I was actually looking for a way to do the opposite of Show Formula function, because for some reason switching the button on and off didn't gave me the expected result. Finally I managed to show the result of the formula by selecting the cell, hitting F2, and then Enter. Hope this could be useful for other people too :-)

Is there any way in which we can copy the text from the cell instead of formula ? except for special paste, I need to copy and paste data to another location from the cell which has formula in it?
My Question is....Since hide cannot fuction without protection, while i can just protect that cell from beginning whithout using hide and no formulas can be seen...then what's the benefit of hide in this case?
