camaro or Camry from the nearest dealership, and then let them all race a real car.
I was looking for a good junk yard, because they're aren't as many as their used to be. Thanks to the guy who gave me directions to a Toyota dealership.

@tompastian3447, nothing about a NASCAR Toyota is made by Toyota, not even the engine which is a SBC2. Toyota acquired the rights to that engine from GM back in 2006

It's hard spending money on tickets and gas traveling to the track in this economy. Better off just watching it at home. Probably why NASCAR has had a 20% increase (on average) in TV viewership.

John Hunter Nemechek is the new Denny Hamlin, Toyota and Honda and any foreign manufacturer does not belong in any level of NASCAR racing. Not a true American if you aren’t driving American cars, Ford, Chevy, GMC, Dodge, Lincoln, Cadillac, etc.

The money still goes over seas regardless where the car is actually manufactured even if a Japanese car is made here the money still economy wise is still being shipped over seas back to Japan it is still better to buy American manufacturing from an American company. To support our own economy rather than some foreign country I think NASCAR supports the foreign manufacturers way to much.
Stellantis I know but Dodge was still founded here and still based here which is way more American than Toyota and Honda are which are obviously Japanese and the money to support them is getting shipped over seas which is no good way better to buy American still and support our own economy which a lot of people fail to realize unfortunately and NASCAR has been falling for that woke nonsense lately.

Calling this video "highlights" is a bit of an overstatement. Whole venue sucked. Wind was awful and the action was benign - total waste of time. Massive empty stands tells you the lack of interest by race fans.
