@@Kupper-Kites only adjustments if kite pulls to one side by altering outside left or right bridle. Looking at video footage your snake kite was flying extremely well. With 3 leg bridle the angle of attack is self adjusting. I've been flying kites for 65 years.
@@peterclark2571 With the 3 point scales the kite flew very steeply and the 3 openings were closed by the wind so that the kite crashed immediately. After I sewed on the lower balance, I was able to adjust the angle of attack to the wind and the snake makes the movements you can see in the video...
Kupper, it looks like a very good purchase. I think a festival would not be a good place to fly such a lively kite. But you have a perfect situation for this video. Appreciated.
That's right Glenn, as nice as the movements look but the kite needs a lot of space in the sky. I sewed a line to attach to a pilot kite and will fly it with a pilot/lifter... 😀👍
@@_plinse I always flew the snake without a lifter, if I had tried with a lifter kite the snake would definitely fly more smoothly... But I completely rebuilt it...
Hallo, die Schlange habe ich direkt in China bei Aliexpress gekauft. Aber Achtung: sie braucht viel Platz, ist nur bedingt auf Drachenfesten zufliegen. Suchen Sie mal bei Aliexpress.com nach: Snake Kites
@@larsflieskites Gerne geschehen, meine Schlange kam in einer Leoparden ähnlichen Tasche ( zu sehen am Anfang des Videos ) genaues Maß müsste ich nachmessen. Mit Platz meinte ich am Himmel, sie fliegt wie im Video zusehen, sehr unruhig. Deshalb nur bedingt auf Drachenfesten zu nutzen.

The tube tail makes it more interesting than the flat tail on the big snake that I have. But it's a lot to roll up when flying is finished!
I also like the tubular hose better and yes pack 55m back it takes a few minutes... but what don't you like to do for your hobby...

That's new improvement from old 6 leg bridle to 3 leg bridle. Needs tail modifying goes from flat to tubular
