So, a new fb post was released that the true reason was frustrating but not salacious. i haven't heard any of the members discuss it further.

It is pretty quite, but he is also fairly quite during the studio version too. If you’re talking about how he sounds that just how he sings, a fairly hard voice to get into.
Learning, entertainment, re-interpretation, homage/tribute, respect and admiration for the original. I think if the original wasn't brilliant it wouldn't have been covered.

Girl With Basket of Fruit was so good but Shayna is missed. Her talent, improv, and versatility really blended with the band.
